@@karkoncierge7585 Carmax is better than most dealers because they actually give you a return window. They dont just sell "as-is" like 90 percent of car dealerships.
Yes because they make money on in house financing that there losing. They WANT you to finance and lease, not buy out entirely which 99% of ppl cant do.
I’ve e been doing the same thing lately going to dealerships to negotiate, talk numbers value and , I am learning so much if you did start a Chanel about car dealership negotiations I’d definitely support !
@@johnbriscoe8319 nah, its pretty common. Some dealership won't even sale the car to you if it's outside financing since technically on their end it would be a cash purchase so they cant get any kickbacks from financing
Buying a car from side dealers in the tri state is hell they love talking reconditioning fees and the cars got curb rash, bumpers misaligned etc like what ya reconditioning smh lol
You gotta go with a Credit Union and do business with them. I bought my Z performance but they were giving me 9.5% interest on a basically new car. Got 6.2 with my own financing which is still high but that interest difference is a $200+ monthly payment difference
The fact that the car had fees should have been the first reason to walk away. I’m not paying anything else other than the car price, taxes, doc reg& insp (I live in ny also). Normally in NY, doc is $175, reg $250, inspection $10 ($37 for used insp) . All the other “pre inspection” and “low jack” is bull. The thing that would have me laugh in their face is when they said they will charge $2800 if you use your own bank…. Huh. That’s very bold of them. This is a deal from a customer standpoint point, you always walk away from. Let alone this Mercedes already has 80k miles on it.
I brought my 2015 s 63 a year ago from Jacksonville Florida with executive & carbon fiber package, with 71k miles i drove it from Florida to Brooklyn best drive ever paid 45k no extra fees or nun of tht bs & i financed with my bank which is bank of America with 6.44% apr....Best car ever no problems..go for a s63 but not that 1, you should get every bells & whistle while buyin these cars ..
So you are going to finance a 7 year old German super car with 80K miles on it. Wow. If you cannot afford to pay cash, you cannot afford the car. There is a reason that the banks charge monster rates on deals like this. That car could very likely ruin you financially. Also, those are forged alloy wheels, very light and strong, you cannot just put a set of replicas on this car as most will bend on the first pothole because the car is so heavy. As for pads, if you get the car, I would go to Powerstop Z26 Ceramic pads. Zero dust and perform as good as OEM. The dealer saying he will do a pad swap without first measuring the rotors for minimum thickness tells me all I need to know about them. You can also get Brembo true 2 piece rotors for the W222 for around 1500 a pair. Rears are fine with the standard Brembo OEM S580 rotors for a few hundred bucks. Those wheels look so bad because they are filthy. Cleaned up and ceramic coated and I think you might like the look, calipers need a good cleaning too.
W 9% interest , and planning to keep it a 4 years ? That 58 sticker is actually nearly 70 or more fyi … that amg w now +100k miles won’t be worth that will it? Idk … really liked how this guy went about doing this tho. Take the trade in off if they wanna do the deal , then pay less down the more they unwilling to deal
buying a car is the most unfun/painful shit in the world
Bruh... I've chosen carmax for this reason alone even if the interest rate has been higher.

You lost me at 2800$$ 😂😂 for tryna finance through your own bank???

Don’t buy this car bro!! That price too high for the mileage
Take your benz trade it in in for a new m3 and put a roof rack if you need more space. 😭
every dealership i go to in nyc or jersey always has these gimmicky fees i live in connecticut i found my x5 out here no extra fees
I’ve e been doing the same thing lately going to dealerships to negotiate, talk numbers value and , I am learning so much if you did start a Chanel about car dealership negotiations I’d definitely support !
As soon as they started adding fees, you should have just walked right out, remember, they need to sell the car more than you need to buy a car
Wait wtf a $2800 fee for outside finance? When you get a loan on your own the cash is in your account its basically the same as paying cash.
Is this a Jersey thing?" Never experienced this.
