I was wondering if anyone ever tried making a compilation of each moment in chronological order. I finished a Moral Orel rewatch recently, but I really wanna watch through this all just to see how it feels
This is the closes weve gotten with a chronological order ngl. But there are a bunch of spot in the episodes that are chronologically earier. Idk someone should do it thoo

Probably the best way to watch it after your first watch. The first time you have to watch it in the season order so the wool slowly gets pulled away from your eyes just like your orel growing up, but on rewatch you've already seen moralton for the cess pool it is

I love how Orel didn't lose his faith as he grew older. Atheism is neither seen as a bad thing or a good thing in this show which is both extremely surprising and refreshing. Heck even his notoriously skeptical grandfather refound the good word because of Orel's faith.

"15 years ago" etc.) you can find a video that has the thumbnail "CAN YOU WATCH ALL 7+ HOURS?" it's called Every Episode Of Moral Orel In One Video or something but it is missing S2E3 and the songs are muted due to copyright. Instead, you can find playlist with every episode including most of the songs by just searching Moral Orel full series on UA-cam but the episode "Satan" is missing so find out what season and episode it is (I forgot) and watch it on UA-cam (after the episode that comes before it obviously) seperately to the playlist. Anyway this video has every episode but there is a mistake where one of them isn't in chronological order but the rest of the video is very well researched and edited so that it's in chronological order :))

If there's one thing I like about the show it's that you eventually learn each of the characters are a product of their past traumas, and while they're still responsible for their actions you can understand how they ended up the way they did and feel sympathetic to them. In the early episodes of the show, it's very easy to judge them at face value and assume they're just bad people. But really they're broken people straining to deal with the weight of their emotional burdens. It's true for people in real life as well, but unfortunately there's no convenient flashback to explain everything to us, so it's much easier to judge and assume. There's always a temptation to seek someone to blame because it's comforting and self serving. Most people have a good reason for being the way they are and believing what they believe.
If I had the power to pin this, I would... Then I'd put it on billboards! That is so very true and not many people realize that about themselves and others. Good work. 👏🏻
I remember getting critiqued by peers for liking this show. But even though I didn't get the whole picture watching it sporadically back then, I felt that the humor, as dark as it is, was telling a great moral story(no pun intended). Funny how some of the darkest humor reflects the most relatable aspects of life

This is an excellent video! Does anyone have an estimate on when the flashbacks in “CloseFace” probably take place? I’m not sure how old Stephanie is compared to Orel’s parents. My only guess is that they would take place after “Help” because Reverend Putty has a full head of hair and no glasses in “Help” and in “CloseFace” he has glasses and a combover.

I haven’t seen anyone say this, but in the first ten minutes, a snippet of a song plays that says, “some things you’ll do for money, some you’ll do for fun, but the things you do for love are gonna come back to you one by one” and I personally see it as foreshadowing how Clay and Bloberta’s relationship goes throughout the series, especially since Bloberta got Clay into drinking in the first place and immediately called it filth and started cleaning, and also kind of tricked him into thinking she helped him, as well as tricking herself into thinking she helped somebody, all so she could get married like her friends did. Also, the “Why not” Bloberta says at the wedding before it cuts off to begin the series is the same as when she explains to Orel why she married Clay

I haven’t seen anyone say this, but in the first ten minutes, a snippet of a song plays that says, “some things you’ll do for money, some you’ll do for fun, but the things you do for love are gonna come back to you one by one” and I personally see it as foreshadowing how Clay and Bloberta’s relationship goes throughout the series, especially since Bloberta got Clay into drinking in the first place and immediately called it filth and started cleaning, and also kind of tricked him into thinking she helped him, as well as tricking herself into thinking she helped somebody, all so she could get married like her friends did.
Also, the “Why not” Bloberta says at the wedding before it cuts off to begin the series is the same as when she explains to Orel why she married Clay
It was glorious, thank you. This is a true masterpiece.
