First Sarada meets her Uncle, next her teenage mother and now the leader and hero she admires. I appreciate these little "what if"ideas you bring. Looking forward to seeing what else you're planning on creating.
*TLDR-* As someone who was made by multiple people to feel less than human for different reasons, I always related to Naruto's struggle of being treated differently for something he didn't choose. It's unapologetically overt discrimination. But that's part of what makes Naruto's character and larger story inspiring. It's that theme of persevering to better oneself and prove it's possible to change your circumstances no matter who you are (similarly to 2001's A Knight's Tale). *I'll elaborate with my unfiltered thoughts below, feel free to share your own:* My life wasn't nearly as hard, mind you. But the general sentiment of feeling "other" and questioning if there's a place for you in the world is something many can understand. That's one reason I LOVE underdog stories (true or fictional) like this. Naruto was dealt one of the most emotionally traumatizing hands imaginable. He could've grown into the monster people feared he was, giving into Kurama's malice and taking his hatred out on the village that shunned him for so long. The plot directly addresses this several times: *A)* Naruto saw a reflection of the path he could have gone in Gaara. But even as they fought to (nearly) the death and he was resolved to kill him if need be, Naruto felt for his enemy. It was his first time meeting another Jinchuriki, which facilitated their bond that would progress into a lifelong friendship. *B)* At the Waterfall of Truth, Naruto's dark self echoed his unconscious mind's disgust at the 180 of the villagers treating him like a celebrity after saving them from Pain/Nagato. That could be seen as what I call a "Rudolph turnaround". Meaning, it's like when Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer was mocked, marginalized, and scorned his whole life by most around him until Santa asked him for help which made everyone happy. All of a sudden, "the reindeer loved him". The very thing Rudolph was mistreated for suddenly made him a hero who'd "go down in history", because it made him useful to the already beloved Santa. "It's all about who you know", as they say, right? Naruto understood that insecurity. His inner self felt similarly, that the villagers' love was only superficial, situational, and transactional. He couldn't trust them after all they'd put him through, and they would turn on him again the moment he stopped being useful. Thankfully, Naruto had matured enough by then to know this wasn't true. He'd made friends that accepted and cared about him for who HE was, not just what he could do. He no longer needed to put up emotional walls around himself. It was okay for him to be vulnerable, and he didn't have to hold onto this inner anger anymore. For me, after what I'd been through growing up, that was a powerful message. Specifically, that moving forward isn't a betrayal to oneself. *C)* Naruto told Sasuke that their roles could have been reversed, and he could have easily chosen to wipe out the village that had caused him such pain. Sasuke also recounts that Naruto could've justifiably hated and forsaken him too. He did betray the Leaf Village + Naruto and try to kill him several times, after all. But whatever Sasuke did, Naruto refused to give up on him just as he refused to give up on himself. *D)* Naruto punched & chewed out 4th Hokage Minato. After learning that his own father sealed Nine Tails in him, he was 100% justified in being pissed even after Minato apologized for how unfair it all was. Naruto didn't let that break him though, accepting that the past couldn't be changed. He wouldn't let his beginning define his life, especially now that he had so much to fight for beyond himself. He forgave the architects of his suffering, not necessarily because they deserved forgiveness but because he deserved peace. He recognized that his dad was flawed, but his parents loved him and did their best under the circumstances. At the end of it all, Naruto grew through every adversity thrown at him, overcame, and made a proud life + legacy for himself. He even managed to forgive & befriend the very beast responsible for his rough childhood and the deaths of his parents. By the end of the 4th Ninja War, everyone connected to Naruto's mind saw his memories and understood him better. That harsh life taught him empathy that would serve him throughout his life and help him earn the respect of virtually everyone (friend or foe) who got to know him. His influence helped improve countless lives around the Shinobi World. He defied all the odds by fulfilling his dream to become the greatest Hokage in history, raising a great family, and finding love with a good woman who turned out to be someone that had always cared about & respected him.
Thank you so much, I needed to read this. Everyone in my city keeps calling me a low-life creep because I served 3 years in prison for stealing women's underwear from walmart and selling them on ebay (allegedly) However, after reading this, that won't stop me from continuing my passion. Believe it
Always rubbed me the wrong way how all of Konoha suddenly loved Naruto after he defeated Pain and how Naruto himself never acknowledged just how jarring this was. Would’ve been amazing if Naruto realized that it felt empty and that he realized that he never actually wanted to earn the Village’s love-all that mattered to him was those close to him.
Sadara would have been great friends with Naruto in both of their pre timeskip forms. She probably would have developed a crush on shippuden Naruto 😅. If she was in her two vortex design
It's easy knowing who is she talking to. She wouldn't have been any different that the other kids in naruto's childhood since she would have been told to avoid him.
I can see it. Though it’s not unusual among younger kids. If it were the other way around, then it would be a problem, and rightly so. Honestly, it probably comes from the lack of a father. She wants a father figure that she can depend on and Naruto is the epitome of goodness. He seems to fill that void and he’s basically her hero in every sense of the word. But yeah, if she met young Naruto, something tells me that she’d go for it.
@@deadtoon8379 If Naruto and Sarada were born at the same time, they could really become a good couple, but they belong to different generations, which is why their destinies turned out differently.
If Sarada was able to meet Naruto as her peer, she would have been his best friend and potentially even girlfriend, depending on Hinata maybe she would give up and let Hinata be his girl or she would notice the signs that hinata loves him and tried to nudge her further to accelerate the process.
Nah not really. Sarada see naruto like a father figure+she loves romantically Boruto because of his personality and Naruto/Boruto have different personalities.
Some AI voices and some of the original Naruto music and effects might make this even more interesting. (See Naruto Unhinged for some examples ) as it is, this isn't bad. It's pretty good. I also think it was cool that she got to see Naruto in action, when he defended her from Shin. I also liked the Itachi one.
