I had to drive elsewhere as soon as I left the park! If the parking hadn’t been free, I definitely would have walked instead. I also had anything I might need during the day in the trunk, so it was more convenient
@@ThemeParkTeeroy You don’t have to explain yourself. I didn’t want to make fun of you. Sorry! You made a great video and really captured to the essence of the park. I live not far from there and I’m glad you enjoyed it. The special thing about Tripsdrill is, that the old looking buildings there are an actual old village and the houses really are hundreds of years old. The theme park started with the miller of the village installing the long slide you took almost a hundred years ago. The fact that the park just organically grew from there makes it special to me. It just naturally sits in the beautiful surroundings.
No worries! And it really does feel so authentic walking through Tripsdrill, its location is incredible and it really is one of the most beautiful theme parks out there. I can't wait to return some day!
As a German who lives "near" Tripdrill and when i was younger actually had a Season Ticket for some time, i never thought i would see it one day in an American UA-cam Video 😅
Same. It also makes me realise how much "new" stuff is there since the last time I've been there was probably 20 years ago. I remember riding the Wilde Maus as my first non-kiddy coaster ever when I was a kid, with two strangers I adopted as parents for the ride, and the castle was still under construction.
I still remember it from my childhood some 30 years ago. Back then there has been only one rollercoaster, Rasender Tausendfüßler, and it had massive lines. Last time I went there they had the newly built rapids, everything else came later. When I was 9 we switched to Europa-Park, which of course is the far superior park, and has been even more so back then. Tripsdrill has been great as a little child, but once you developed an appreciation for mor thrilling rides it couldn't keep up. Nice to see that changed quite a bit. By the way, I even remember the old entrance, which was right next to the windmill. You had to leave the park back then in order to get to the windmill slide and the surrounding attractions. And this has also been where the train used to depart, taking you over to the little zoo. But back then it wasn't a resort, you couldn't sleep there.
Back in the day you couldnt really notice, that it is a Themepark. A lot of trees and no really high buildings. Now its obvios but they do their very beat to blend everything in. Even form the Michaelsberg, the hill nearby with the church ontop, it does not really look like a park. We (local population) are very happy about the park beeing kept traditional and family friendly like that. It really gives you very homelike vibes and its not ruined by over-commercialisation.
Second fun fact: There is a old landy, which found out, riding the rollercoaster cures here backpain. So shes there nearly every day for several hours to take rides. She got thousands of rides on the big ones. Everyone working there knows here and she even got gifted a rolling walker by the park. She also has priority at the rides and can go as often as she wants without waiting in the line.
American lawyer in German Court: “My client sustained an injury to his hand whilst riding the rollercoaster because it was too close to the ground” German Judge: “why did he not keep his hands inside the carriage”? Lawyer: “to have fun”? Judge: Next time he has less fun. Next!
Oh my god, finally Tripdrill is getting the recognition it deserves, it’s such a fun insight into the culture of that area! 😍 but I’m sad you didn’t see (or included) the guy who spits on you for disturbing his time on the toilet lol
In case people see this and wonder what the names mean, here are the translations: 5:39 "Hals-über-Kopf" (Head-over-heels) 7:09 "Volldampf" (Full steam ahead) 9:21 "Rasender Tausendfüßler (Racing millipede) 11:05 "G'sengte Sau" (It's an idiom for someone who speeds like hell, literal translation would be "singed sow") 12:22 "Mammut" (Mammoth, like he said hahaha) 13:34 "Karacho" (A word for high speeds, pronounced "Car-uh-hoe") 16:09 "Waschzuber-rafting" (not marked in the video, had to look it up, Waschzuber is a type of washingtub) 16:44 "Badewannen-Fahrt zum Jungbrunnen" (Bathtubride to the fountain of youth) 18:10 "Mühlbach-Fahrt" (Mühlbach-ride, pronounced "Mewl-bukh") Rapid fire round: 18:25 The sign says "Ohn' Weib ist kein Freud ganz" (Without a woman no joy is whole) 18:50 The sign in the toad says "Fehlanzeige" (Error-message) 19:02 "Vogelhochzeit" (Bird's wedding)
In case you didn't find out by now: "Jungbrunnen" means "fountain of youth". So what you saw in there were old women bathing in the water of the fountain to get young again. This theme resonates with the big slide you rode down on the carpet, the "Altweibermühle", the by far oldest attraction of this theme park, where it all started many decades ago: It was said that if old women rode that slide, they would feel young again at the end.
A lot of the theming is based on swabian myths like Hals über Kopf (7 Swabians), Volldampf ( swabian express - it’s a known song „uff dr schwäbische eisenbahn“), the flying carousel ( Tailor of Ulm)…
@@danielsch.6463 They play that song on the Volldampf, so it's hard to miss that one... if you understand at least some words of the swabian language. :D
Childhood memory unlocked. Back in my days there were only a couple of basic rides, but the petting zoo was amazing. They had lots of baby rabbits. If you want to visit the 'best' and biggest parks, go to Europa Park in Rust and Heidepark in Soltau. By the way "Rasender Tausendfüßler" means "racing centipede" in english.
And as if a zoo and an amusement park weren't enough, there is also a wine tasting area. For years, you could also get an exclusive glass there. My father still had his from many years ago. Tripsdrill does a lot of things right, especially with its small roller coasters, which nevertheless have a lot to offer, like Karacho. The landscape is also incredibly idyllic.
Visited the park every year with my parents when I was a kid (with Tausendfüßler as the only coaster). I also remember the sign "Vorsicht vor den frechen Ziegen " (Beware of the cheeky goats) in the zoo area - and of course the goats fighting for food. Love the integration of the rides in nature, especially the wild mouse one (Gesengte Sau) with the castle. Thanks for the nice overview of all the new rides (and Lava Reef Zone music), I'll definitely go as I actually don't live far away.
You'll never find such ground-level rides in the USA, as the operators would quickly be sued by people wondering why they suddenly have red welts on their hands because they touched a nearby branch or even the ground.
@@nutzeeer Not really. According to German law, the operator must have done everything possible in advance to avoid (unforeseeable) accidents. That's why regulations in Germany are much stricter than in the USA, for example, where the motto tends to be: The operator only has to follow certain rules, but if something happens, the visitor can always make absurd claims for compensation if he suffers damage... It is therefore in the operator's own interest to avoid accidents. In Germany, it's exactly the opposite. The regulations are extremely tight and strict and checks must be carried out and recorded at all times, because if something does happen, the first thing that is checked is WHAT caused it. If it is then established that the guest was an idiot, then there are no (or only very small) claims for compensation. Let's assume that our UA-camr here sprained his hand trying to touch the ground while riding the rollercoaster and is now suing the park. In Germany, experts or the court would first check whether the park complies with the regulations. And then whether the guest was negligent. Because the motto here is: An adult is an adult and should also take responsibility for his own (stupid) actions Now let's assume that the court is of the opinion that the guest is only partly to blame, then the park could indeed be liable for damages... but the sum would be ridiculously low compared to the USA. Perhaps a few thousand euros, if that. It would then be examined whether there is a fundamental problem here and whether the regulations need to be adjusted or the operator needs to adjust the ride operation... or whether this is an "idiotic" individual case.
@@ulliulliYou're right, but the biggest difference is, that you can't sue for "emotional damage" but only "Schadensersatz" and that needs to be some concrete number of actual financial damage
Fun fact: Every year in tve offseason, there is a big event where you can donate blood on the parkinglot. In reward you get a free ticket. Many dont use it tho, they just want to donate blood. So as a local you can ask around family and friends near the end of the season if someone still got some free tickets they wont use (You can only use them in the same year). So chances are high you get a free visit every year in fall 😂.
hands down THE BEST theme park :-D!!! I live very close to it and my family and I visit the park multiple times a year, I love it!! The creepy animatronics are my absolute highlight :-D
Buddy was there anmd came back hyped. This is the most "German" Park you can get to - as it is modestly priced, family-friendly and not aiming for the "best, biggest, fastest, highest" Thing rather than offering a well-rounded and complete fun experience for everyone (at least the ones who do not want to have the biggest, highest, fastest, best"). Buddy (Single Dad) was most impressed by the parts you can retreat to and "come down and relax" and the modest, family-friendly pricing (for a Theme Park).
Love it there! I was there for like 30 times since I was a child, it’s my favorite theme park and the little details and the Humor stands out for me! Also the fact that everything’s so perfectly embedded in nature and it’s full of character. Made with love perfectly fits. Glad you liked it!
its so weird seeing people from all over the world visiting this little theme park^^ even if you can understand german, you probably won't understand the swabian dialect the animatronics are speaking
I know Tripsdrill since i was a little boy. In those days the only rides where the slide you did on that doormat "Altweibermühle" and the newer "Altmännermühle" you showed at the end, where you balance on spinning and wobbeling things. That was it. My favorite attraction was a trashbin, that sucked in the trash by a vavuum, thanking you for feeding it. That last thing i haven't found at my last visit a few years ago. The other two obviously are integrated in the modern park. It also has preserved that quirky suebian charme (Schwaben we call ourselves) you still can find all around in central Baden Württemberg south and north of Stuttgart. I went there from my new home im Hessen to visit my old homestead with my family. Haven't been there some decades. This year we will return to the park for my kids love it and so do i. Thanks for your impressions and i'm happy you enjoyed it.
Same for me. I grew up in Stuttgart and we where at Tripsdrill a few times in the 90s. I think the last time was when Waschzuber Rafting was new. So after nearly 30 years, it looks amazing what they have done with the park. Need to go there soon
@@Rio_1111 Cool. I will have a look for it in 2 months then. Must have missed it last time. Maybe my memory tricked me about that talking thing, cause we also have been in BlüBa Märchenland a few times. So it could have mixed up in my childs brain.
@@Rio_1111 Update: I have been there at October 21. Don't know why i missed the traqshbin the last time, but maybe because of the sad circumstances 3 years ago. A close family member has died a few days before, but we didn't want the kids to have two reasons to be sad. This time we all where cheerful and it was a happy time in a not so crowded park. I found the trashbin and it didn't talk at 11 AM. But it talked at 15 PM! So it was real, and you still can listen to it, while it sucks up your trash with red cheeks. Thanks for your info!
Used to go there every other year with my family when i was a child. I remember riding the mammut when it was brand new. The free fall tower with that puppet hanging there also brings back alot of memories for me. Great video
13:00 Mammoth used to be faster and more forceful, last row is very rough nowadays which seems to slow it down. it used to be smooth and more forceful when it was new.
Was there a few times as a kid - the last time "Waschzuber-Rafting" was brand new. Insane how many more rides there are now 😳. The first time we were there it was pouring with rain when we drove off, but the bus was chartered for that day so we went anyways. Shortly after we arrived the rain stopped, leaving us with a very empty park. They had opened the short way to cue for the rides. So we found out if you ran once you got out of the "Tausendfüßler", you could catch the very next ride. Did like 10 laps Back-to-Back 😄
I loved Tripsdrill when I was a kid. Unfortunately I didn’t visit for a long time now. It is special cause there are so many things to do besides rollercoasters that are just fun. I loved the attraction around the mill. you had to walk through a course to get to the mill slide.
Most People in Germany can speak english so just ask nicely if you want a picture taken 😁also seems like i need to check this park out looks like a lot of fun
I had actually asked the group around me if they could take the picture but they didn’t understand me 😅 I didn’t want to wait around for someone who spoke English to take it so I just did what I did instead haha
@@ThemeParkTeeroy the problem is: we have english in school, but some are not interested to listen or to learn more. I in fact did learn more english after I graduated and I use my english sometimes at work 😅
I love the little, weird details you find everywhere in Tripsdrill. I live nearby and rushed that slide (Altweibermühle) when I was a kid, and that is 50 years ago.
Nice video. Just been at the park three days ago with my six year old niece for her birthday. It was her first ever visit to a theme park at she had a blast, according to her. The park used to be very child-oriented when I started going there in the 80s. But over the years it grew quite a lot and they have added a lot of fun coasters that are fun for teens and adults alike. They have kept many of the old rides and theming and lovingly extended it over the years. Yes, it’s a smaller theme park but it’s constant additions keep it fresh and fun. Had a great time there.
I have been to Tripsdrill since I was a small child, when even the centepede (Tausendfüßler) coaster was not open yet. It was more like a big nature-half-reenactment-wine-culture park and over the years as I grew also the rides developed. But I still like the long slide in the Altweibermühle and the ride in the big bunnies and visiting the animatronics, although they seem kind of old fashioned. I like the flair since I also come from a wine based rural background, it just felt like home. One with a similar flair is Märchengarten and Blühendes Barock in Ludwigsburg, it is mostly for kids, but I still love it there as an adult. Both are not a maxed-out in terms of superlatives, but to me as a local the flair is a big plus in both of those parks. The nature and the gardening is just lovable! So I might be biased because I am so used to it, or it is because it has a charme that just speaks to me. Anyway, I'd recommend it!
Cant believe it... International video of the local them park. I live in the town next to it and went there often with a season pass grwoing up. Great video, glad that you like it 👍🏻😁
i really like the flair and flavor and theme of tripptrill. its all about this swabian german region as theme and its (in this case) very old rustic style! (mostly farmer and simple life clieshees) the animatronic have such a hardcore dialect that many germans from other regions barely understand. those things i´d assume are most appreciated by people of that region or even germans from really different parts of germany because they can barely understand but fathom how hard they go on the clishee dialect. Imagin a park in USA like.... a parc in Texas really really going hard on that yeeeeeeehaaa howdie pang pang pang clieshe and also going really hard on the dialect.
I have been there once when the wheather wasn't perfect. It was cloudy, and every here and then it was raining slightly - and it was PERFECT! There weren't too much people around and we literally had no waiting times & so much fun! This park is a clear recommendation from me, especially when the wheather isn't "perfect".
I love how they gave a theme to each ride and use these to tell a story at some of the queues. When you're progressing throught to the bathtub ride to the fountain of youth, they tell you the real story of how Leonardo Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa and show the original painting. When he started painting, she was an old woman. As he wanted to present her his completed masterpice, It turned out, she went to the fountain of youth and was now in fact a young woman. So he had to start over and left the painting at tripsdrill.
Some attractions are really old, e.g. the "Vogelhochzeit". IIRC I saw it back in 1988 when I was six years old. I love this theme park. Never something like Europa-Park but I'd call it a hidden gem. And saying that, I should visit it again, with all the new rides.
The first "Mill with a Slide" was built there in the 1920s based on an old folk tale of a mill in the area that could mill old wives into young ones. ;-) The current one is from 1950 after the old one burned down a few years earlier.
Cool Video. Will defenitely be checking out tripsdrill in the future. If you come back to germany again, concider 'heide park" some of the meanest rides i ever entcountered in germany. Scream, kollossus and limit to name a few
I went there once at like 8yo with a friend and i loved it so much. Especially the Mammut. I was obsessed. I've been begging my mum to go there ever since, but it's kinda far away, so i still haven't been there since. It's been 12 years lol, i could probably go there on my own at this point This took me back
I grew up just two a few towns next to Tripsdrill and I used to go there so often as a child and still today at least once a year! It is by far one of the coziest and family friendly parks I know, and the best thing for visitors is that it really embraces the Swabian culture - every design in the park is coming from the Swabian culture or is a „roast“ of it, so it‘s really fun for children and adults alike!
My best friend took me there on my birthday and I was there for the first time as a 19 y/o and I had the time of my life haha I used to go to europapark pretty often and I'm someone who goes onto every ride. Sure, this park isn't on the "europapark level", but there were like no crowds and the first two hours went by without standing in a single line. So for someone with major anxiety, that's a way better experience than europapark, even tho I personally like the crazier rides there a little more, but I loved it still (and I had a massive discount because It was my birthday which is also awesome)
Tripsdrill is in my top 2 parks due to their nature and all.. and i have visited EuropaPark (my no.1), Phantasialand and more. And i love it due to it being so unique!
Fun fact three: I cant recount, how many bad injuries I have seen at the slide at the end😂😂. If you loose control and have short cloths you will have very bad burns😂. And the screeching noise the (buring) skin makes on the metal of the slide. I tell you, this is what nightmares are made of... But it is like the ride which started the whole park back in the day, so they will never close it.
Im life around 140km away from this Themepark and seriously thinking about getting their season pass because it's just 145€ and also includes 1 free entry per year in several other theme parks including efteling in the netherlands. Edit.: and also because of the free shoot glass :)
Such a fun video to watch! It's great seeing you enjoy one of my home parks for the first time. The map for the zoo is also in the theme park, because zoo admission is included in the theme park ticket. And you also get a free wine glass with every ticket, hope you did not forget yours - otherwise next time. 😁
We still got multiple generations of those glasses at ny parents home using the regularly. And it must be almost 30 years we've been there last time. They are really good quality, and free of charge. What a great merch.
It's such a nice park. My grandpa made the slate roof of the little chapel with the wedding. That was back when there wasn't much more than that and the mills.
Rasender tausenfuessler is my favorite (the 4th in the Video) especially short before the park is closed its mostly empthy and you can just stay put in the seat and ride 10 times in a row!
Also If you are nice and having a lot of fun on the Rasender Tausendfüßler, the ride operator will usually make the train circle a few more extra rounds for you 😄. (Of course only if the line is not tooo long). And we always make an effort to try and pick some grass off the ground at the bank turn around the small pond. It's surprisingly difficult to do😂
I grew up near that place (about 15 miles away) and I visited it every year from age 8 to 16. It was great, especially when I was young. Then it became cheesy and embarrasing. Now it's sorta cool again.
This Park is so good, their slogan "made with love" is absolutely true. It's a park where you just feel comfortable to be at. I've been there a few times already and every time I just fall in love with this park. Their line-up for a regional themepark is great. Also 🤓 moment: Mammut is made by Cordes Holzbau, the company that manufactured Intamin Prefab Track, only the Trains are Gerstlauer.
100% agree, it’s such a charming place to be. There isn’t a bad ride in the park and you can just tell how much care goes into the landscaping and upkeep. And I can’t believe you would expose my stupidity like that when I showcase how dumb I am just fine on my own in every video 🤓
10:30 the title above the map says "Visit our nature park" so it's probably meant as a sort of advert 😄 loved the videos, it was really nice seeing your reactions on the park that's like 20-30 minutes away from me, as a child I didn't really appreciate it but now I love the charm and especially the quirks and Easter eggs about Swabian culture (the region is in / greater area of Stuttgart) and it really feels like they put it all in there. Maybe one well meant advice: the music in between the scenes is quite loud or Riege either a bit too fast paced, I'd advise you to turn down the volume a bit 😊 really enjoyed the videos and wishing you all the fun on your trip!!
Thank you! And I appreciate the advice, I’m still trying to figure out the proper volume levels to contrast between the music and regular clips so I’ll do my best to find a good middle ground moving forward!
Hey man just spent the last 40 minutes watching some other videos really entertaining!! Wanted to come back heute and say that the music does suit your vibe definitely, just maybe like 20% turned down volume but I definitely now see the vibe😆 subscribed, I'm excited for your other videos - I think you're back in the USA now so I hope you've had a great time in Germany overall :)
I’m glad you enjoyed! And yeah I love making fast-paced videos so the music fits well haha, and I really loved my time in Germany, the coolest trip I’ve ever taken! I’m very jealous of the park quality that you guys have over there
Wow, this park has really grown over the last years. The last times I visited the only big coasters were Mammut and Karacho and I rode them until I almost threw up. Good times.
oh wow, I grew up near this park and went a lot as a kid but last time I was there was around 2001/2002 or so. It has definitely gotten a lot bigger with crazier coasters!
Karacho was my first rollercoaster with an inversion that I ever went on. That slow inversion in the dark in the beginning almost had me losing my necklace. xD
Did you get one of those drinking glasses? There's a building where they got a few different glasses to choose from and you get one for free, it's included in the entry price. These glasses have a little Tripsdrill Logo and Drawing of some rides on them and they change the Design every few years. It's a cool little trinket to remember you where there :D
Haha, the joy of the Internet. Seen the sign on our way to my grandparents a hundred times byt never been there. Now a guy from abroad shows me the park I could have visited often but never did😅
Man, I've been there as a child many times, but I did't visit this park for at least 15 years. I definitely need to go there again, it looks really awesome.
I agree. I didn't go there for around 30 years. When visiting my mother in the nearby town we sometimes hiked the surroundings and the Zoo. A few years ago we decided to do our kids the favour to go in. Never regreted it and this year we will be back again.
Did ya know that there was a guy on germanies most popular TV show back in the day who drove the "G'sengte Sau" on his feet while holding a glass o' beer? There are newspaper articles in the waiting line sections about this. The concept of the show was also it's name: "Wetten, dass?" which loosely translates into: "I betcha" or something. The guy was betting that he could go through the whole ride attached to his roller blades on the trail and not spilling the beer to a certain marker in the beerglass. Legends say that he won that freakin' theang.
Oh nooooo you completly missed the Water Canons. With the you can shoot with Water very far away, and sometimes Hit the guys in the rafts :D i think you missed so many good stuff.
its my home park, i LOVE it so much, i call it my second home! ill only life 50min drive away! On the "rasender tausendfüßler" there is normaly a big party when going for a second round, everyone claps and cheerse in the station. It was also my first Rollercoaster in 1995
I have a question: What is it with the people stretching their arms in the air when they're in a coaster? Sometimes even when it is prohibited. To me it looks just crazy.
Taking the car to get from the zoo to the theme park was the most American thing ever! It’s literally a 5 minute walk 🤣
I had to drive elsewhere as soon as I left the park! If the parking hadn’t been free, I definitely would have walked instead. I also had anything I might need during the day in the trunk, so it was more convenient

pronounciations are off, but translations are spot on :)
Tipsdrill is the theme park of my childhood. Massive core memories unlocked. I need to visit the park again and try out the old and new rides.
You should! It’s seriously such an amazing park and I can’t wait to return some day!
I appreciate the context! Tripsdrill has so much interesting theming and storytelling that went over my head
@@ThamiorSilberdrache so isch‘s
Childhood memory unlocked. Back in my days there were only a couple of basic rides, but the petting zoo was amazing. They had lots of baby rabbits. If you want to visit the 'best' and biggest parks, go to Europa Park in Rust and Heidepark in Soltau. By the way "Rasender Tausendfüßler" means "racing centipede" in english.
I actually went to both and loved them! Great parks
@@ThemeParkTeeroy Which one did you like best? I wasn't in Europapark for the last 20 years, but still think it's better than Heidepark.
or "millipede", apparently works for either.
@@inyobill nah its only millipede, centipede is Hundertfüßer
@@airbus_a320neo Bullshit! Centipede means "Tausendfüßler", just google it.
You still get that exclusive glass there :) Its still included in yout themepark ticket :)
Oh man I nearly forgot about those! We had that glasses for years
Visited the park every year with my parents when I was a kid (with Tausendfüßler as the only coaster).
You'll never find such ground-level rides in the USA, as the operators would quickly be sued by people wondering why they suddenly have red welts on their hands because they touched a nearby branch or even the ground.
cant people sign away their right to sue upon entry?
Because the motto here is: An adult is an adult and should also take responsibility for his own (stupid) actions
Now let's assume that the court is of the opinion that the guest is only partly to blame, then the park could indeed be liable for damages... but the sum would be ridiculously low compared to the USA.
@@RoyBeerZ You CAN sue for emotional damage... but it's hard to proof
Yeah. You even put hamsters in the micro wave. Sad story.
I live in Heilbronn, thats right near tripsdrill
Imagine walking around in that park and you hear some guy on coaster yelling "i hit a tree" 😂
This park is amazing, our wind orchestra got free entry for playing on the town square after entering the park. That’s such a neat thing
Love it there! I was there for like 30 times since I was a child, it’s my favorite theme park and the little details and the Humor stands out for me! Also the fact that everything’s so perfectly embedded in nature and it’s full of character. Made with love perfectly fits. Glad you liked it!
its so weird seeing people from all over the world visiting this little theme park^^
even if you can understand german, you probably won't understand the swabian dialect the animatronics are speaking
Which is a shame. Not to bash anyone, but the old guy in the outhouse spitting at the kids and yelling at them to f off is such a classic.
It really is a wonderful park! I hope you and your kids have a blast :)
Same for me. I grew up in Stuttgart and we where at Tripsdrill a few times in the 90s. I think the last time was when Waschzuber Rafting was new. So after nearly 30 years, it looks amazing what they have done with the park. Need to go there soon
The trashbin still exists, but it doesn't talk (anymore, maybe). The talking one is in Ludwigsburg, Blühendes Barock.
Did like 10 laps Back-to-Back 😄
Big thump up for all the Sonic music, especially Lava Reef Zone.
greetings from Germany
I in fact did learn more english after I graduated and I use my english sometimes at work 😅
Just kearn the phrase in German easy win.
@@ThemeParkTeeroyYou maybe asked the japanese group 😉.
@@ralfp8844...or french. There usually are a lot if visitors from France in the park
Great video, glad that you like it 👍🏻😁
The Hals-über-Kopf seat design is cool. ♥
You should've stayed in one of the tree houses. As sun sets you can hear the wolves. Such a great place
i really like the flair and flavor and theme of tripptrill. its all about this swabian german region as theme and its (in this case) very old rustic style!
I´m living right next to Tripsdrill and I have to say that Tripsdrill had a great development in the recent years!
Man tripsdrill was my childhood. I really need to go back some time and relive those times ^^ hope you enjoy your stay in our beautiful country
Love this park it has such a nice querky ambiance. And i agree with youre description of Mammuth know exactly what you mean.
Some attractions are really old, e.g. the "Vogelhochzeit". IIRC I saw it back in 1988 when I was six years old. I love this theme park. Never something like Europa-Park but I'd call it a hidden gem. And saying that, I should visit it again, with all the new rides.
They do such a great job of mixing in the old with the new. Everything feels connected and fresh, even rides that date back to the 80s.
I just released a video from Heide Park last week!
I went there once at like 8yo with a friend and i loved it so much.
Especially the Mammut. I was obsessed. I've been begging my mum to go there ever since, but it's kinda far away, so i still haven't been there since. It's been 12 years lol, i could probably go there on my own at this point
This took me back
Man I love the caterpillar. It's awesome, even if it's for smaller kids
I grew up just two a few towns next to Tripsdrill and I used to go there so often as a child and still today at least once a year! It is by far one of the coziest and family friendly parks I know, and the best thing for visitors is that it really embraces the Swabian culture - every design in the park is coming from the Swabian culture or is a „roast“ of it, so it‘s really fun for children and adults alike!
this thing is one of a kind ! verry nice there !
My best friend took me there on my birthday and I was there for the first time as a 19 y/o and I had the time of my life haha
I used to go to europapark pretty often and I'm someone who goes onto every ride. Sure, this park isn't on the "europapark level", but there were like no crowds and the first two hours went by without standing in a single line.
So for someone with major anxiety, that's a way better experience than europapark, even tho I personally like the crazier rides there a little more, but I loved it still
(and I had a massive discount because It was my birthday which is also awesome)
Tripsdrill is in my top 2 parks due to their nature and all.. and i have visited EuropaPark (my no.1), Phantasialand and more. And i love it due to it being so unique!
Excellent choice for a song at the beginning. The Sonicmania OST slaps.
That sounds like a sweet deal! I’d absolutely do that
Such a fun video to watch! It's great seeing you enjoy one of my home parks for the first time.
The map for the zoo is also in the theme park, because zoo admission is included in the theme park ticket. And you also get a free wine glass with every ticket, hope you did not forget yours - otherwise next time. 😁
Thank you! I totally forgot about the wine, but that just gives me another reason to return! :)
It’s so fun! I love how energetic everyone is in the station :)
Good times.
Trpstrill !
I didn’t know about the free drinking glasses when I visited :(
oh wow, I grew up near this park and went a lot as a kid but last time I was there was around 2001/2002 or so. It has definitely gotten a lot bigger with crazier coasters!
Karacho was my first rollercoaster with an inversion that I ever went on. That slow inversion in the dark in the beginning almost had me losing my necklace. xD
Great video👍 underrated parc, i love Tripsdrill👌
Now I wanna go to Tripsdrill again. Was there often as a kid with my grandpa.
It’s so much fun! I’ll definitely be returning at some point in my life
Did you get one of those drinking glasses? There's a building where they got a few different glasses to choose from and you get one for free, it's included in the entry price. These glasses have a little Tripsdrill Logo and Drawing of some rides on them and they change the Design every few years. It's a cool little trinket to remember you where there :D
I wish I had! I unfortunately didn’t know about it at the time :/
That brings back memories. My family used to go there about once every year.
I hope you grabbed some food at the „Gasthaus zur Altweibermühle“ - it serves (!!) quite authentic - and really good - swabian cuisine.
I did! It was incredibly good, easily the best park food I got on the trip!
Tripsdrill hat meine Kindheit einfach geprägt❤

Wasn’t that on Mammut? I know a guy roller skated the track on Mammut at one point
I think that was attempted more than once, until someone died doing it. The newspaper article is about that time.
I go there like every year, really like the park
NOTE : if the Mammut is wet it rattles like hell
Oh nooooo you completly missed the Water Canons. With the you can shoot with Water very far away, and sometimes Hit the guys in the rafts :D i think you missed so many good stuff.

I have a question: What is it with the people stretching their arms in the air when they're in a coaster? Sometimes even when it is prohibited. To me it looks just crazy.
In my case, stupidity 😂 but a lot of people like the free feeling of having your hands up!
Tripsdrill is very nice, especially for families.
Is there still the animatronic taking a dump at the entrance of the park? Been 12 years since I last went there
There is! I forgot to take a video of it but it’s still there
