Frankly I do t understand why #8 is such low odds and getting hyped. He just had his first race the end of January THIS year, and has had but 3 races:a 6f in the mud. A one miler (Gotham) in the mud, and one 1-1/8 miler (Blue Grass). He only won the 6f race. No horse who didn’t race the year before has ever won the Derby, and he’s a bug-time bounce candidate for me. If he wins or is even in the money, he’s a better horse than the 2 favorites! He’s a toss for me.
