To Build A Home (Downton Abbey)

- This is my entry for the final challenge of SYTYCV Season 3.
I decided to go for a very naturalistic and basic approach to this challenge, editing with a clear focus on emotional intensity. Downton Abbey is one of my favourite television shows and I decided making a tribute to the ensemble would be a great way to end my experience of SoYouThinkYouCanVid. I wanted to focus on certain thematic elements of the television show, such as continuity and change, life and death or love and sadness, within my video and hopefully you can see these reflected in my editing.
To be in the Top 6 out of 400 competitors is more than I ever could have imagined to achieve and I want to wish my peers in this round the best of luck!

This song represents the show so much and I haven't even seen it. The scenes you chose were absolutely beautiful and it was just absolutely beautiful.

this was one of the most complete videos i've ever seen. such a beautiful tribute to this wonderful show. you did a splendid work here. this is something I'll remember for a long time. you just pictured what this show is all about. this is the kind of video I am dreaming to see about each and every one of my fandoms. this is the video that I'm aspiring to make. perfect abd beautiful!
You totally portrayed the magnificent of this series, all the love, the sadness, the beauty. You put me in a big trip, full of emotions, and I can "touch" in some way all those feelings that Downton Abbey gave me the last years. You remind me why I loved this series at the first time, and why it will always be one of my favourites shows even when my favourite characters are gone.

So beautiful. I loved the scene selection with the echoing of movements and gestures through out the series to show the characteres' journies. The quote selection was fabulous too, I especially liked the change section. And the end... no words! Lots of luck for SYTYCV!!
