CARBURETOR TUNING PROCEDURE (SOP)......
STEP 1. Warm up the engine adequately and set the idling screw so that the engine runs at a higher rpm than its normal idling specification (1300 RPM approximately).
STEP 2. Now turn the Mixture screw in or out slowly and select a position where the engine rpm reaches to the peek / highest speed position while setting. Now stop adjustment of Mixture screw. Normally this will occur in between 3 + 1 turns of Mixture screw from fully close position.
STEP 3. Now adjust the idle screw to bring down the engine revolution to the specified idle 1050 + 200 RPM.
STEP 4 After adjusting the idling rpm check the CO% (1 to 1.5% ) and readjust the mixture screw if necessary.
STEP 5. After adjusting idling speed, check for its stability / flat spot / missing if any, by accelerating 3 to 4 times. Repeat above said the steps untill engine speed increases smoothly.
NOTE : Incase the idle speed is too high will cause poor mileage, if it is too low engine will stall.
CAUTION : During idle speed turn the handle bar to extreme right or left hand side, if any change in idle speed noticed, the throttle cable may be improperly adjusted or wrongly routed. Correct the same before test ride.

This will increase the mileage but there is one probkem what i obserced in my classic 350 BS3, i.e. the batter charging will not be adequate in low idle RPMs, at night time when using Headlight, turn signals and horn, thr lights get dim, soon the battery will lose all its charge. Second issue is during winter cold nights, engine requires multiple attempts to start and longer pre-heat procedure. So its always better to have your idle RPM more. Bullet is not expected of higher milages, but better cruise experiemce, so enjoy the bike ride in its limits only.

after 3 threads it effects on my exhaust note . observing sound becomes low after 4 threads to 3.
Sir is tuning in rpm effect engine life because maaine thodi si badhaa di because my self start and kick system doesn't start the engine it does a crank sound and after tune the rpm screw now it's in perfect condition

Bro a UA-camr told that open the mixture the AFR screw 7 full turns and that will give perfect meilage and power but I followed ur suggestion the channel name auto badshah
Bullet guru please tell about the badly noise like tik tik on classic 350 give proper direction on this tik tik noise is when the rpm is low the noise is coming out.and second when the engine is cold.. after heat up tik tik noise will stop..
My bike is not switched off, when mixcer screw in full tight… please let me know what is the issue
Done this long before when you put same video about the tuning. Got decent milage when I rode to rameswaram. 42 kmpl with pillion.
