- This awesome adventure brings us to area 10 near seattle Washington. I get to hangout with my amazing Grandpa and slay some COHO Area 10. using some basic gear but a well kept secret, salted herring in 1" chunks top hook. Bite is on. get out there and fish baby.

I agree hope not either. If it was they got a big thump
Gorgeous day
Were you near the weather buoy off Richmond beach when the ball snapped off? Couldn’t quite tell if you were there or near meadow point.
Close too it, If I know right. It sits in 30' of water. We're in 360+ when ball cut off
@@unjarredoutdoors5513 no sir. I nicknamed that weather buoy there hell buoy on the count of how man people I have seen get wrapped up on or lose their ball to its 4 long cables. I’ve hung up on it multiple times as well! If fishing deeper than 50-60’ I won’t get within 50 yards of that buoy. I think it’s only about 200-250 feet deep near it though.
I’m talking about they yellow weather buoy off Richmond beach btw. It measures for tsunami’s so it’s anchored in deep and wide.
@@BBBB47884 never got anywhere close to that one. One one we got close to was in 30' of water and was white
Wow! I had the same thing happen to me while trolling as well. Lost my downrigger ball too. Didn't have a clue what it could be but now I do.. what are the odds.. haha
Fish on!!!
Nice work my man!!
Thanks buddy
It's nice to see you out enjoying the water the fishing the family and of course whatever it was your rigger hit yikes
Yikes is right!
Nice
❤❤❤❤❤
Thats an illegal Coho you thru into your cooler. If the fin behind the dorsel fin on top of the fish is present, it means its a wild Coho and you can be fined or even loose your boat if your a repeat offender. To keep Coho in Puget Sound, area 10 it MUST be a hatchery fish, not wild. The way you can tell is the top fin behind the dorsel will be missing. When you held the fish up to your camera, it certainly appeared that the missing fin was in fact present, right next to your left hand.
