Finally, this is an honest documentary about Bruce Lee. This is why he’s the mixed martial arts icon and master in the world 🌎. Like Elvis, Bruce Lee, Michael Jordan, and Michael Jackson. These are Super Human and Legends forever.

WOW, thanks so very much. I am one of the greatest fans of Bruce Lee (李小龙), even learned Chinese language as a result of his inspiration. As an ardent but lay Bruce Lee fan, I have heard of this match of Bruce Lee and Wong Shun Liang before, but only a little subset of it, particularly when Bruce kicked and Master Wong Shun Liang aimed at his throat and ensued a little debate who would have done more damage. I never knew though that Master Wong's student witnessed the whole thing. Very fascinating! Thanks again. More please if you any more Bruce Lee stories!
Personally I think jeet kune do can be applied to any form of martial arts, other then kungfu. Human reflex’s tend to either expand or decrease throughout age. The core of all martial arts is the chi, which allows advantage above all others. Strengthen the chi, and you will be successful and able to use all your energy.
WSL had a bit of an ego and probably thought Bruce's movie career was making him soft. He called Bruce Lee's double leg takedown unruly. And didnt even realize he was looking at a double end bag in Bruce's house. That shows how advanced Bruce was in his training and thinking when it came to martial arts.
Cmon what? I don’t understand. I’m saying WSL was proud (this was originally from a blog post from that one of WSL’s students posted for him) and it’s easy to see WSL thought of his fight skills on the same level with Bruce. Who he in part thought acting was making him soft. I think WSL had a hard time swallowing the fact that Bruce could be better than him.
He used tan sao to block kicks!?! Use tan sao to block Muay Thai's kicks and see what happens. If BL used full force on his kicks, he could have broken his arms easily.
The definitive of legend & Brillance the truth of battle and life that a man is any art and that a man can make his life whatever he chooses through actions and the will to see it to the end to succeed
That sparring match took place six months before Bruce died for Bruce felt the only man capable of defeating him was William Cheung his older Wing Chun brother as Bruce had asked Sifu Wong if he thought he (Bruce) was capable of defeating William Cheung to which Sifu told him he cannot say Bruce died six months after the sparring session of which Sifu Wong said had I known Bruce was going to die I will have told him yes he was capable of defeating William Cheung for William Cheung is considered by most as the Grandmaster of Wing Chun by the passing of Grandmaster Yip Man while in Hong Kong Dr Leung Ting is considered the Grandmaster as GM Yip Man last and final disciple end of story
I wouldn't invite Wong Shon Leung in the Game of Death 📽 as an opponent if I was under his tutelage. It shows offensive bravado to me!! In & out of the Martial Arts 🌍 folks will perceive you as the way U in Bruce's 📽. For instance, Chuck Norris told Bruce it's possible to kick higher than waistline. What happened in Way of The Dragon? Dan Inosanto taught Bruce nunchuck skills. What Happened in Game of Death?? In that film ,Bruce seemed cocky & overbearing towards Dan A Showoff which I'm VERY pleased Leung didn't take the assignment. A fellow student of The Head Instructor at Yip Man's school 🏫 I'd don't mind seeing but Leung himself?? That's not something I'd want to 👀.
Yip man called Wong the LOGIC of Wing Chun it was from Master WSL and William Chung the BL learned most of his WC. But! In fairness to BL he was a Master himself.
Most of these Chinese martial artists smoked cigarettes on a regular basis so how in the heck were they all these devastating fighters when we real fighters know that stamina is one of the greatest attributes of fighting and smoking cigarettes inhibits that greatly.
I couldn't even watch half of this topic- diversionary, oppressive, tedious history lesson that never gets to the issue of Lee, missing Yipman's funeral
In the same scenario that appears in the photos, there is footage of Bruce instructing the choreography between the two. Wong is pathetic. It is clear that the position he occupied was "political". It has nothing to do with martial ability. Obviously he could not offer the slightest resistance to Bruce's arsenal. Bruce was light years away from martial bureaucrats like Wong.
Take Bruce Lee in his prime. Match him with 100 golden gloves boxers....same weight...mediocre not champions. Bruce Lee would be ko'd or tko'd ...98% of the time. Joe Lewis heavy weight champion....said...Bruce was a theoretician...a teacher...not a fighter. Chuck Norris said...."we never fought." Fumio Demura(RIP) said "his techniques were good...he could hit you..but he could not hurt you." He ran, lifted weights and did calisthenics, and trained techniques......he did not fight. If you do not fight...you are not a fighter.
OK , Bruce Lee was fast, and a great theoretician. As a real fighter, eventually he would get "caught", and the 130 pound little dragon would have really gotten hurt, and permanently lose all his skill.
Bruce knocked him around very badly ace. He had many bruises after the event and Bruce Lee went easy on the man. I mean come on dude! You must be racist against Chinese Americans.
@@ALIFuller-d5uExactly. So if you get hurt you loose all your skill permanently 😂😂? is that what @cubiczircconiabeard5366 is trying to say 🤣🤣🤣🤪🤣🤣? (For some reason I can't reply directly to his post)

The definitive of legend & Brillance the truth of battle and life that a man is any art and that a man can make his life whatever he chooses through actions and the will to see it to the end to succeed
from the wonderfully nerdy John Little book, Wrath Of The Dragon.
