this stuff is INSANELY good, your music and the video both. The engineering is just icing on the cake. You're a triple threat.
I instinctively punched the Subscribe and Like button 30 sec into the video, seeing you recycling the old computer chassie into a frontpanel 😎
Great build - love the background track too.
As much as the build, the music behind it is also lovely - simple yet beautiful!
I don't know how I've missed your videos, but I'm happy to be here now --- what wonderful things you are doing! thanks
I also cannot afford the outrageous price of modules. This is very inspiring indeed. Subscribed!
that's an impressive build & the soundtrack is awesome, love the way the filter creates those tones
I like the way you salvage components from old circuits. I do the same... old radios are a great source of film caps.
What an inspirational video! Superb 😍
I'm dying at the sly shot of curry in there! Love it
I love your channel man! Educational and entertaining!
literally the coolest thing ive seen all year. the music and sounds, the look and background of your synth and music. all of it is the truth of artistry and expression and individuality.
Awesome afrorack man!
This has really inspired me...
Thanks Afrorack, love the tune midnight, just a suggestion, think about going into module production.
salute for your format , greet from indo
That's genius my friend
Great hacker take on the power distribution. :) Nice work man.
Great diy build and aesthetic.
Amazing ingenuity
Congratulations, that's magnificent!
the background music is brilliant. respect!
Very inspiring, thank you
This song is just awesome.
Awesome, it’s a great sounding modular synth you’ve build here, I’d love to here the spring reverb too. Thanks !
legend
That's a very very nice build! Btw loved the power distribution bus! And also loved the analogy of rotating modules is like rotating food :)
I loved a lot of small details from this short but necessary video, it's great!
You used the internal buffers!!!??!? Awesome results! I am trying to convince myself I can hear the difference, but I can't. Wonderful.
The datasheet of the lm13700 has a VCF with a similar circuit like ms20 and they use the internal buffers...I understand the buffers have their quacks...but music is not brain surgery!!
loved it, going to build it. Thank you dude, very much
Rca jacks ! Genius !
Arturia is a cool brand. I love me some Arturia. Great vid bro!
This is dope
huge inspiration.
Sounds great.
Finally some TRUE eurorack nerd shit. Nice sounds, keep 'em up!
Wow! Fantastic! 😻
Looks delicious. ❤
Lovely sounds and a cool build!
Not gonna lie, that delicious food caught me completely off guard
Very nice, I really like your pragmatic style! Beautiful sounds :)
So good.
What a vibe
I am a fan. Of sharpies and bare pots!
dude....uhhhh this is GOOD
Nice design for the EG. :D
wait, you make all of your modules??? this is crazy!
@@Afrorack that's a great effort to put it in, I discover you through soundcloud document, You are amazing man!!
Actually spending hundreds of $$ per module is crazy. Figuring out how to build your own for cheap is brilliant.
Inspiring!
f yea ! this is where its at !
Cool! Did you also make the spring reverb module?
Cool :D I should try this filter from Rene Schmitz. The one from look mum is cool, but the resonance goes wild really fast!
The resonance path goes from the output through an opamp...You could mess with the gain of that Opamp and see if it improves things..there's also the clipping diodes..mess with those too...add more diodes and see what happens...
Wow thats impressive! You are indeed a very creative person :D +1 sub!
Blessed channel
Dope AF!
You are a boss
Can i ask a silly question, My analog synth does not have CV however i want to build an external filter for it (Prophet rev2). If i built this module would it work with just audio connected to it (In & Out), nothing connected to CV? Cheers
Yes the external filter will work but u will miss the functionality of CV...which basically is to automate the filter...the option is to do it with ur hands
Cool
I was wondering if there's any place I can listen to the song that was playing throughout the video
I have been building my front panels out of masonite, but I think I'll have to buy a jigsaw and find some thrown out computer cases like you.
How much of your (electronic) parts do you salvage from junk vs. buy new?
A mix of both...i use wires from junk yard car parts sellers..they are good quality and cheap...the panels also from pcs....the rest is from local electronic spares shops...then more specialised ICs...Amazon, Mouser uk...
ive never smashed the subscribe button so hard before. Where do you get your schematics?
magnifique!
Wowwww …👏👏👏👏
Were can you get the lm13700 i hope not you say aliexpr..
@@Afrorack europa..the Netherlands ...no originals to find..all absolete ..no texas instruments ..no RC only chinese
how much did your full modular cost?
Well I haven't kept track of all the costs since it's been incremental...and it's also been spread over several years...
❤
plz make a pt2399 echo
Dude what!
The food looks yummy :)
