Stockton Firefighters Make Quick Work Of Detached Garage Fire

Stockton Firefighters responded to a structure fire on South American on August 23rd, 2016. Fire crews arrived on scene to a detached garage, heavily involved, behind a single story- single family dwelling. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the fire without injury or incident.
Earlier that morning, Good Day Sacramento had arranged to cook a #HometownHeros breakfast for firefighters at Firehouse 2. As reporter @HeatherBrent and Chef @MichaelMidgleyJr broadcasted live at company 2- Stockton Firefighters responded to this box alarm. Upon returning to the firehouse, crews got to enjoy the hot breakfast. Firefighters in Stockton would respond to 5 working structure fires that 48 hour shift- so a big breakfast was greatly appreciated. I'm still confused. I like that the guys on the branches (nozzels in the us?) put their facemasks on, but why not the guys with the irons?

0zzyninja the guys on the nozzle go inside the structure where the air is not breathable the guys with the irons don’t particularly need them because the wind was blowing the smoke the other direction and they were outside where there is still breathable air
