Joelle is the perfect example of all talk and no action. Years ago, I used to work for a boss who was tough on me. When she didn't think I was pulling in my weight, she accused me of being weak. I was feeling so down and one day I shouted, "I am NOT weak!" She then shouted back, "then PROVE IT! Stop telling me that you're not weak! I don't want to hear it! I want to SEE it, otherwise, you're only as good as you sound!", and she was right.
@@dynastywarriorlord07 even if you're over 200 lbs, 30 seconds isn't too much to ask for. Kristin outweighed Joelle by 100 lbs and even she was able to run. Joelle is just flat-out lazy.
It is when you aren’t used to it and you’re carrying extra weight. But we will give you a gold star because you can 15 minutes. Here are your flowers. 💐
I've had many training clients over the years and some of them have frustrated me beyond belief, but never ONCE did I yell or curse at any of them. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I'll have 'come to Jesus meeting' with them if they're not giving me their full effort, consistently showing up late, or constantly cancelling at the last minute/no-showing, etc. If the issue doesn't improve within a couple of weeks, I will definitely "fire" them. I don't like taking their money AND wasting my time.
I had the same reaction as Tara when I first watched this episode. All seriousness though, I'm down from 245 to 199 in 6 months through hard work and determination. I did it in a sustainable way unlike the show though. I eat high protein foods and 1600-1800 calories daily. I make sure I keep an active lifestyle by hitting 10-15k steps daily even on rest days. I run 3 miles 3 days per week at 10:30-11 minute mile pace. I also lift doing full body routine 3 days per week and lift moderately heavy. I'm slowly easing in a 4th day of running per week now that my body has gotten used to running 3 days per week and I'm recovering fast. I also play Just Dance for 30-60 minutes for exercise almost daily, but it is because it is fun. My goal weight is 150-160. I'm 5'10" so that's why I'm still losing pretty easily on 1600-1800 calories without having to do extreme exercise. I still enjoy foods I crave in moderation. I just make sure half my plate is nonstarchy vegetables and that there is protein in my meal to keep me satiated. Starvation and overexercising for weightloss is not necessary. Losing 1-2 pounds per week is a good healthy loss and that's why I take issue with the Biggest Loser. It's not sustainable to eat only 1200-1800 calories and exercise hard 6-8 hours per day. That is why many of the contestants have gained their weight back and more. To clarify, I am very active with Just Dance and running because I work a full-time office job. I just walk on my lunch breaks and walk in my place my desk whenever the move bar appears on my Garmin.
i did a tabata workout on friday & my thighs were sore as hell yesterday. i dont have a scale so idk how much i weigh now but i lost 23 pounds & put on a pound of muscle a couple years ago
HAHAHAHAAAAA!!!. Gosh I forgot how hilarious this show was. I would watch this show with friends who loved it who would tear up, and im dying laughing watching all the drama. And they would get mad and say to me "Dont laugh!!!. You try living that way", and It would just make me laugh harder because they would make a funnier and longer speech to me each time that sounded like a monologue for theatre, hahahaha. And yes of course I lost it laughing. How can I not? It's sad these people are obese. But hey, they did it to themselves. They put themselves in this situation by eating constantly, and yet were supposed to feel bad? Come on. There's countries with starving kids, feel something for them more, they need help more. Thats something to feel sad about. Us feeling bad constantly for people who let themselves get gargantuan sitting there in tears saying "I just cant stop eating burgers" isn't going to help drip the butter off the biscuit. So how can I not laugh?. I cant help them. I can say only say "try a salad". Hahahaaaa.

What are we supposed to feel as the audience? Yes the health situation is horrible that these people are in. But hey, the tubby ones got themselves into that health situation. They did it to themselves. Even if the show becomes successful at making some tear up, how do our tears help? Does the publics tears help tubby ones melt the butter off the biscuit? I dont think so. Sympathy from people doesn't magically help you lose weight. Ha
When someone gotta blurt out think of us you know it's bad LOL

When Bob gets mad, he gets madder than Jillian.
Imagine him, Steve Wilkos, Jon Taffer, and Gordon Ramsey doing The Biggest Loser all together?
That’s just hell
Add Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms to the mix it would be a reality show match
That's a motivator
