Wow, you're so lucky to be able to return to Japan. I did not know it's still 10 hours away from Austraila - Sheesh! I thought it would be closer. My meal of choice if I get to go back to Japan will be...MOSBURGER - I absolutely LOVE IT!

Nice video. I had a similar experience. I'm a resident of Tokyo and went to the US for Christmas holiday last December. The entry process was fast and easy, lots of walking tho. I had my 2 suitcases sent to my apartment instead of dragging them around and I got them the next day. Can't wait to see what comes next.

Thanks for the info. Moving to Japan in a few weeks. I thought I was home free when I showed them my PCR test from home. Didn’t know I will have to take another test when I arrive.

It's good they streamlined the process! When I arrived in November 2021 it was triple the paperwork and there were 6 stations after landing you have to go through to hand in said paperwork and do PCR testing, and it was mandatory quarantine for 1-2 weeks based on vax.
Also, I'm glad they are still doing the PCR test on arrival, since being jabbed does not prevent transmission or infection with the current available mrna offerings.

Crazy it takes almost as long from germany to fly to japan (11:15) if i had to guess i'd say it would take like 4 hours from Australia 😅
First thing i'd like to eat would be Kōbe Beef, or some amazing Sushi from Tsukiji Market but to be honest i'd probably end up in 7/11 first 🤣
