Sorry for the lack of new videos on my channel, but I'm doing my best to get rid of a nasty cough I've got. Plus, thanks to Alfie, my channel has got 700 subscribers. I've got a cold too, which isn't quite so bad.

I predict this will be a dog due to the split chassis and the fact that my one and my mainline Scot Guardsman with the same design wete infact both also dogs. They did however look great (and guardsman was my 1st ever tender engine and main xmas present in about 1991). So thanks for posting the vid whatever the outcome.

Update - pleased to see how well it runs, but it does seem a bit jerky, maybe there's a dirty spot on the coil or commutator that would smooth it out. Lovely to see it going!

@ I used to own the engine, I cleaned it out before giving it to Ryan, it runs fine

I've actually had positive outcomes with all of the split chassis Mainline locomotives that I've owned (now 3 in total over the years)
It runs well , and looks pretty good too!
