The bolted armor plate when hit would have caused a spalling affect as other Italian armoured vechiles of the day. Still one of my favourite armoured cars of WW2 though the best has to be the German Puma and or the Britsh AEC armoured cars.
I would have thought that the AB41 at 19:00 would be more likely to be using .303 M1919s rather than .30 as it looks like North Africa, and the Italians would have been facing UK and Commonwealth troops.
The AB41 had 8x59 Breda M38 ( 20round vertical magazine special for Armoured Vehicles. Captured MGs were Bren in 303, by Bersaglieri; the RA had .303 ( 7,7x56R) Italian MGs ( aircraft)
