Defend isn't a counter to ranged attacks, but to piercing attacks. I'm not sure how attack types work in this. SC2 doesn't have piercing attacks so I'm not sure how that works
Can you play Undead against for example Protoss next? I wonder how they resolved the fact how Undead gather resources here. Same with Nigth Elves to some extent
This looks better than Reforged... All blizzard needed to do was improve the lighting in the game, not completely re-design the units and buildings from scratch.
@@TabalugaDragon funny enough these mods are only possible because Blizzard ported all the units and abilities to SC2 for a Wc3 remake and then decided to do Reforged instead
yeah Mountain King died in mere seconds, it looked like a total joke. Should have given him more HP. I wonder how Paladin would fare here though, with his shield, defense aura and healing. Would probably be slightly better.
SC2 and WC3 are different on damage and combat length department. In WC3 it's normal for a unit to survive for minutes in combat. In SC2, any unit... And I mean ANY unit dies under 2-3 seconds of sustained fire from a 100 supply army. SC is not balanced around not using units in engagements and drawing out combat for half an hour on end. In WC3 a hero can tank a full supply army by itself for some time. That just doesn't fly in SC2.
@@sanguineaurora8765 actually Kerrigan is an exception. And who is she? A hero, just like heroes in here. They don't need to be as strong as her(for balancing reasons) but I expect them not to die within 1-2 seconds. They should be a little weaker than Protoss'es mothership.
@@hansmatos2504 In Warcraft 3 heroes have up to like 20-30 times the HP normal villagers do. They aren't just strong, they are legendary. Also, using your logic, none of Warcraft 3 units should have a chance against SC2 units. For balancing reasons, heroes should be stronger than shown in this video.
Footmen are pretty good against Terran, considering that all of their units are ranged.

Tbh I prefer the reforged design rather than the original to match the designs of both SC and WC units
