A trailing stop is designed to protect gains by enabling a trade to remain open and continue to profit as long as the price is moving in the investor’s favor. The order closes the trade if the price changes direction by a specified percentage or dollar amount

Wow this video is pure gold, I wish I had seen it before losing so much, first minutes of your video described me, first trade I lost I started revenge trading trying to recover that money but just ended up losing more, and by the 4th trade I was afraid to take the trade and I ended up missing a winning trade, I figured out that my mistake was as you said, risking so much per trade, and not having a full strategy, not seeing the right stop loss... breaking my own rules... I started analyzing my mistakes and learn from them... you couldn't have said everything better, your are very inspiring and I am have to have discovered your channel

I love how you breakdown the three thing that can happen on any trade. The stop loss , the breakeven stop, and the big winner or trailing stop. I always cut my winners way too soon. This type of strategy way too soon basically. Not taking the big winner is a guaranteed recipe for disaster and breakeven results at best. Emotional disciple is key. Beautiful video. Thank you for the visual diagram of the 3 things that can occur from the same type of setup.

Good video - I do disagree with your statement "you have to risk the same amount every trade". I used to do that. Now I decide in advance if I am risking 1/2R, 1R, or up to 2R. This depends on the setup, the risk reward, and the win rate % on that setup. I don't think every trade deserves the same amount of risk.
i agree but most new traders are not that advance yet so im trying to keep simple for them.. thanks for watching..

Bruh. All this time I've been listening to the strategies, I always thought "lock in your profits" ment moving the stop loss to break even. I didn't know you could move your stop loss above your entry once price has passed it. I feel goofy for not paying attention fully. I missed out on profits because, I thought I was making the right decision in a few of my trades. Thanks for the gems as always good brotha.

This guy is so right I usually make good trades but I sometimes I don't follow my stop loss rules and a lot of profit goes away fast. This really helps me to follow the damn rules it's the only way to make it day trading.

Good video brother Day Trading Addict. Love the transparency of day trading that you explain in a way that makes sense. I'm former drug dealer turned trader/investor. I took my mentality from the drug game to the stock market and I made my first investment and trade. I had my share of losses but I kept trading until I become profitable. It took me a year to learn how to trade, I'm guilty of holding the bag but I learn to cut my losses quickly. Thanks for the video👍

Hey man, I’m fairly new to the trading world (about a year and a half) I have been profitable consistently now for about four months, However - I only started with 3,500. Went all the way down to 1,000 now at 9,000 in my trading account. I feel like the PDT rule really hurts my ability to make real money consistently. Do you have any advice for someone like me to make the most of my three day trades. I feel when I get to 25,000 it will greatly change the way I’m able to trade. Thanks in advance man.
