Loving this setup with the other videos running in the background! Any game worth owning is worth owning a physical copy of, though so few escape with no digital "meddling" these days. My favorite physical I'm glad to have is Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training for Nintendo Switch - a game that didn't get a release in the US!
This is such a fantastic list, man. I'm re-doubling my focus on Switch collecting this year, so this is exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks Jay!
Thank you so much for taking a chance in the channel, and for your kind words. I hope I can continue to provide good vibes and keep earning your subscription!
Really incredible video dude I watched the whole thing and I loved it. I am a big switch collector myself huge Nintendo fanboy since my first console the super Nintendo I own a lot of these for the switch, but there are still quite a few that I don’t have on your list that now I’m intrigued and I’m definitely looking forward to see how many of these games get some type of upgrade on the Nintendo switch to, similar to how you mentioned the PlayStation 4 games getting upgrades to the PlayStation five versions well done. I enjoyed every minute.
Just got a switch recently *I know, talk about late to the party* and picked up all three Bayonetta games. Haven't gotten to them yet. But looking forward to playing them!
Great video sir. Love the insight. I own SM Odyssey, Kirby, Kaze, Super Lucky’s Tale, TMNT, Rayman, Luigi’s Mansion 2 and 3, Prince of Persia, Cruise N Blast, SM Wonder…so I guess I agree with you 😂
All good. Personally I would add Romancing Saga 1, 2 and 3, all Super Robot Wars games, SD Gundam G Gen, Street Fighter 30th anniversary collection, Stardew Valley, Monster Hunter Stories 1 and 2, Skyrim, Shin Megami Tensei V, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 remake and The Legend of Heroes series, (just to name few 😏) to your list.
Crazy how we went from people complaining that the switch didn't have many games early on to now being overwhelmed by how many games it has. A few hidden gems id recommend are ai the somnium files and va-11 hall-a.
Thanks for this list! I got a Switch OLED last year with 3 physical games but I’ve been adding digital games to my collection for the rest of my library. While I don’t plan on getting any more physical games, I’ve saved a bunch of games from your recommendations to my wish list. Prince of Persia was the most recent game I purchased, and I’ll probably get Super Lucky’s Tale next! I’ll definitely revisit your video for future purchases.
I'm a collector as well, with 525 cartridges and I'm happy with the backwards compatibility. I think Ring Fit Adventure would be another to not "work" with Switch 2 as its joycons are too big for the ring, unless the Switch 2 accept Switch 1 joycons.
Awesome number in the collection! I'm jealous! Truth be told - Ring Fit was one of the last I cut, just because I was concerned about the new joy cons not working with the ring.
let me try to sway you away from gunbird. It has around 6 or 7 frames of Lag in the collection. Its already a hard game, the lag really doesnt let you enjoy it to the fullest. Try Esparade, Darius Cosmic Collection, g-Darius, and Mushimesama!
Are you talking about the video in the background? I just wanted to put on one of my Switch playlists of videos I've done to keep things from being too boring.
Lots of reasons, but the main one is that with retail shelf space shrinking constantly, it'd be wise to pick the games up now before we run out of room for them in stores.
You'll see some jump up just due to availability, but I don't think you're going to see a huge spike for probably about 8-10 years. Typically when it comes to collectibles, prices don't really jump up until the generation that got their start with the product hits adulthood and starts getting disposable income and they start doing nostalgia purchases to reclaim some of their childhood.
1:56 Whoah, is that you in the background?! Shades of Douglas Houser Total Recall there!
Kaze & the Wild Masks is sublime.

My first time seeing one of your videos. Seriously enjoying this. I'm subbed. Great vibe and pacing, while recommending a variety of games.
Thank you so much for taking a chance in the channel, and for your kind words. I hope I can continue to provide good vibes and keep earning your subscription!
Good video. Timestamps with the games listed would be a great addition though.
TOTK changed my world! I lived in that game for months. It took a real conscious effort to put it down and play other games.

Dude, thank you so very much. I cannot tell you how much this comment means.

Not late to the party at all - welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy your time with the platform!
Love that hat! Great video buddy
Thank you my friend! :)
I will probably grab a few of your suggestions. Thanks, Jay!
@@BigDaddy-1980 Thanks for watching!!
Fantastic list which I have most of them definitely a good reminder of some games I need to replay 😊
Difficult list. I would have added. One resident evil. Dying light and Nier Automata just because they are amazing ports for switch.
Great video. The switch has so many great games.
Very good list, I agree on everything. DK Tropical Freeze is a fantastic game that we were lucky to get on the Switch too.
Dat thumbnail tho. Lol

Golf with your friends is a personal favourite of mine.
Some great picks, the Switch has an amazing selection of games and you highlighted 37 great ones.
Pepper Grinder is one of my favorite games , probably my game of the year last year on the switch. What a gem 💎
Excellent suggestions, as always, Jay!

Any recommendations on where to pick up used physical games at good prices?

I may add 2 games to the list. Astral Chain and Starlink.
So many gaming outlets hate Switch 2 reveal
Sounds like a them problem.
@SquarePegs hope Switch 2 wont flop like WiiU
Why is your camera shifting constantly lol?
Face tracking on a gimbal. I fidget. This keeps me in frame.
@@SquarePegs Nice. Love the vid.
Thanks, Asylum! Appreciate you watching. :)
@@SquarePegs Maybe set it to be less reactive or slower pans. Sometimes it feels a bit jumpy watching.
Thanks, my wallet is crying now, lol
No shooter on the list. What would be a great shmup on the Switch worth playing (retro release or new)?
Great question! Gunbird 2 would be my pick - it's digital only as far as I know, but an incredible game.

Sturmwind EX. Such an amazing shooter from the Dreamcast.
@@katazerith6155 Andro Dunos 2 looks great. Played the OG Neo Geo back in the day. Need to give it a try, too.
You would love Atari Mania
Why do you record yourself twice?

I'll buy a switch 2 but I'm still keeping my switch
Same.
200 is rookie numbers.
And how many do you have, Big t?
