As for the frontal projection, the so-called VLD has a very decent slope, but even with this the adjustment does not exceed 114 millimeters, and although sometimes ricochets happen, even tanks of the fifth level still penetrate the SU-100 WoT tank destroyer. The only solid place we have is the gun mantlet; it can “eat” damage and is capable of ricocheting.
The camouflage coefficient can rightly be considered the bright side of the coin. The fact is that on our side there is a very low silhouette, so detecting the SU-100 tank is not such an easy task.
From the point of view of mobility, everything is also very good. The maximum forward speed is very good and although it is not always possible to achieve it, the specific power of the SU-100 World of Tanks engine is also worthy of respect. But you shouldn’t rely on maneuverability; turning this self-propelled gun is not that difficult.
First, let's look at the SU-100 gun with a caliber of 122 millimeters, because this is one of the most formidable guns at the level, as it has a very powerful alphastrike. But it takes a long time to reload in this configuration, although approximately 1800 units of damage per minute is a very decent result.
Regarding penetration parameters, the SU-100 tank can easily destroy classmates and level seven equipment with an armor-piercing shell, and only for some eights, in particular heavy ones, you should carry 10-15 gold cartridges with you.
Of course, you will have to pay for such serious one-time damage and accuracy will be a forced sacrifice. The SU-100 tank destroyer has a large spread, takes a very long time to assemble, and its stabilization is expectedly poor. In addition, the gun lowers only 6 degrees, but the total elevation angle of 24 degrees (12 in each direction) can be called comfortable.
The second gun, an alternative one, has the same penetration parameters, the situation with UGN and UVN is identical here, but we have less one-time damage. At the same time, in this configuration, the SU-100 World of Tanks reloads faster and is capable of dealing slightly more damage per minute, approximately 1950.
But the main distinguishing feature of the 100 mm gun is its more comfortable accuracy. Your initial spread will be smaller, and the information will be much faster, making it easier to deal damage on the SU-100 WoT, and an accidental miss will not seem so critical.
Which is better to choose? Here everyone must decide for themselves, but for those who like to thoroughly break into the enemy, or even send the opponent to the hangar with one shot, it is recommended to take a 122 mm barrel. And for those who prefer DPM and the comfort of dealing damage, the SU-100 tank can be driven with an alternative pre-top gun. - Ігри

су 100 классная пт. сравнивая с немецкими пт этими же уровнями. подвижная довольно, часто снаряды отскакивают, вроде тонкая броня, но угол наклона хороший. 2 орудия на выбор. 1е хорошее и 2е тоже пушка. красивая пт в целом.
