Just jumping on here again to say thank you to everyone that continues to tune in. I know we say it in every video, but we truly mean it. I’m just stoked people enjoy what we do!! 🎉
Man that blows....That is the first thing I did on my FXR is put a 5.2 gallon Electra Glide tank on her. I get 42 mpg with the S&S V111. Hope you get her dialed in. Good times!
@@Me.MyMachinist.and.lnot sure if y’all are staying in Owensboro by the convention center where the expo is but just to give some local suggestions while visiting here for food/activities. Dee’s diner-great food, definitely unhealthy in the best way, kind of whole in the wall breakfast place, bout 5 min ride away, got to order the pancakes(they’re huge) Gramps coffee and doughnuts-croissant based gourmet doughnuts that are pretty interesting, decent coffee too The crème coffee- local coffee place, kind of hippie vibe Famous bistro-good lunch spot if you like Mediterranean food Colby’s-good southern inspired food and nice atmosphere Miller house-more upscale place but bourbon bar downstairs has great atmosphere, might need reservation on weekend to get a seat down there Brew bridge-good food and decent house made beers, their beer cheese is really good The pub on second/brashers -drink prices are pretty good and brashers has music most weekends while the pub has bob ross on the bar tv all the time and quieter setting Green River distillery- nice bourbon tour/tasting that’s on bourbon trail, a few min drive away Bluegrass museum-if you’re not into bluegrass still an interesting place to visit Nicky Hayden memorial- it’s right outside the convention center but you shouldn’t miss it and walk on by Smothers park-they have swings set up by the River and it’s a nice nighttime walk Owensboro also is known for their bbq but personally Kentucky bbq doesn’t do it for me(Texas bbq all the way), but Moonlight, old hickory, and ole south are the 3 main places to try it out if that’s your thing.
I’m not sure where we are staying either. Jake and Milhouse are our tour guides since they have been to this show a time or two. But I’ll def past along this list. Thanks for the recommendations for sure!!!
I love them. I have had them on nearly all my bikes and I’m currently having another one made for the peach bike. They do require to be “broken” in. The gel and cushion needs a little time to form to you, but they do not break down and create fatigue as fast as factory foam.
Looked like fun, with the gas mileage the CV carb should be good when dialed in but running an Evo at 85mph for long runs will use a bit more gas but not what you said, what's it like around town and cruising at 65mph?
On the return ride home I was staying around 70-75 and got over 145 miles without switching to reserve. I believe that fill up took 3.8 So def better. It’s hard to slow down after having my Softail for so long. That bike loved riding at 90-95 with total ease and still got decent mileage
@@Me.MyMachinist.and.l Yeah 38mpg sounds ok considering the speed, I'm in Oz and the conversion threw me a bit, I'm getting the same for mixed riding and 45mpg (5.2 L/100kms) on the highway at 65 (100kph) on a TC88 Mikuni 45, we can't go fast here like you guys can, 😄

Wide open country… thanks for the videos man… keep em coming
Will do!
Keep these up loving the videos especially the riding ones with the fxr !!!
Thanks man!!! Got plenty more rides with this bike coming up. I’m stoked on it so far!
exact quote on my last trip: "Just once I wish the bike would return home in the same state (functionality) it left home in!!" Your bike looks sharp!!
Hahaha. They always need a deep clean when you get home. 😂. I’m mostly mad about losing my fxr pin from my jacket on this trip 😂
Awesome video! Good to see you again, until next time dude!
Thanks! I’m sure I’ll catch ya again soon!

Man, I would kill for that mileage and power!! Cruising at 75 I’m still only seeing about 38-40mpg at most.
Great looking bike and vid...cheers!
Thanks 👍
Great video! I’ll be at the River city bike expo Saturday and Sunday. Hope to catch y’all there.
Heck yeah. Justin will have a booth setup all weekend long, so swing by and say hey! 👋

Green River distillery- nice bourbon tour/tasting that’s on bourbon trail, a few min drive away
Bluegrass museum-if you’re not into bluegrass still an interesting place to visit
Nicky Hayden memorial- it’s right outside the convention center but you shouldn’t miss it and walk on by
Smothers park-they have swings set up by the River and it’s a nice nighttime walk

Young people , was that the majority at the venue?. Enjoyed the footage of the ride
No. There’s was mainly guys around my age (42) it seemed. There was a stage with a band as well as other areas filled with people.
How do you like that settlement seat? I could only put about 500 miles on mine. I got rid of it very uncomfortable.
