If there's one thing I like about the show it's that you eventually learn each of the characters are a product of their past traumas, and while they're still responsible for their actions you can understand how they ended up the way they did and feel sympathetic to them. In the early episodes of the show, it's very easy to judge them at face value and assume they're just bad people. The first flashback is a direct transition from Revs speaking modern-day into the past; wouldn’t make much sense to chop the scene up to put-at the very beginning of the video, with no context whatsoever-a clip where the Reverend starts mid-sentence. Then, at the end of the video, there would be a ten-second clip where the Reverend is cut off for no reason. The second flashback isn’t just Stephanie recollecting to herself like other characters sometimes do in the show; it’s her recounting the story to Orel, who reacts to it. Should OP have cut out all the flashbacks so you have a scene where Stephanie goes, “Well you see…” and then a hard cut and Orel is talking about events from five hours ago in this video?
absolutly insane how the first minute and a half have such depht, many essays could be writen dispite it being so short. This is my opnion one of the best culrtural works of art. Paradies of real life.
It's sad how little recognition art like this gets just because of the format used to tell the story- it's equal to any great literature, but it's clay-mation
You're a legend for this actually I've had the idea to rewatch the show like this foreeeever. Now I can without putting in the effort to re-arrange it myself god bless!
This was how I finally watched all of Moral Orel! Such a perfect way to watch the show. The way the scenes intertwined with Nature at the very end was wonderful to watch, well done!
The episodes about clay and bloeberta’s childhoods and marriage i watched while on shrooms and good fucking god i was not prepared for how fucked up clay’s childhood was
This was great. I've always wanted to watch a long run of moral oral to see it step-by-step evolving to what it has has become please bring us more like this. They're not only funny but eye-opening as well
This is an excellent video! Does anyone have an estimate on when the flashbacks in “CloseFace” probably take place? I’m not sure how old Stephanie is compared to Orel’s parents. My only guess is that they would take place after “Help” because Reverend Putty has a full head of hair and no glasses in “Help” and in “CloseFace” he has glasses and a combover.
5:26:54 dr pottershweel's glasses are put backwards in this scene, in every other appearance they sit properly on his face (examples 51:21 , 2:22:19 , 5:43:33 )
I should but it also shouldn't due to the fact that the back story is split into a few different parts that help lead the to the dance but yes because it a back story like bloberta and Clay's past
what a wonderful way to rewatch one of the best tv shows in a chronological order. You did wonderfully. I only ask because I'm curious, how come there's no Beforel Orel part?
Required viewing for anyone interested in animation/film students/animators and the whole clay nation. Flawless. Brilliant from the writing to the credits.
I haven’t seen anyone say this, but in the first ten minutes, a snippet of a song plays that says, “some things you’ll do for money, some you’ll do for fun, but the things you do for love are gonna come back to you one by one” and I personally see it as foreshadowing how Clay and Bloberta’s relationship goes throughout the series, especially since Bloberta got Clay into drinking in the first place and immediately called it filth and started cleaning, and also kind of tricked him into thinking she helped him, as well as tricking herself into thinking she helped somebody, all so she could get married like her friends did. Also, the “Why not” Bloberta says at the wedding before it cuts off to begin the series is the same as when she explains to Orel why she married Clay
This show got really fucked up in the third season, it was always about dark humor but in season three they got rid of the "humor" part and it was just... Dark
Reverend putty’s sermon about hope at the end was crazy. You can see the exact point at 6:59:36 when Orel realized god will always be there for him. That realization is probably the reason Orel is still Christian at the end of the show.
Clay was such a damn spoiled brat when he was young and he was partly in fault for his mother's death. The guy was sick from the beginning. This show Morel Orel was canceled because it hit too close to home for many people who experienced these situations on the show.
You clearly don't comprehend what clays backstory was, and it wasnt cancelled becaus eit hit too close to hoke but because the episode about thd three wkmen were too dark despjte the fact it showed great representation od womens reactions to traumatic sexual events

I don't think he ever wanted a woman I think he was gay from the star,t but betcause of his religion and 'social normalities' he thought he wanted a woman. Edit: upon rewatching his proposal IS also on the cusp of his first hangover and she was basically his ice packs
orel really went through church withdrawals
Ah, no Beforel Orel. I get why, though. I get the feeling Warner is a little more protective of that one.
I hate copyright claims sometimes.
Which is weird. Thats one of the best episodes but come on. it's not like it's a whole movie.
Despite the Closeface blunder, the Nature and Finale sequence is really well done. Congratulations on the effort!
9/10, could of had the special after the marriage but otherwise WHAT ... oh my god thank you
I thought that too! Beforel Orel definitely should've been after Help
Apparently copyright issues got to it
holy damn, im guessing that was very long to make. Good job!
Thank you! It took about 3 weeks but it was a lot of fun
absolutly insane how the first minute and a half have such depht, many essays could be writen dispite it being so short. This is my opnion one of the best culrtural works of art. Paradies of real life.
It's sad how little recognition art like this gets just because of the format used to tell the story- it's equal to any great literature, but it's clay-mation
Oh my God, I have been having a stressful, and this is exactly what I needed. Thank you so much for this
This show makws me feel stress
I don’t recall seeing this first(?) episode (Clay’s backstory). Her last name “Hymentact” was a scream! 😂
Yeah this was my first time seeing that to , I believe.
Oooof 😂
man, this show hits so hard, even on a second rewatch with this chronological format. Oral is such a good kid, damn. God is
You're a legend for this actually I've had the idea to rewatch the show like this foreeeever. Now I can without putting in the effort to re-arrange it myself god bless!
This was how I finally watched all of Moral Orel! Such a perfect way to watch the show. The way the scenes intertwined with Nature at the very end was wonderful to watch, well done!
"Dad?"
"...where?"
"..."
"I mean, here for ya!"
The episodes about clay and bloeberta’s childhoods and marriage i watched while on shrooms and good fucking god i was not prepared for how fucked up clay’s childhood was
30:15 OMG, that is the Tina's twin sister? She really died like Dotty wished in 29:30
Who ever made this thank you
*lois voice* whoever you are, thank you
This was great. I've always wanted to watch a long run of moral oral to see it step-by-step evolving to what it has has become please bring us more like this. They're not only funny but eye-opening as well
BUUURRN IN HEAVEN BUUURN IN HEAVEN
Reminded me of the people under the stairs (great movie btw) burn in hell!!!
4:59:39 the way it just cuts him to smoking a cig is a class act.
43:31 use this to skip god's chef
tysm i really dont like that episode
You deserve an award for this
TYYYYYY
someone is trying to play victim
@@greed42o ?
This is an excellent video! Does anyone have an estimate on when the flashbacks in “CloseFace” probably take place? I’m not sure how old Stephanie is compared to Orel’s parents. My only guess is that they would take place after “Help” because Reverend Putty has a full head of hair and no glasses in “Help” and in “CloseFace” he has glasses and a combover.
Having everything in order, and i mean (nearly) everything, changes the feeling of seasons one and two drastically
the one million years later bit was perfect that was the icing on the cake
I knew they would do that too which made me happy when they did lol
Closeface to No Children hit like a sack of bricks
I watched the whole thing over the course of three days
I gotta say, seeing clips of Alone interspersed with the school play lightens the mood SO much
If season 4 and 5 were made it wouldve been longer
That’s how media works
if there were more episodes there would be more episodes
Most citizen of Moralton type comment ever
Morel oral reboot/sequel when???????
Beautiful isnt it
This is an absolutely masterful compilation of the series.
Oh my god how did it take me this long to realize that Clay was begging for Rod, the doctor and the cop to hit him because of his dad😭
You’ve just made my night! Time to rewatch for the millionth time!
i really like the reverend and stephanies talk in the truck 😢
I swear I haven’t seen some of the scenes in here. I have absolutely no memory of the reverend driving off his car are some of these deleted scenes
I really liked the episode Sundays and wanted to see this like this, with the events placed in their chronological order within the show.
I'm gonna have fun binge watching this
The lost 29th commandment: “Everything’s fine. *whistle* 🎶🎵🎶
I love how this show is not sugar coated really shows human nature
What a great show, how i didn't stumble on it before, and thanks for uploading it 👍
5:26:54 dr pottershweel's glasses are put backwards in this scene, in every other appearance they sit properly on his face (examples 51:21 , 2:22:19 , 5:43:33 )
Clay was a horrible father, husband and Mayor smh.
You forgot the episode with the grandpa. That one was supposed to be after Bloberta's backstory
Shouldn't Stephanie's backstory at 6:00:32 be placed all the way somewhere in the beginning?
I should but it also shouldn't due to the fact that the back story is split into a few different parts that help lead the to the dance but yes because it a back story like bloberta and Clay's past
I wish they continued the series. I was getting good
Thank you for this
what a wonderful way to rewatch one of the best tv shows in a chronological order. You did wonderfully. I only ask because I'm curious, how come there's no Beforel Orel part?
copyright doesn't let ppl upload beforel orel
Required viewing for anyone interested in animation/film students/animators and the whole clay nation. Flawless. Brilliant from the writing to the credits.
The " You can play whit this in the grass bit dooooooon't spill it" lolol I have a 2 years old and reverse psychology is my best ally.
Watching this after the unpacking of moral orel hits diff
god i love this show, thank you for this!
I've been waiting for this put together for a long time, lol.
Moral Orel and the mountain goats are my favs
6:30:33 the voice acting here is phenomenal
48:14 Time stamp reminder
55:00 Another good moment
2:34:35 poor Orel 😢
3:59:40
5:12:44 iconic
this is gonna blow up one day
I haven’t seen anyone say this, but in the first ten minutes, a snippet of a song plays that says, “some things you’ll do for money, some you’ll do for fun, but the things you do for love are gonna come back to you one by one” and I personally see it as foreshadowing how Clay and Bloberta’s relationship goes throughout the series, especially since Bloberta got Clay into drinking in the first place and immediately called it filth and started cleaning, and also kind of tricked him into thinking she helped him, as well as tricking herself into thinking she helped somebody, all so she could get married like her friends did.
Also, the “Why not” Bloberta says at the wedding before it cuts off to begin the series is the same as when she explains to Orel why she married Clay
Im glad oral was able to break the generational trauma.
This show got really fucked up in the third season, it was always about dark humor but in season three they got rid of the "humor" part and it was just... Dark
my favourite part will always be the like 10 minute monologue starting at 7:00:05
It was glorious, thank you. This is a true masterpiece.
Thank you scuba Steve I've now got a new video to add to my night Playlist to go to bed 👏
Wow these do get progressively more disturbing
I watch this video on a regular basis to sleep. Thank you very much
awesome.. I love this cartoon so much .. thanks for sharing
I really appreciate what you did with this show it was easily my favorite, so much to learn about religion and yourself!
Remove the christian part, keep the miserable and the alchoholic part, then you have my dad 💀
Same
Reverend putty’s sermon about hope at the end was crazy. You can see the exact point at 6:59:36 when Orel realized god will always be there for him. That realization is probably the reason Orel is still Christian at the end of the show.
Aw man what about Beforel Orel?
Copyright issue, here's an answer if it's on the video.
@@nas0518 that’s exactly why. Kinda weird considering the entire series is on yt
