Hey, I'm Petu
I'm a finnish guy who likes to play Shen. I've reached Challenger on EU West and dominated the EU Nordic East server, hitting 1100LP in Season 7 (Rank 3). I started off making guides for Shen back in Season 6 and have been expanding my content ever since. As of today, the 27th of April 2019, my new PC is ready which means I can stream and upload high quality content for you guys much more often than I used to.

the darius is 2 levels behind shen 13 to 11 @17:40 and still has enough damage to kill him. Pls nerf this man.
the only way that Shen looses in this matchup is to trade when Darius's passive is up. I say that the play was Petu's fault that didn't repect the Darius (tbh Darius underestimate Shen's Q damage a lot in lane)

Yea but meanwhile he got his team, which was SUPER behind t8 the point where they won 4vs4 without him. The game isnt all about 1vs1. A champ can be good even if he doesnt win 1vs1 fights, its a teamgame.

This game is a good example for it. Darius is made to be a 1v1 lane bully monster. If you face a really good Darius, he will know to play around his passive and will know to avoid being punished by his own mistakes.
You always start with Dorans shield. In the first minutes, try to trade with him and analyze those trades, so you know if you are playing against a good or a bad Darius.
If you are fighting against a good one, it is better to play more defensively, so go for sunfire. If he is not very good, go for titanic.
Also, going for titanic always first is not always that good. That is a problem against juggernauts, because they are designed to do demage and be tanky, so if you focus on building titanic and going for demage, at some point they will outscale you with both demage and tankiness.
But against bruiser like Fiora, Riven, Renek, Camille, Jax, etc, its not bad, because they are not that tanky and it will give you a good dueling potential.

Cheyhey of course I don't know how to play darius since iam 900k diamond darius main. Aftershock is not even late game mates it's useless in mid to late game team fighting due to poor scaling.

also their only ad source besides darius is irelia, that doesnt care too much about the armor. leona cant die with w+aftershock, besifes that shes squishy. shen is "meh", but its not worth giving up so much dmg.

Aftershock makes sense but the ruby crystal? Af is the only way to get good MR early on especially with shens hybrid damage
