Nothing better than to see and old girl on the road again.
Please do not bury it. Try to get it running and we'll all be watching right alongside you every step of the way.
Love the prayer off the top. As a Christian, it’s refreshing to hear.
You know they always did it. I'm glad they shared it even though some people may not be.
Amen
Amen
Hate to be that guy but everyone that has been baptized is per definition a Christian. As someone who actually have lived several years in a Benedictine monastery I would say that believer is a more accurate term. PAX
I'm so blessed to have found your channel. Your faith and passion delight my soul.
Your prayer at the start of your show was awesome
Praise God
My first vehicle was a 1967 Pontiac Tempest.
I paid $25 for it, it didn't have an engine or tranny in it.
Then a couple days later I bought a Chevy 230 6 cyl with a powerglide trans.
I put it in and got all new fluids installed and was broke, car didn't have a driver's seat so I found a bean bag chair and duct taped the holes and used it for driver's seat for nearly a year.
Be Blessed.
Around 1980 or 81, my brother bought a '69 Tempest that had a little bit souped-up engine (I think it was a 389 with mild cam and headers/four barrel).
He paid a girl $175 for it. When he bought it, he asked the girl "Why was she selling it for only $175 " ?? Her answer, "Well, I never had $175 before" !
He drove it from Illinois to California and the only issue was - every time he went to start it - he had to crawl under and jiggle the shims on the starter.
Nice to see and hear prays. Thanks.
As a teenager,
I owned this same car at the same time as owning a '64 rag top Bonnevillewith A/C, power seats & Windows. The 'Bonny'was a Coupe and the Catalina, a station wagon.
Growing up my parents had both a 64 Catalina and a 70 VW square back!!! Love your content God bless…
Was that not a square back in the background?
@@tomgeddes7878 yes it was
My friend drove his mothers Pontiac LeMans push button automatic, looked a lot like that one, tank, when I was 16 and he was also 16 and I had a 72 gremlin 304- v8 3 speed manual both cars had some crazy power.
You guys tackle the toughest start and runs on you tube and you don't give up! That's what I love about you guys! God bless you and keep up the great work!
Wow can't wait to see you guys do your magic, God bless you all.
Big hug to you guys, God bless you!
From sunny Puerto Rico ☀️
I love Pontiac's can't wait to see this beautiful car get saved!!!!
I agree Eric!
well as much as i would want to see it get running, im not sure this one is worth their time or effort! LOL Its pretty much gonzo
I'd love to see you try to get this one running. The 64 Pontiac is one of my favorites and I love a 4 door even. Even if this thing is so far gone to barely be a parts car, it would be cool if it could run one more time before the few good parts get sold and the rest gets scrapped.
Wow, sure bringing back memories of MY first car. I got the old family car when the folks upgraded to a '66 Buick. At 16 I happily got the keys of a '63 Catalina! 😆
What ever you guys decide to do.
I'll watch with overwhelming joy
I love and respect your channel and not affraid of offeneding anyone and lead in prayer God Bless you and yours and your channel
Anyone offended by prayer does not need to be here ! These two fellas live by the book and it shows !
You guys are Great and it is a pleasure to watch all of your adventures. God be with you all . BE BLESSED
First car I ever owned was a 1964 Pontiac Catilina convertible. I miss her to this day. I named her "Catherine" and still dream about her. She was maroon with a white convertible top and red interior. V8, too. She was awesome. Bought her in 1973. I'm now 66 years old and miss her to this day.
The front and back bring back fond memories. Parents bought a new 64 Catalina convertible red, black top and interior, 389 and turbo 400. Drove the car to high school.
After several months i found again your channel guys i dont know how i lost u but i am happy to see you both dad and son!Keep going!
I love this Pontiac. I'd love to see you try getting it running. It still has alot of potential
Love this channel your dad reminds me so much of my uncle who used to restore old cars. One of my best memories was when he restored an old Dodge Charger into the general lee.
It's the tire!! Lol!
Good Seeing You & Your Dad Yanking That Old Pontiac From It’s Vinny Grave.. She Looks Really Far Gone, Scary Deep-Set Rust, But If It’s Feasible, Always Interesting Seeing You Guys Getting Things To Run Again..
I can't help but to think that Pontiac is saying, "somebody finally found me."
Beautiful Pontiac front end ! And it’s great you and you’re Dad are this close to work together
As you say, the chrome is worth more than the car, although the bumpers and fenders seem savable. Very enjoyable to see a father/son work together so well.
Vice grip in the morning and restored in the afternoon just great better than anything on the t.v keep up the great work and stay safe brothers
We had a '64 Catalina 2+2. I've always wanted to find one. Ours was a great ride.
Love Pontiac’s such a cool big ol boat
Oh my LORD, Lance, praying before your work is the most awesome act that I have ever seen on UA-cam. As a small garage mechanic myself I have found prayer to make all the difference. Keep on praying my brother. The LORD says that it is good!!
That's awesome.. Brothers in Christ, love the channel 👍
Thanks for another great video. I love these old car rescues. I know it's probably well beyond repair but I would really like to see you take it home, clean it thoroughly inside and out to see what's actually left and then, if it can't be saved, it could be a valuable source of spares for someone.
Totally agree with you, Colin. That is the only sensible/viable option for that one, sadly.
I love watching you shoot air into those old tires
Can't wait to get home from work to watch this one!
That ride was someone's ride from the hospital, from the store, from the church, from the prom, from the job and someone's ride to the cemetery. Give it a clean up and let us hear its story. Every car has a story, let us hear it.
I'm pretty sure the story to this car is over! No more encores for this turd haha
I agree on that too 👍😎 Every car has a story 😊🚗
@@roguegorilla8981 seen a lot worse put back together again.
I think you called it !
Who puts or allows these cars to be here?
The Lord has blessed you all.. love the video... the editing is amazing too.. merry Xmas and all the best in the new year.. Cheers from Canada
Loved the prayer prior to work, all is to the glory of God.
JUST SO YOU KNOW, THAT WAS THE TIRE !!
😂😂😂😂
That epic sound bit of the tire/tires making noises hahaha
Keep being you guys 🤘😎🤘
Another awesome video from Sister Christian, amazing work everyone
Fix it up and get the car running
" It'll buff out" ! lol I had a 63' Bonneville 2 door and my friends had a 63 4 door Catalina. Loved to drive the catalina with its 389 and glass packs ! lol Also first car i've seen with reverse all the way down on the column shifter.
I so hope you guys can get this old Pontiac running 🏃!!!
I want to see an attempt on the engine. Whatever you learn about it likely to increase the resell price, especially if you can get it to cough and sputter, at least. Keep up the great work!
Theres no resale value here you dont sell.it you.keep.it there no more around
I would also like to see a attempt at the engine to see if you can get her running again like the old Rambler that was stuck & you got it running again
Make it a 2door....restomod the F out it.....1kHP!.....all black!w/ some chrome in the wheels & here & there.....
Ive got the rhd stationwagon version of this
All the chromework on that is still way better than mine ..joys of living in the uk i guess
This car has had it. Getting the engine running would be a complete waste.
SUCCESS IS ALWAYS FOR THE RESTORED CHANNEL, HOPE ALL CREW ARE GIVEN HEALTH, GOD BLESS...
MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎄
GREETINGS FROM INDONESIA 🇮🇩
I need to come visit Texas. Man, there are so many great old cars down there. Here in Maine they rust away because of all the salt they put on our roads. Keep saving them. Great content and a great family. Wishing you so much more success in the new year.
I had a 66 Catalina 389 back in 68 . Great cars.
let's try to save this cool Pontiac. it deserves some lovin'.
My family had a 1962 catalina pontiac. I was hoping you could restore her but your the better judge. I really appreciate your stand on faith, especially your prayer at the beginning of your videos. Keep up the great work y’all do!!
Originally watched two years ago still a great episode to come and enjoy again. Amen.
What kind of awesome videography is Sister Christian going to supply for us to enjoy today? Can't wait to see. Great to see another one of your family productions. Just beware of the 🐀
Great show. Thanks guys. It would be a kool episode of you attempting to unstick and fire it off
Like seeing you guys out there getting old cars again good luck and God bless you all stay safe 🙏
Honestly, it breaks my heart to say so, but I think this one just needs to be laid to rest.. Part it out for what you can, in case you happen to find another and let this poor baby go..
Agreed Jon, she is way to far gone at this phase.
Heck yeah this is gonna be awesome episode I own a 68 Pontiac LeMans absolutely love that car
Let's see that 68' !
@@vicferrari9380 I was thinking about doing a video on my channel but I'm primarily a gun Channel but I love it if you check out some of my gun reviews
My mom had a 2 door 64 Bonneville. Same color as yours. She still talks about it now. It's like listening to a lost love story. 🌞
Thanks for all the great videos you guys are blessed saving the unsaveable
Or in this case, scrapping the insaveable.
As always, awesome video. I want that Squareback!
I'm with you guys, I think it's too far gone, she was once a pretty car, she needs to be laid down and go to car heaven.
Yes videos like these became a hobby of mine when I got my 2 old school cars like 5 years ago. A 1990 Cadillac brougham and a 1971 Buick Electra 225 four door.
Good day to you and all the viewers!
I’m always interested in watching all the recovery projects your family puts out on UA-cam! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
I had a thought about when those vehicles are far down in the dirt, like this Pontiac. Why don’t you just shovel dirt down into the holes after the vehicle is jacked up? The boards are an ok idea but they have a good chance of breaking or sagging once the jack is released.
I’m already looking for the will it start on this old car. Have a great weekend to all.
I needed your prayer ,thanks again.
Another great video.you guys are amazing at the hard work you put in to the cars and the videos thank you so much and God bless
May God keep blessing y'all
There should be a lot of good little trim parts you could sell to help recoup your cost. That front nose cut across the front of the hood and fenders might make a really cool wall hanger. Other than that, I’d haul the rest to the recycler. To bad, I love those old Pontiac’s.
I got one of these, owned it now 36 years, still running, I paint it with house paint every few years, plated and running after 20 of not. my favorite car nice to see another being taken car of. nice.
Great video as usual, and a great prayer to begin with, LOVE IT!!!
Tremendous example that you always praise the creator in all you do . God Bless you guys .
HI GUYS I ALWAYS LOVE WHAT YOU DO TOGETHER PEACE !!! THE POOR OLD PONTIAC HAS HAD IT,.. I THINK YOU GUYS KNOW THIS AT THE BEGINING BUT YOU JUST WANT TO GIVE US A GREAT SHOW AND SAY YOU CAN DO THIS HARD WORK TO.. IT GIVES ME THE PLEASURE WATCHING HOW YOU CARE FOR OLD CARS LIKE I DO FOR OLD CARS.. SHALOM,, YADABYE!!!!!!
Good to see multiple countries view. God bless ) mick Australia
Oh how these videos brings back so many great memories. I loved to do this with every ounce of passion in my body. From piles of rusty medal to a beautiful vehicle that ran down the road drawing stares, smiles and even applause from crowds of onlookers. The mind still has the want to, but the body let's me know very quickly it can't happen again. However nothing can take away the memories of those beautiful cars we produced still running today, even though most are sitting in some one s garage only to be taken out on very special occasions. Oh how I loves those days, and thank you for sharing these videos with us.
Bless your souls every piece of old iron saved from a mass of leaves and vines is a solid save.....she is in bad shape but at least she isn't sitting there anymore .....it will be interesting to see what becomes of her . Great job guys !!
Save the bumpers and all the trim, they are like gold to a collector.
Keep up the good work guys
Appreciate your prayer.... Good to see a real man in these days we are living in 😊... God bless you
I don't think you need to bury it any longer ! Be cool to see if it would run though !
That prayer at the beginning guys... 👍. I know it's older but another great video. Major blessing to all of you. Rock on
I think the Pontiac Catalina is an awesome car whether it's a 4 door or not. I dig the the front end look. It's a cool car. I would like to see it turn over, I've seen you unlock a block. That car is cool 😎.
Years ago...I was called to a scene (I was a medic) where a guy was towing a car out of the woods...the cable snapped, whipped back, and almost cut him in half. He died on scene. Boys, you have to practice better safety...please!
keep up the hard work love the content GOD Bless yall
Love you start the videos with praise and glory to the Father. Keep making the videos. Love them
Great video glad you posted keep them coming thanks
Definitely try to get it running! And God willing it shall in Jesus name!!!
mucho trabajo pero el resultado sera el mejor porque es un muy bonito carro Dios los bendiga
I was shocked when i heard the 🙏 before yall started working on the car. Subscribe right after the prayer. God bless you both
Just get the engine and drivetrain rebuilt/repaired, put bench seat and back seat off donor car (newer model of whatever) use black Astroturf for headliner and floor, only knock off the big rust on exterior. Drive it like the rat rod it would be!
Y'all really are good at this stuff. I grew up on cars ,had many of adventures and fond memories. I used to scrap alot of stuff I'd love to have today. I had an old 78 Chevy wrecker and I'd get anything, any vehicle and I was kinda known for it. I'd cut down trees jack em up best the tires down with tire hammer and spoons whatever it took. My point is I eventually put together an assortment of different tools for the trade. Rakes, shovels, handy man jack and chain cum alongs generator and a torch. I can tell you every wheel that will interchange with what. Great job ,I'm really starting to dig y'all's videos
To be honest with you I felt like a fella could could strip that car down and completely rebuild it and make it into a nice looking hot rod. Plus beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
One of my favourite cars along with the Parisienne. Beautiful in their day!
I'd be curious to see if you can get the engine unstuck.
My aunt bought a 1964 Catalina 4 door she let me drive it to my senior prom in 1966 it was a beautiful car easyest car to drive I ever drove. I wish I had it now.
Always good seeing you guys pickin a car up! I would just sell this on to a collector that might save some spares off it! looks too rough to do anythiing with it!
on to the next! :)
New listener/watcher... love the prayer at the beginning! Thank you!
Honestly ive seen cars this far gone rust wise put back in shape with lots of sheet aluminum, pop rivets, bondo and fiberglass. You'd never know that rain gutter was fiberglass so skillfully shaped or that the perfect crease along the fender is bondo.
it's all fun and games until the rust shows up again...
Awww.........that was my first car. My parents bought it used for $600. Sadly I drove it into the ground (I was 16)- but I always wanted to keep it because it was so beautiful. Thanks for saving this one. It's still a beauty.
No waste time. God bless. Mary Xmas. Mick Australia ))
Fill that 389 V8 with some marvel mystery oil and let her soak a while. Then see if she'll free up and turn over. Is a shame the old girl is so rusted. Even the dash rusted away. These old Pontiacs had such beautiful interiors and body lines. My Grandparents owned a white 4 door post with red interior. They bought it new and ordered options such as a front power seat and air conditioning. They drove that car for years. Was a wonderful machine! Loved that old cruiser. God bless you guys!
389 cid,421cid,428cid were engine options for that year Pontiac Catalina, that engine is rough but rebuildable cause it's probably still stock, and worth money to the right old school motor head,my brother had a 60 something big block Pontiac back in the day that would literally fry the back tires,it was scary fast for the time.
I hear ya. Pontiacs are fun to build because not many build them.
Oh, by the way, Pontiac only made one size block. Just saying.
@@jhutch1470 yes sir, seems like they changed the bore, stroke, and maby valve size to change the cubic inch displacement, like small block chevy,it's been a long time and ive forgotten some of what little i knew, remember when you could still find those Chrysler Hemmi in old junk yards in old 4 door and station wagon cars ?,the old days,we weren't worried about cruise control or creature comforts or gas mileage,we just wanted big engines that went fast,a long time ago.
Try to get the engine to turn over. That would be a heckuva challenge!
Well that one definitely has more rust then good parts to it. But would like to see more if you decided too! Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend and Merry Christmas 👍🎅
That Ole Girl was beautiful in her day. Nice to see y’all. Looking forward to next video. Merry Christmas from California to Bogata, Texas.
