Excellent video thank you. Just one thing, I was terrified that while you were unwrapping the new blade, that your wiper arm was going to spring down on to the windscreen. If it had, it could have caused some damage. A good tip is to gently lower the wiper arm after you have removed the old blade before lifting it again to fit the new one.
This is a very good instructional video. I noticed access to the wipers were impossible and tried to stop them by turning off the power while they were moving. Lol, after a couple of failures trying that I went to UA-cam and found this video first. Thanks for sharing because people will tear up their hoods trying to pull up the wipers! I hope they do their research and find good info like yours.
Very informative. I didnt even know about holding the wiper stock to make them stand up like that. I just got my 16 optima like a week ago and I'm completely new to the newer cars. So used to driving old 80s and 90s Hondas.

Just confirming Just press the button 2 times (turns red, on position without the engine running) Then press it one more time until the button turns off And pull up the wipers switch for 2-3 seconds, the wipers will move to a vertical position and stay there until you activate them again.

Thanks for instructions. My Kia Optima bought in Sweden has switched this upside down, it therefore worked out when I held the handle downwards.

The same steps just push it to the aux mode. Let me know if that works. Just don't start the car
