While I may not have been a huge fan of the sequels trilogy stories, I do think that both the visuals and cinematography were both beautifully well made.

I know they’re not perfect, but I love these movies, they reignited my love for Star Wars again…and despite what people are saying now, there will come a time where the vast majority of fans are going to look back fondly on them…as Filoni slowly connects everything and we eventually have the full backstory of it all, these movies will be viewed in a whole different light, mark my words. It’s happened before with the prequels and it will happen again here, as much as the haters don’t want to admit it or accept it, these movies are *not* incapable of being redeemed in the eyes of the fan base.
Yeah these are good and okay movies, the thing is, they aren't good for Star Wars. I would have loved a movie like the last Jedi, but as a Star Wars movie, it's not very good. The rise of skywalker was also a pretty good movie and was even an okay Star Wars movie, but they just don't fit the story of Star Wars right

In originals it made sense becouse there was no temple to train in with guards that would train Luke and vader was old..you can explain it but in sequels the only explanation is LAZY

I don’t hate the Sequel Trilogy, at all. Visually, it’s stunning thanks to modern cinematographic technology, as well as both JJ and Rian’s love of unique camera shots. I just wish the Sequel expanded their new ideas more. Kylo’s crossguard lightsaber was, I thought, a tease of the bold new ideas the Sequels would introduce; Finn’s introduction as a Stormtrooper-turned-hero of the Resistance seemed set up for success; the rampant theories of Snoke being Darth Plagueis and it possibly connecting to Jar Jar Binks being a Sith/Darth Plagueis himself as well or at least a Sith spy had my mind running wild with ways the Sequels could intertwine all 3 trilogies while telling a new story. But while visually, the Sequels do definitely perform well, the story (while not all bad imo) still seemed kinda lackluster and running out of steam. Rather than being mad, I’m just left yearning for more.

Even though the Sequel Trilogy has a few setbacks, it's still a great trilogy regardless. It's not as great as the Original Trilogy because the Original Trilogy is very great, but the Prequel Trilogy is just okay. The point is that the Sequel Trilogy is just great (not very great).

You know what's weird about that sunset tie fighter shot (and I believe even JJ references this on his commentary)... it wasn't sunset in the story. He just thought it was cool and threw it in there. LOL.

I didn't liked the sequels (except for 8). Especially for their scenario. But I wanted to watch new stories, even if they're not good. I wanted to dream again like when I was watching the OT and PT. Beyond getting what I wanted, I got amazing visuals that were mind blowing. It was always fantastic to watch those new environments. And I will be forever grateful to those who made these films.
I would love to see one for the og trilogy, because with the prequels and sometimes the sequels, I see nothing but cgi, but with the originals I see genius. IDK

@@tmantonytv1166 The force awakens = a new hope the last jedi = plot doesnt match with force awakens, showed unnecessary stuff like the gambling planet and it destroyed the character luke skywalker ( milk drinking) on top of that no character development. rian johnson tried to do something else but this is star wars you cant do that the rise of skywalker = was actually a decent movie but it destroyed the prophecy of the chosen one. they should have shown lukes jedi academy and then kylo ren killing all jedi with the knights of ren and than luke skywalker trying to stop them with rey and then luke dies and in the end anakin shows up kills emperor and kylo ren and rey are holding hands as a symbol of showing the balance of the forve that would be much better

One thing this sequel trilogy did right was shoot on film. That alone set its visual aesthetic and look apart from so many other modern blockbusters

the last jedi = plot doesnt match with force awakens, showed unnecessary stuff like the gambling planet and it destroyed the character luke skywalker ( milk drinking) on top of that no character development. rian johnson tried to do something else but this is star wars you cant do that
the rise of skywalker = was actually a decent movie but it destroyed the prophecy of the chosen one.
they should have shown lukes jedi academy and then kylo ren killing all jedi with the knights of ren and than luke skywalker trying to stop them with rey and then luke dies and in the end anakin shows up kills emperor and kylo ren and rey are holding hands as a symbol of showing the balance of the forve that would be much better
This was beautiful! Please do one for the other two trilogies
I think Luke vs Kylo on Crait has to be one of the most beautiful shots in all of Star Wars

Say what you want about the story telling, I agree, but the cinematography is so damn good. I just want to put these movies on with the sound off for the visual aesthetic lol
