    Hey thanks for being transparent about the light.
    Some of the recent videos have seemed kinda like cringe. Kind of like the vibe you get while listening to an influencer promote an item.
    But I really appreciated this one. You praised the light for what it is truly good at while not ignoring its cons and overall you showed great knowledge about.
    This video felt like a true review rather than a marketing play.

    Mine gets delivered tomorrow! I can’t wait. I already have the mh12 pro, which is great for around the house and edc, but I needed something with a little more throw for my property so I can’t wait to get this one

    I have owned a Nitecore for about 10 years and it stays on my coyote hunting AR15. My hunting buddy was blown away when I turned on my light after he showed off his new “super light” and my throw lit up the forest about 400 yards away like it was daylight! Maybe I should get another one!

    • @NitecoreStore

      If I had to guess, I'd say because of the higher candela intensity and bigger reflector on the mh25 pro. Higher Candela=more power output

    I just got the MH12 Pro and it is nice. I do not like the new holsters though. It fits fine in the plastic holster from the MH12 which is what I put it in.
    The plastic holster allows quick access to the light and was one of the best things done for a holster.

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  Рік тому

      Yeah, I like the new nylon holster but I know that I might be in the minority on that and that's why I wanted to highlight it a little bit more in this video!

      In small and medium torches, the turbo function is a gimmick because the torch hasn't enough mass to dissipate all the heat which is generated. The thermal inertia of that little amount of metal only allows for half minute or so of "turbo".
      The 3300 Lumens are only for advertising and beam shots; the turbo mode is completely useless and detracts from the cycle life of the LED.

      @@rayoflight62I always say that a 1 inch diameter light should cap out at about 1800 for a high or turbo.. nobody needs a hand warmer or a light that can’t maintain its output.

    The lower power modes still seem pretty damn powerful, so I feel like this is a great way to use multiple brightnesses on a flashlight like this. Normally I hate that stuff, I either just want one level or two levels max, but this seems like a good setup. So that you can at least cycle through it quickly. I hope there's a way to just set a brightness tho. I hope I don't have to cycle through every level.
    Edit: oh thank god, it lets me select separate settings and then it also remembers them. that's great

      Howdy! I am assuming that you are talking about the NTH20, and in that case no, from our test the bell is pretty wide and while you could hypothetically carry it bezel up, I wouldn't feel comfortable saying it 'Fits', this extends to all of our plastic holsters. From my testing the 414 Nylon holster available on our website is the best fit if you are looking for something other than the included holster but because these lights are so new it might take a while for fitted holsters to be made.

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  Рік тому

      Well that depends on your needs, the SRT7i is more tactical with glass breakers and being a little more durable with the metal USBC cover, while the MH25 Pro is a little bit more every day carry as the UI is less ergonomic, and looses the glass breakers, but can get brighter and has the UHi40 LED along with the helpful battery indicators. So it really just depends on your needs!

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  Рік тому

      That really depends on your needs, The MH25 Pro throws farther and is brighter, however, it is more geared towards an EDC/Adventurer carry. The SRT7i is tactical with instant strobe and turbo, glass breakers, and stepless brightness, both are good long throw lights, it really just depends on your needs, hope this helps! 7:58 Bottom Left. Because of ATR, I try not to advertise hard and fast turbo times as it will really depend on where you use it, how long the light has already been on and other factors but the ballpark is roughly 30-45 seconds at room temperature.
