Coffee and Autorestomod is a good way to start the morning. I think I will look into this feature for our 1968 Mercury Cougar. Please keep making the jokes, comments, and videos.
Cool. I installed one of the F150 units in my '69 Cougar years ago. I think I had to swap positions of a couple of wires in the connector to get the washer pump to work, but still a simple install and excellent upgrade. Nice to see there's an option that doesn't involve scouring junkyards in hope of finding a 40 year old electrical part that still works.
I the mid 90's I had a 1972 Ford F100 and it had regular wipers. I went to a local auto wrecker and found an OE intermittent switch and box and installed it. It worked perfectly
Years ago, I installed an aftermarket add on wiper delay on my truck, it worked ok but died last year. I sourced a good factory wiper delay kit off ebay and man does it work nicely.
Back in the 80s I found an after market for under dash. It had the same pattern knobs on it that matched the ones on the dash. I still have it and it works great. I havnt seen one like it since so dont know if they are still made. So if I need to replace it i know what toi do. Thanks for a great video.
Great, On my 66 f100 original wiper switch crumbled and fell apart replaced it with 1989 bronco with delay the box is very fragile not very tough now I have a replacement Thanks,
Start of the video: cool I hate reaching down, around and under the steering wheel in my 68 Falcon every time I want to run the wipers, intermittent would be cool! End of the video: OK maybe reaching down, around and under isn't so bad.
The thumbnail said this will work on any old Ford. Does that include the 65 thunderbird which has hydraulic wipers that run off the power steering pump?
Nope. Unless you delete the wiper and start over. The thumb is a hook to get views pure and simple. The title is vauge too. All of this so the algorithms on UA-cam put us out there so you can see the video in your feed. And it worked! Thanks gor watching.
@@AutoRestoMod thank you! Have seen that , but there is no mention of the wire colour. Im looking for identification of the wire colours of the delay module and switch to put it into a 73' jeep truck with aftermarket wiring harness.
Great channel with great info and i enjoy the bs and back n forth. Jeff’s a great resource and also generous with his time I installed my hood latch incorrectly and I emailed him and he was able to set me straight 👍🏻

Get them elbows drained and compression wrapped. It’s relatively painless.

This is an outstanding setup to upgrade a lot of Ford vehicles.
Sweet I needed those tips & going to use for my 66 fairlane, Thanks Jeff good stuff for us as always !!
You are welcome!

Argh! I saw the title and hoped there were new options for the 67-8 mustangs! Good info, though!!

I want one for my Maverick.
I have installed a American Autowire update on a 1967 mustang. Do you have a wiring suggestion to get this wired to the mustang?
We've done a couple of wiring installs for auto wire on our channel check those out.
Looks like this is a Dennis Carpenter part.
Would be nice if you could name the wire colours and what is what!
Im trying to put this switch with delay module into my 73' jeep truck
There is a really good write-up on this modification on fordification.com.

Can this be used with a 1956 F100?
@@terrycarter8929 yes i would say it is
Anybody know where to find the motor? Everyone seems to be out of stock on the F-17508-11A wiper motor.
Just the way it is right now. You might try the salvage yards.
Yet no one makes anything for a 77 lincoln. There's not enough wires to Evan make it work. These are all 7 wire mines 9
I'm sooooo confused,....
This guy has cartoonish elbows.
The guy has an arthritic condition called Bursitis. Not painful but not easy to get rid of.
Just a suggestion. Don’t talk and joke so damn much. Get to the point . Cut the BS by 50% and your channel will grow.
Angelo C. You do have the right to view another channel; if you don't like the content of this one, most of us in here too learn something
I like the BS
Get out Angelo
