Hello Hazeline, thanks for compiling such an interesting report as you travel around Europe. As you must know from your time at SIA Europe is a rewarding tourist destination but visitors must take 'the rough with the smooth.' You mentioned that Paris has very few tall buildings and that includes the big US hotel chains. There are building and height restrictions imposed by the local authority to protect the Paris skyline. Yes there are tall buildings but you have to go to the La Defense area which is just outside the city centre. As for the cost of that omelette ... if you visit Switzerland you would find prices higher still !

Oh right! La Defense! I stayed in the hotel right behind of it during my flight layovers and now I remember I saw tall buildings 😆 I will make sure I cook my own omelette in Switzerland 🥲

There is usually a switch for the lights in the corridor, they have it automatically switched off because of the movement of going green and saving electricity

The tall building is on the West of Paris names La défense. I think could local law to keep everything old in the normal area.

OKKO Hotels Paris Gare de l'Est, near to two stations, it was good enoguh for a night stay!
