Mmyeah, I didn't care much for Rossum's portrayal of Christine in the movie. Seemed too much like she wanted to jump Erik's bones every time they were together. Thus... gestures

XD XD XD That is sooo hilarious! Thank you so much for doing this! Heh... Frank's voice is perfect... ;-)
Wow. hahahahahahha. Nicely done. That song made loads more sense like this. Love it!!!!
"Creature of the Night" indeed!
I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!!
Amen to that!
To offer an explanation re: your comment about Christine's feelings toward Phantom. Joel Schmacher, the director, wanted the movie to be sexy to attract a younger audience. The way he explains it, the Phantom has Christine under his spell -- almost hypnotized. That accounts for her trance like state when she is in his presence and that romantic pull towards him every time she sees him. In the Phantom's mind it is really the only way he has any hopes of keeping Christine to himself.
oh my god i was hoping for this
Love it!
Amen to that, dracerick.
Erik was only old enough to be Christine's father because he was really old. xD She was supposed to be 20 or so and he was in his late-forties/early-fifties. But they cast a younger Erik so they had to cast an even younger Christine to keep that dynamic.
The first idea of A.L.Webber was to create "Phantom" in a Rocky Horror style. An NOW i realise WHY:)))))))))))))
Ker duh! I agree with that.
Eh, it was just because of how their voices sounded for those particular lines. Rocky kinda screams his, whereas Frank has more of seductive drawl. The latter just kinda sounded more like Gerik to me in context. xD
Well, people have different tastes. *shrug* I'll agree that Butler did make a sexeh Phantom, though.
lmao touch me
When I saw the movie I was so transfixed by GB's Phantom I would have made a convincing Christine. I, obviously, missed the ham-handedness of Schumacher's direction and Emmy's poor acting. In all fairness to Emmy maybe as Christine she was both entranced and horny or maybe GB had such an effect on her in real life, she fell victim to his charms and it came thru in her performance.
Oh I know. xP I know WHY he did it, I just think that was a stupid idea on Schumacher's part. Some people liked it, but I found his execution ham-handed and unsubtle, and it was only exacerbated by what I see as Emmy Rossum's poor acting. She comes off as desperately horny rather than entranced.
i love GB as the phantom..but emmy i dislike too..she can´t act and her singing voice...well its good..but there are so many other young women, having so much more beauty and innocence in her voice...christine is really in this version a way to young ;) she had to be 19 or 20..but with 16 O.o she is a child.., not a woman, who can be really attractive for an 36-old man XD
