A tense Rogue match, a control match, an aggro match... Really good selection of games chose, paired with a naturally fun deck to watch. Thanks for the video!
On the subject of cards to cut, Curator seems quite bad with 1 of each Murloc, Beast, and Dragon, and competes with a similar cost for the Lich King that Trump would like to run. Arguably gives Kodo the boot too, freeing up another slot for something else.
Jaeus A I think One rallying blade for black guard, curator for Lich king. You could possibly keep both rallying blades and cut kodo for blackguard if you wanted both.
Don't forget he is running TWO copies of rallying blade despite only having 5 dependable sources of divine shield. Hell I would personally ditch both blades for Truesilvers.
everyone in this comment chain loses so hard to any aggressive deck, there is a reason rallying blade is run, it's because to exist in hearthstone right now a deck needs to do 3 damage on turn 2/3, truesilver is just too slow
Kori260 Thats my main problem with Paladin in general... You pretty much need Tirion, Sunkeeper, Wickerflame and Ragnaros, sometimes Elise, and nowadays even the Deathknight (+ epics).
Sgt. Nukem01 the otk pally I have seen isn't even an otk, you get 3 coins from that trogg guy, play uther dk, play mayor and then play the 3 coins to hero power 4 times. More like a 2tk imo
I don't run Bolvar, Kodo's, rallying blade, chillblade champion, and cut 1 corpsetaker, but have Lich King, Arfus, Acolyte, Truesilver, and something else I can't remember off the top of my head. It has no 5 costs card but I still have a 92% winrate in about 40 games
I run a very similar deck to this. Misses out on bolvar as i dont have him. Same with wickerflame. And i miss out the curator package to run lich king amd blackguard. It performs perfectly fine IMO. Only thing that it doesnt do great against it jade druid in the late game as i cant cycle to my board clears as fast without curator
I have a version like this but rather than the divine shield minions, I run murlocs. you get great early/mid game if you can draw decently and in the late game, uther/ drakes have so much value. only thing it loses to is pirate warrior
-rallying blade - curator + truesilvers -Stonehills +forbidden healings -Chillblade +Lich King - kodo - drake +dirty rats Had a lot of success with this variant.
Its a strong card for combo decks, because of the passive hero power. The battlecry is fine for survivability, but its really the passive that makes it strong.
1: You don't want to get rid of Kodo as he's filling an important spot (5-drop), so you would cut it only for another 5-drop. 2: Sgt Sally is too unreliable to be good. You want to control when your board clears are going off, and the chillblade fills synergy for corpse taker, which is a big deal to drop on 4. Burnbristle is sometimes drawn, and the lifesteal is actually important for paladin, where you usually spend the last 2 turns doing hero power end turn.
I wonder if the Rogue would've won if he had spread out his Jades against Equality a little better. That double Van Cleef turn in particular seems like it might've been a misplay (I haven't thought about it thoroughly, though).
i don't get how the curator is still important enough to take the spot over lich king. the lich king has more effect on the board and the cards it draws are arguably better.
I'm thinking of crafting the pally DK. The only problem is that I only have one pally legendary and thats Tirion. Can't find any cheapish pally decks with the DK.
I've made myself a deck that runs only tirion and the pally DK, most of the 'important' cards for control paladin are either rare (equality, wild pyro) or basic (Truesilver, Consecration). Essentially, just build for value. And if you were to start a control paladin. I would tell you that Tarim and Ragnaros probably are more important than Uther of the Ebon Blade, but that's a personnal opinion.
I still wish Bolvar's card was better, he's just such a cool character, the first one sucked, the second one is a better rendition but still could be better
Bogyman Noobman a full fledged deck. All them jades cards, arcane giants, auctioneers. But i don't have the main components for rogue yet: mimic pod, counterfeit coins, e.t.c but i could craft those
The main components for Jade Rogue, barring legendaries. gives you a deck that looks a little rickety. There's a lot of epics (at least 1 preparation, 2 arcane giants, the two 4/4's that put stuff back in your hand), and those epics are basically 2,000 dust, which would be enough to craft your valeera or your aya. I would say those two legendaries are more than enough for the jade rogue deck though. But, as there always is, Jade Druid performs a lot better, and runs less epics (two ultimate infestations is pretty much it, though even then, 1 would still cut it) and only runs 2 legendaries that are really a bit of a must (fandral + Aya), so I honestly think Jade Druid is a better alternative.
Personally I cut the Doomsayers and the Divine Shield package (Bolvar, Wickerflame, Corpsetakers, Rallying Blades) in favor of deathrattle and Curator synergy. Arfus is surprisingly good when you draw him off Curator and get him back again from N'Zoth, and Skelemancers are just fantastic.
TheZedman5000 Skelemancers felt more like a gimmick to me. I tried him out in my pally deck and ended up cutting them because it felt like they weren't putting in enough work once I got in the higher ranks.
I run 1 that I put down before I start putting down my high value minions to try to protect against board clears or to eat removal. If a Warrior Shield Slams or Executes the 8/8 I consider that to be great value. When I can place it turn 5 and Steed it on 6, it's even better. I'd definitely consider it to be a more greedy, anti-control tech card than a staple in the deck. It's pretty much entirely worthless against aggro.
TheZedman5000 I just put him back in my deck a realized why I cut him in the first place. I mainly play wild a Sylvanas just completely shuts down this card. In standard I can see him being strong as a one of, but he struggles in wild because of Sylvanas.
I don't get the appeal of Elise. Sure, you can get a second Tarim 1% of the time and a third Spikeridge 5% of the time, occasionally good for a hydro or stonehill. Meh. Might as well run Malchezaar if you just want random cards, at least you're guaranteed legendaries then.
its not the same thing, elise is a 5mana 5/5 thart doesnt make u draw bad random legendaries that can ruin ur strategy, instead just puts a 2mana get 5 good cards.
Let's assume we're playing Elise then. You have roughly a 60% chance of drawing her in a given game running a control deck. Once drawn, you have to play her to get the random pack which will have maybe a 20% chance of containing a useful card for your strategy. Then, presuming you've drawn through half your deck already, you have a 5% chance of actually drawing it on the next turn.
You want to draw the pack late game -.- and it doesnt always need to be tarim in the pack to be good. It can be whatever waterelemental blablabla. I just think elise can work as a 5drop better than kodo and the curator combo
At 15:00 you talk about attacking twice with your hero, once when you're normal then again after you change into the Death Knight Tyrion. They fixed it, you can't do that anymore.
but you summon a random one each time, so you just need 2 or 3 different ones in hand and play em, and hit the button, you would need to stall like a mad man but im sure one could
I think the Horsemen are summoned at random from the ones you don't have yet (just like how Shaman totems work), so what you're proposing would require some luck to work. For example, if you summon Horseman A and bounce him back to your hand, the next turn you would run the risk of summoning Horseman A again with your hero power.
Pandas are terrible cards and there is absolutely no reason to run 4 terrible cards for a very inconsistent combo that only helps in heavy control matchups. If you truly want to commit to OTKing people, just run beardo - takes way less slots for mostly the same purpose.
What's with the sudden zoom ins? I get zooming in on Aya (though iirc you usually make those events stand out in a different way) but you also did it on Trump's face even when he wasn't saying anything super funny, dumb or important.
I find it better :) last a bit longer too due to Lich King's death knight spells. And he's much harder to kill than most of Paladin's legendaries included Tirion. Unless you're up against Priest.
The lich king is harder to kill than Tirion? He has 2 health more but no divine shield, which is generally worth about 4 health or so on average, so I very much doubt that.
"You can't build your deck assuming 100% control" Um... What... That's exactly how a meta is formed. You build a deck to counter the vast majority of what others are playing.
I don't think bolvar has a place in a control deck, especially one with barely any divine shield synergy. I'd say he's more of a midrange or aggro card.
This is the deck I would love to have....but as free to play that is something that won't happen.Maybe by the time, the next expac comes out I guess.Or more realistically the expac after that.

"Created by: another card"
the level of effort put into this game is astonishing.
A tense Rogue match, a control match, an aggro match...
Really good selection of games chose, paired with a naturally fun deck to watch. Thanks for the video!
Title should have been "Dude making and corpse taking"
gtasd wagaw That's pretty good
The Paladin you know and love with yet ANOTHER legendary to craft

On the subject of cards to cut, Curator seems quite bad with 1 of each Murloc, Beast, and Dragon, and competes with a similar cost for the Lich King that Trump would like to run. Arguably gives Kodo the boot too, freeing up another slot for something else.
Jaeus A I'd take out 1 consecration and the curator and replace them with 1 righteous protector and Lich King.
I take out kodo and run Arfus
Jaeus A I think One rallying blade for black guard, curator for Lich king. You could possibly keep both rallying blades and cut kodo for blackguard if you wanted both.
Don't forget he is running TWO copies of rallying blade despite only having 5 dependable sources of divine shield. Hell I would personally ditch both blades for Truesilvers.

This deck is expensive as all hell. Walletdin ftw...
Kori260 Thats my main problem with Paladin in general... You pretty much need Tirion, Sunkeeper, Wickerflame and Ragnaros, sometimes Elise, and nowadays even the Deathknight (+ epics).
Kori260 welcome to control decks
13,020 dust not counting basic cards. Dust count brought to you by Dusty.
Dusty thanks dusty
Highlander priest is worst
Not gonna lie, that druid match was really.. REALLY fucking satisfying
Thanks for coming out with so much content so fast, keep it up:)
Gotta admit, I love how much Trump chats with his chat nowadays. I may be blind but I've never noticed till now somehow.
Loved that classic clip Jens!
trump that hawiian shirt is too much you absolute maverick
that last game Trump built a wall and made the druid pay for it
*_G O L E M S A R E A G I R L S B E S T F R I E N D ! ! !_*
Where's the horseman otk vid at? Or control warrior? Or value priest? We need our mayor to govern these aggro decks properly
Sgt. Nukem01 Not my mayor.
When the dust settles the only viable control warrior is going to end up being the exact same taunt warrior from last set but with a lich king.
Tbh there really aren't much aggro atm
Chum agro murloc decks are posting insane winrates right now on hsreplay.
Sgt. Nukem01 the otk pally I have seen isn't even an otk, you get 3 coins from that trogg guy, play uther dk, play mayor and then play the 3 coins to hero power 4 times. More like a 2tk imo
'Eat it again! hyahyahyahya' It gets me every time xD
32:17 When you are going mad with power, but are also dorky
Thats a good habit for work too, finding a problem and having a solution ready for said problem
I love how in the first game, Wickerflame was the last card in his deck so corpsetaker would have still gotten all the effects.
11:30 Trump has a Trolden episode 22 moment. (it's the last segment). It's an older combo but it checks out.
we're still waiting for some darkest dungeon. Don't forget to play this game too please...
can someone explain how he got tricket at ~16:38?
The Paladin Put in The 4 1/1 divines so He Looks Like aggro, which brings Control to Play their cards for Tempo,Not value
that rogue deck already won in style points^^
32:15 Okay, calm down there Monokuma.
34:30 Monokuma, stop it.
I like the flashback clips!
Created by "another card." That's not right.
14:37 why does this coldlight say "created by another card" and not specifically which card created it?
It was created by rogue's passive hero power
11:50
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
SOME SWAG GOING ON HERE?
*plays 10-10 and 12-12 vancleef*
I have a version like this but rather than the divine shield minions, I run murlocs. you get great early/mid game if you can draw decently and in the late game, uther/ drakes have so much value. only thing it loses to is pirate warrior
Todag I got otked with paladin quest and Beardo feelsbadman
thats a 2 turn kill though
Quest and beardo? Do you mean lich Uther and beardo?
dk IS the quest. we don't talk about that other one...
+DrinkBlach We Galvadon't...?
Unicron: Behold, Galvadon! And these shall be your min.. wait, no, no, this is stupid. *subs quest for DK Uther*
-rallying blade - curator + truesilvers
-Stonehills +forbidden healings
-Chillblade +Lich King
- kodo - drake +dirty rats
Had a lot of success with this variant.
No early Game basically.
oke i got to know, what is the music you play at the end card screen, it's so nice and calm
I love the new outro :)
Are there any other decks that can utilize Valera the Hallow, other than jades?
Reese Voll I lost to a mill deck using her to get more coldlight oracles.
Its a strong card for combo decks, because of the passive hero power. The battlecry is fine for survivability, but its really the passive that makes it strong.
What is the name of that ending song? It's awesome
What's are some good replacement for rag, i know Lich king is a good option
Connor Delich honestly if you see a lot of aggro you could put in forbidden healing and not the lich king
Why did the shuriken at 13:46 not spawn a golem?
its a combo card
Hey Trump, what decktracker do you use?
T4LT Hereticus HS deck tracker.
Two Bonemares for Curator and the Kodo. Then you can drop in Sgt Sally in place of the Chillblade for truly obnoxious board clearing.
Stupid ass question... but can Stonehill Defender discover Corpsetaker if you have a taunt in your deck?
35:18 lolol 2 bitter tide hydras
new hearthstone player here... can anyone tell me what tracker is he using?
13:58 "another card"?
From Valeera passive Heropower
do someone know the song of the outro?
What was that, like 3 or 4 Aya's and that rogue still lost?
I wonder if the Rogue would've won if he had spread out his Jades against Equality a little better. That double Van Cleef turn in particular seems like it might've been a misplay (I haven't thought about it thoroughly, though).
I played against a Wikerflame, Desperate Stand and Redemption deck. It was annoying but I still won
Philip Tran Thats a concede shaman wannabe
First Last the true concede shaman atm is discover un'goro into Hemet deck.
that rogue game though...
i don't get how the curator is still important enough to take the spot over lich king. the lich king has more effect on the board and the cards it draws are arguably better.

Which song is playing at the end?
M1ghtyGrunt Invincible from the WoW OST
Any recommended decks for valeera the hollow? Without too much legendaries. Because I'm poor :,)
geniusfishbro maybe jades?
Marc Krapp-Kuhlmann with what? Just jades won't be enough of course, but i don't know what to pair it with
geniusfishbro arcane giants?
Bogyman Noobman a full fledged deck. All them jades cards, arcane giants, auctioneers. But i don't have the main components for rogue yet: mimic pod, counterfeit coins, e.t.c but i could craft those

@Trump if you didn't have Bolvar would you put in the Lich King ? I mean like cutting Bolvar for Lich King as replacement
Jonas Wulkotte you can do it but youll be a bit worse off on aggro and raza priest
Song at the end please?
Invincible WoW
I think you cut one rallying blade for blackguard or Lich king.

They tend to stick on the board for some Spikeridge value, but other than that, the mana cost is too high to bother playing it sometimes.
I run 1 that I put down before I start putting down my high value minions to try to protect against board clears or to eat removal. That makes sense; I play this deck entirely in Standard.
wait, where did Aya #3 come from?
Journey Below.
Aya #1 is the original
Aya #2 Was made by the 4/4 that makes it into a 1/1 for 1
Aya #3 and #4 Were both made by Journey Below.
make the otk paladin video please!!!
28:45 "Justicar Paladin was actually the moment in time where I hit rank 1 legend" 28:56 no Justicar in decklist...
Cause he's playing Standard.
Dude there is no Wild or Standard at that time... all cards can be used
There was no Justicar in the deck Trump hit rank 1 legend with
"Here, eat it again."
Evil_Trumpsc: 2017
Uther would be a better card if Tirion didn't exist, because the overlap with the weapons is kinda clunky.
35 minutes FeelsAmazingMan
Please sir, may I have some more monster?
In the dark, preferably.
Curator out, Lich King in.
That first rogue player tho.
whats the outro music?

Zhaltia Invincible from WoW's OST
How do you win against jade druid?
Time your equality and consecrations right.
The madman!
only 7 legendarys? ez I'll play that one day
Isnt elise good in this deck? Its a 5drop too
Probably, it is very possible that running elise and something else would be better that the curator and kodo.
I don't get the appeal of Elise. Sure, you can get a second Tarim 1% of the time and a third Spikeridge 5% of the time, occasionally good for a hydro or stonehill. Meh. Might as well run Malchezaar if you just want random cards, at least you're guaranteed legendaries then.

nice stranglethorn valley theme, jens :)
The music switches depending on the board, STV theme in the jungle map, Orgrimmar theme in the Orgrimmar map. I love it.
At 15:00 you talk about attacking twice with your hero, once when you're normal then again after you change into the Death Knight Tyrion. They fixed it, you can't do that anymore.
darkchiron That's literally the reason he said he should have attacked with the weapon, because he knows he can't do it twice in one turn.
Ah yeah that makes sense. Thought he was going for some silly "Attack twice with my weapon for the lulz" situation. Just misunderstood his meaning.
I think he meant that he should have hit face on a previous turn... setting up a possible lethal if he draws Death Knight.
Can't wait until I have 20k dust to craft this deck! fml
tranmer32 I disenchanted tirion yesterday and saw how good this deck with tirion...FML!!
Why would you ever dust Tirion? Best Paladin card and one of the best cards in the entire game.
tranmer32 because I'm an inpatient mofo who's temptation always gets the best of him....
I kinda use corpse taker in my exodia paladin
Am I the only person who wouldn't be upset if the Ebon Blade actually rezed Uther as a deathknight in WoW lore, that would be cool.
"Well played"
that druid lost so hard I almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
would 2 of each panda work for exodia pally? return some horse men to hand and play em all on same turn
but you summon a random one each time, so you just need 2 or 3 different ones in hand and play em, and hit the button, you would need to stall like a mad man but im sure one could
I think the Horsemen are summoned at random from the ones you don't have yet (just like how Shaman totems work), so what you're proposing would require some luck to work. missed lethal at 10:38
explain?
You got golden Uther???? I've only gotten sindragosa, lanathel and putricide from packs. I know, best legendarys ever
Awesome video trump keep up the good work would love to play with u and have u teach me one day
I think judging on how much control there is in meta atm switching 1 doomsayer for lk would be good choice
You don't need Lich King, however you would need another 5 drop.
Why does it keep zooming in? I can see it happening with or with out it. and it blocks where the Aya's come from if he doesn't mouse over it.
Fulcrum nope you can clearly see where it's from after the zoom
Rest In Peace Drakest Dungeon

Corpsetaker in Warlock with Bloodworm and Sunwalker.
Still not worth it :(
Holy crap is jade rogue a thing now? Dunno why I'm asking, control paladin beat it, but wow
THE MADMAN
THE M A D M A N
What's with the sudden zoom ins? I get zooming in on Aya (though iirc you usually make those events stand out in a different way) but you also did it on Trump's face even when he wasn't saying anything super funny, dumb or important.
I use the Lich King on this deck instead of bolvar ^^ Also truesilver champion instead of Rallying blade
Rallying Blade was much more effective during Un'Goro meta, tough to call so early in the new meta if Truesilver is better again.
Zereldo chaisa Cool story, how's your deck performing?
I find it better :) last a bit longer too due to Lich King's death knight spells. And he's much harder to kill than most of Paladin's legendaries included Tirion. Unless you're up against Priest.
Zereldo chaisa Aight.
The lich king is harder to kill than Tirion?
He has 2 health more but no divine shield, which is generally worth about 4 health or so on average, so I very much doubt that.
Somebody knows the name of the music in the end ?
renan renan ido Invincible from WoW's OST
"You can't build your deck assuming 100% control" Um... What... That's exactly how a meta is formed. You build a deck to counter the vast majority of what others are playing.

Garret Griffith so far jade druid is doing great
I don't think bolvar has a place in a control deck, especially one with barely any divine shield synergy. I'd say he's more of a midrange or aggro card.
This is the deck I would love to have....but as free to play that is something that won't happen.Maybe by the time, the next expac comes out I guess.Or more realistically the expac after that.
adam lane me too, got tarim but missing all the other pally legendaries. feelsbadman
I believe Lich king for Curator and 1 rallying blade for 1 blackguard
JBlack than you have only 1 early game weapon
you making all these references to DD but the thirst for the blood (and greed) still continues... Please get some DD videos back in the line up!
Uther Hodored the shit out of that door.
