    Derek, thank you for finally coming around. Dominguez needs to be on this team. He could easily start 4 out of every 6 games just by rotating rest days between Judge, Soto, Stanton and Verdugo. All it would take is for them each to take one off day per week. He can also pinch hit on days that he doesn't start. Right now the Yankees biggest weakness is there bench. If you add Dominguez to the mix every night you'll have an option for a pinch hitter that can change the game.

      I kind of agree only thing is they can’t let these players rest all the time it’ll take away there chances to work on consistent swings meaning they might swing more with less at bats also mental games though the Juan Soto new arm injury those ring alarm that rest may be needed

      I also think Dominguez needs everyday games triple a gives him that so let him work out the kinks so that when he does come to the big leagues your not worried about who’s throwing to him

    Hal is telling us Yankees fans, don’t get your hopes up on Soto. These contracts are ridiculous, and I totally understand why Hal said what he said.

    You were right about the 20 hr and hit on your multi hr bet as well even if it was a week later. On a related note, the Yanks are the first to 20 road wins and are 41 % done with road games before June baseball has begun.
    Hopefully we get to hear some terrence kehm tales from the games

      I was a day early, I predicted 2 hr for judge in the final game against the padres. Something wrong with my Time Machine.

    Ryan McMahon would look awfully good at either corner, especially at first over Rizz right now, but this is the only season he's had an OPS+ over 100 and he plays half of his games in Coors. He's also making decent coin through 2027.

    I agree I think it’s too early to be active in the trade market. If DJ can be that contact hitter with a good OBP, he’s defensively very solid. Rizzo is a question mark for sure but I don’t see them moving him really. Gleybar I agree the Yankees will keep him and then move on. Probably will start to see his time cut significantly and platoon with Oswaldo.

      DJ hasn't been good in like 2 years man.. I am happy he is healthy but he is going to be doing anything for us that we weren't getting already

    Gleyber has been much better since a few weeks after he got hit in the hand, probably healed up after then and if you're complaining about Rizzo who was 7 hitter the other day and the 6th, 7th 8th bullpen arms lol you're spoiled.

    It's only a matter of time before there's a hard salary cap and floor. It's really the only way to run a legitimate billion dollar sport. It would also bring tens of millions of fans back to the sport. A lot of fans have no reason to support their team because they have no chance to actually contend under the current payroll system. The players will make more money overall, MLB will make a lot more money and there will be even more parity, which makes the sport more interesting. There's no down side to implementing a hard salary cap and floor.

    • @krazyfan2000
      @krazyfan2000 26 днів тому +2

      That's never happening in Baseball.

    • @brandondillman5841
      @brandondillman5841 26 днів тому

      @@krazyfan2000 Most owners and fans already want it. Once the players understand it'll mean more money for them it'll happen. Can't run a sport of this caliber and not have a hard cap and floor. Not if they want to be taken seriously anyways. Plus, money always wins out. Implementing a cap will likely increase revenues league wide by tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars. The biggest obstacle has always been the regional sports networks, but they're all collapsing and going bankrupt now. Just a matter of time.

    Lemahieu is our new Josh Donaldson. Boone will give him a waaaaay too long chance to get it together. In.my view, it's going to be like trying to get blood from a stone.

    If the Yankees don’t sign Soto I will no longer support this team and give money to this organization. You are one of the most wealthy sports teams on the planet make the darn deal.

      Here's a response you can use:
      ---
      Hey @kylepatrick5135, I understand your frustration. Being a fan can be tough, especially when you feel like your team isn't making the moves you'd like to see. But being a true fan means supporting your team through thick and thin, not just when things go your way. The Yankees have a long history of making smart decisions for the long-term success of the team. Let's trust the process and continue to support our guys on the field.
