Sheikh Zayed Road is the main road in Dubai, UAE. It is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first President of the United Arab Emirates. This multi-lane highway stretches for about 55 kilometers through downtown Dubai and is one of the most famous roads in the region.
Sheikh Zayed Road is known for its skyscrapers, including such famous buildings as Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world), Emirates Towers, Dubai World Trade Centre and others. Numerous shopping malls, hotels, restaurants and business complexes are also located on this road, making it one of the key shopping and business centers in the region.
