The turtle wax trim restorer is initially oily, but if you wait 5-10 minutes after applying it and wipe it down with a clean rag, it takes off a lot of the oil:) Great video!
Awesome! I was using Armor All and by the end of the day it was back to that faded look. You've helped me make my decision about a new trim restorer. Thanks guys!
Awesome! Glad we helped! We will have part 3 coming up in a few weeks so stay tuned. Thanks for the support!
Nice test guys. Super helpful. Thanks for posting. Can't wait for the end results.
Hats off to you guys. Great review and you definitely have the right person in front of the camera and the right person behind it !
Thanks for doing this. Great vid. Can’t wait to see what it looks like after 1 month!!!
Good observation and planning on keeping the next video in next month. Great job guys
Thank you Guys, your update video helps a lot to choose pocket friendly product.
Wow thanks for the update great!
Love it, that Turtle Wax is impressive. After 1 month, I would say that looks factory!
Fantastic video. Thanks for sharing Your reviews. God bless You in everything You do. Blessings from LA 👏👏💯💯👌👌🙏🙏
Great video guys. Very useful even to an auto detailer in me. Btw, it's Mac-Gua-yi-ers and Sarah-Coat. Lol.
Does this product work for the front grill?
How is the 3in motofab spacer lift working still? Im looking at different spacer lifts and giving that kit a thought
i use the meguiars products and it looks the best even after the rain.Their tire shine is fantastic and lasts also and i love their wax.
Thanks for the comment! We like their products too, but we will no longer be using the plastic trim restorer, it's clearly worse than the others. Hope this helps! 🍻
I needed this!! I was seeing so many different review about the meguiars ultimate black for trim and they were bad. I was upset because I had mine for a month brand new product and still haven’t tried it and I got upset from the other review until I saw this one and this saved me from throwing it out!!!!❤️❤️🤌🏼
This review made up for the last video great content thanks. I like the updates liked and subbed. Trust is restored
One thing that works very good is wipenew. I was a little concerned about how good it would work, but it works amazingly! I've used it on my trim, and used their headlight stuff. I've tried a lot of different products and its one of the best.
Awesome I have had my Jeep for two years now and it drives me crazy. No I know what to use. Thanks
Good job, folks especially long term results. Would like to try them both (trim & headlight).
Thanks just AMAZON ordered a trim restorer, based on your recommendation
Hi what is like for the the door panels and inside the trim ,does it hide the scratches well
I appreciate the feedback kind regards
Yo! It’s been almost 7 weeks- what’s the prognosis from your second test of trim restorers? Is Turtle Wax still best or one of the newcomers?? I gots to know!
Lol! Sorry for the delay!we were shooting for 2 months to get the max difference among the products. Should be out soon, promise the patience is worth it!
Great video- I’ve been using Mother’s Back to Black, and had used Meguire’s previously. Going to wait for your next update before I buy anything else. Thanks for doing this.
Simple answer to a simple question & u send em to another vid. So ur incapable of answering comments?
I need to try that turtle wax 👀 I was using mothers and was having to reapply once a week. Terrible 👎 Thanks for the video guys!
Cheers guys, great review. Think I will be purchasing some turtle wax. 👍👍 all the way from the UK
Thank you for the support and comment! Wishing you all the best from SoCal!
I used Meguire's ultimate black on my JK and it looks great. My fenders were pretty faded being a 2012 model but 3 months later they are still black.
Looks like you all are really wealthy so let a pro detail it with what they use.
We pronounce it like "Maguire's" in Arkansas, but we were just guessing. Great review video. Thank ya'll
Nice watch!!!
Your wife is a Top Notch detail girl.I have been married for 30years and my wife has never cleaned the inside or out of any of her cars.I guess thats my job.
Sangat menarik di lihat video nya. Jadi bisa lihat mana yang terbaik di antara produk itu.
I have a few family members I'm trying 4 different plastic and headlight restoration kits on.
I'm just learning about the Cerakote. (haven't watched the entire vid yet) I live in southern Arizona and the sun is BRUTAL!!! So, I'm very curious on how that one will perform!?!?!? What I'd like to find is a product that can bring the life and shine back to the high gloss piano black on the exterior door pillars....... any suggestions????
@@Garagecouple I actually just tried it out last week, I must say.... not impressed. It made the plastics look blotchy then it was a total pain to deal with in trying to correct it. Aerospace 303 will still be my go to. But you never know unless you try right?!
your tj needs metallic orange 7 inck fenders and same orange for handles hinges and mirrors
Is there an "Update 2 of 2" with the final results of the second fender after a month's time?
I am a detailer so shiny is key in my business. I like turtle wax trim restore or black magic tire wet gel.
I use WD-40 from time to tome, but I'll check with one of the products you analyzed (if available in Germany) - thx, great channel!
Thanks for the support! We've tried wd40 in the past but it washes away pretty quickly!
So which one won?
Can you use those on the angry grill?
Why would you want to? Why you so angry bro. The worst jeep mod ever. I usually say to each to their own when it comes to mods. Can't let angry grills go. Terrible
I Hope You Make A Video about Solution Finish it's Much Better And Worth The Price And Effort!!🙂
I would love to see 303 aerospace protectant
Cool! We would have kept going, but cerakote has been killer and I can't imagine anything other than painting being better. We ended up just coating all our plastic with cerakote.
Those store bought dresser are great when first applied but not last very long. You actually need a trim restorer like Cerakote, Solution Finish or Renew and Protect Blak.
Again, where do you buy Skim33 without ordering from Canada, and then having the American Customs goons delaying your shipment?
We dont recommend purchasing it because it doesn't last more than a few days
Being a detailer, any trim restorer is best buffed off. It’ll get rid of oily feel and look. Carpro Perl is the best trim AND interior dressing/restorer
I use black plastic restorer from Harley Davidson that I use on my bike
Crazy but I swear I saw a video of someone using peanut butter and it worked awesome. Something about the natural oil in peanut butter
My name is Eddie I’m 60 years old I’m looking to buy me a jeep I love your videos you inspired me motivate me too purchase a jeep. Your wife and you are a awesome team I’m a Christian I go to a church call the Montebello Ark we were called Calvary Chapel before. And I also notice you always praise God and I find that beautiful keep up the good work I’m watching you guys all the time I never comment on any videos that I see but yours was an inspiration praise God keep up the good work your friend Eddie Jimenez I live in Pico Rivera California grew up in Montebello.
Great review, but I tried them all and after three washes back to the same weathered look, I found plastic dye restorer was the best, does what it says and revitalizes it way beyond my expectations and lasts lot longer than three washes lol
Turtle wax definitely looks the best.
are those metal fenders? most of the products says PLASTIC trim restorer. I don't know if that makes a difference.
Hi when new update will come? Round three
Hi there! We are just waiting to see how they perform over time.. The test is still in progress lol! Stay tuned!
Not sure if its been brought up, but I believe it's pronounced "Sera" coat. Like ceramic.
Between that and the Meguiars debacle, I think you guys are the UA-cam equivalent of the key and peele episode where he pronounces everyones names wrong lolol
Great video though. The follow up video is super beneficial to see.
Di antara 4 produk itu menurut saya turtle wax dan meguiar's sangat cocok di gunakan di iklim indonesia.
Saya setuju itu adalah yang terbaik tetapi tetap disini untuk melihat episode terbaru. Terima kasih atas dukunganmu
I thought she was gonna pour the soda on the trim to see which product will melt away
Penetrol will win every-time. Give it a try. Available at Home Depot, Lowes etc in the paint section.
Thanks for the comment! We will give that a try on round 3! Thanks for watching
I’ve only used the Mothers Back to Black. It was garbage. Back to original fade within a few weeks.
You need to get "solution finish" it's s true trim restoration product as opposed to the very temporary products you have tried. Oh and seriously please pronounce meguires correctly 🤪😉🤣🤣🤣
I've used solution finish quite a bit, and while it is great at restoring faded plastics, I've found it lacks in longevity.

Garage Couple I appreciate the great content I can use this for my auto detailing business, don’t fall into product advertising. I would buy a t-shirt supporting your channel the more authentic the better 😁 wish you guys the best.
Also i checked out your videos cue if you don’t mind a bit of criticism. You can almost catorgize the types of videos you’ve got by emphasizing certain features that gives the viewer a certain distinction of what to expect. At least for me it would be easier to glide through your videos a lot more quicker by having me more engaged on the topics
For some reason Chrisfix channel gives me a sense of easy to be more engaged auto field because I feel for me it’s easy to recognize what kind of work he’s doing
Try Aerospace 303 herd a lot of good things about it
Dude I got that from Amazon and it was just dull. The next day it looks like it was before. Maybe I need to put elbow grease into it??
İl go with MEGUAIRS
Very good review. Advise to the boyfriend, stop interrupting her. Just like the last video, when she was explaining the applications he just took over, stealing the show. She does well.
Lol I thought she was holding that glass and it contained coca-cola, because I heard some use it to shine their tires and plastic trip and they were going to put it to the test 😅
CERAKOTE will win. Prep the surface and it will stay on for longer than all the non-ceramic products you tested. My experience.

Hi There! How are these products for internal use? Besides the Cerakote that was smelly, how were the others?
Please let me know. Thank you.
Just a suggestion - Try CERA TRIM as well if you have a chance. Cheers.
👏🏻 Solid review-much appreciated, but please get your husband to shave the back of his neck. It's really gross. Can't stand seeing a dude that can't handle the basics.
Just a courteous correction, cerakote is pronounced s-erakote. The c is pronounced as an s. They are a big player in the firearm coating industry and gun guys take details seriously. A lot of them also own Jeeps. Hope this helps prevent negative comments.
@@thehappytexan YES! As in ceramic! After all, it is a ceramic coat.
