My take on a day trade, short term, high leverage, options trading strategy. Buy a call contract then sell it later (you make money if stock goes up) Buy a put contract then sell it later (you make money if stock price goes down) Expiration date (the longer the contract is, the less leverage you get if stock moves, dont buy too far out if stock moves in the opposite direction or doesnt move at all. For day trading, buy and sell same week contracts and buy and sell them the same day) Exercise price, the price it needs to hit when contract expires to still hold value. (Try to stay near in the money to enter and exit positions easily) Trade "gaps" in price. When there is a clear movement toward the direction you are buying and selling. Then exit before you think the price will go the way you think.
Man I am just in minute 1 and i already love the content. Great character and knows how to hook people right from the start. This video is an example of selling a product even before it has been manufactured. the pitch is amazing bro. Keep it up
6:40 This is completely wrong. You said the exact opposite of what is true. The further out you go the more risk there is. That is why the premium paid is higher when the expiration date is farther away.
This is actually not entirely true.....the further out you go, the more muted the Deltas will be on option contracts. This means their prices will move more slowly than options expiring sooner.
My advice is not to enter the market without basic knowledge. trading is a zero sum game. It’s complex, so you need experienced hands to understand the market trends and different algorithm. What a party wins, the other loses. So the competition is fierce here.i did not know all this thats why i was losing all those times . always look for assistance for a superior it goes a long way and save you a lot of time

Question: selling call option at strike price lower than the current stock price ? How that will work? You don’t have to sell the stock if it doesn’t hit the strike price?

You can sell in-the-money call options if you're super bearish on a stock...although I would not recommend this. If the stock price does fall below the strike price by the expiration date, then you'll just keep the credit you sold the call for and walk away. Otherwise, you will have to sell shares at the strike price on expiration day.

The good about Options trading is you can make good part-time money being a seller. The selling side has a high sucess rate. The bad is you need someone else to lose money buying a call/put contract. It's a zero sum game. If the call/put buyer wins big, the seller loses big. However, majority of the time the buyer loses.
You ever hear of picking up pennies in front of a steam roller? I'd rather buy a bunch of options and own the convexity than sell options, picking up small premiums, only to eventually see all that get erased when one trade goes against me. Negative convexity is no joke. You've got to be careful selling options.

No, there is no margin interest when selling options. You only get charged interest if you have a stock position where you're using margin (borrowed money) to hold the position.
14:40 so from what i understand up until now selling calls is essentially making money off predictions? If you are wrong you have to sell those shares you put up for contract at market price but if you are right then you DONT sell but still make money?
starting early is literally the best thing you can do for yourself. don't let anyone tell you otherwise...Trading seems a bit too clouded to me with all these figures going around plus my busy schedule, an hour in a day was just all I needed, now my equity earns for me even more than the time I dedicate it at work. If you want to open and close the same options position within a single trading day....and be able to do so an unlimited number of times....then yes, you will need to satisfy the PDT rule and have a $25k account.
I'd like you to show how you close the position. In the last scenario you were buying Apple. If the price goes up over your price of $153 let's say it's at 250 and you want to sell the stock at the higher price. Do you buy at 153 (does the broker automatically use the option contract price?)? And then do you sell the stock immediately at 250? Every one shows how to open positions but not close (or execute) them. Thank you for further help!
Do you get the premium right away or at the end of the term? And let's say if you do end up selling puts and now you are obligated to buy the contract, do you still get the premium?
So many people charge a bunch of money for a class on options and you guys just did it for free. This actually made some sense to me too but I guess because I already do plenty of regular investing and I know some people that do options. I'm gonna see if I can make some money now thank you!
Best of luck to you in your trading, Eli! Just remember to keep your trade size SMALL! The most common mistake beginners make is trading too big and blowing up their accounts.
Okay, so I'm slightly confused on one thing. Buying calls and puts, if I wait for the contract to expire, if I'm making a profit, do I get my profit in money or stocks? I've been watching some videos on this, and a lot of them show buying strategies that have a pre-determined risk and a higher potential reward. But they never really explain what to do besides the pattern on what sets of calls and puts to buy. I'm a college student without a lot of money, but I would like to take what spare spending money I do have and see if I can make anything worthwhile to get a head start on my student loans. Since options trading can be done with a small limited risk, it seemed like a good idea to throw a couple dollars at and see what happens, but I want to make sure what form my potential profit would be.
How much risk you are willing to take in the financial market is the key to building a portfolio that will meet your needs, but you can’t just assess this once.
Many of us would love to manage our own investments, but it can be overwhelming to know where to begin. Do we use stocks, bonds, futures, commodities, or real estate? Should we go long, buy on margin, short a stock, or put everything into crypto?

Speaking of option trading, it's the best business in the world right now. I know a couple of friends who make a whole lot of money trading the financial market.
Does selling "obligate you to buy or sell"? Or does it "obligate you to uphold the contract"? Obviously if the buyer of the contract chooses not to buy/sell (a right but not an obligation) then you havent got an obligation to do either. The phrasing could be a hell of a lot better. 11:03 Sell Calls means youre obligated to sell at a strike price.... you mean if the strike price is hit, right? You later at 11:10 you say you dont have an obligation. Im assuming the obligation exists only if the stock price reaches the strike price, yes? Is a call still a call regardless if youre buying it or selling it? I mean, if I sell a call option, then from the buyers perspective he is buying a call option, right? Not buying a put option? Do you have to wait until expiration to exercise a contract as a buyer? What about as the seller? Is exercising a contract an action you must do manually or is it automated? You guys gloss over too much.
Halfway through the video (10:58) I had this question: "I don't understand when do I have to buy / sell the underlying shares? if I sell a call/put (which I previously have bought) after it reaches the strike price, then simply someone else gets the right to execute it. Am I wrong? Or maybe, can I sell a put/call before I actually buy one?" And then the rest of the video made it all clear ;) Thank you guys, awsome explanation!
This is the most concise and easy to follow along with video on options trading that Ive found on youtube. I am finally starting to understand this stuff a lot more. I appreciate you for this!
Many of us would love to manage our own investments, but it can be overwhelming to know where to begin. Do we use stocks, bonds, futures, commodities, or real estate? Should we go long, buy on margin, short a stock, or put everything into CDs?
The decision to invest is an acknowledgement that it comes with certain risks. Not all investments will do well and some may lose money. However, without risk, there would be no opportunity to potentially earn the higher returns that can help you grow your wealth.

My take on a day trade, short term, high leverage, options trading strategy.
Buy a call contract then sell it later (you make money if stock goes up)
Buy a put contract then sell it later (you make money if stock price goes down)
Expiration date (the longer the contract is, the less leverage you get if stock moves, dont buy too far out if stock moves in the opposite direction or doesnt move at all. For day trading, buy and sell same week contracts and buy and sell them the same day)
Exercise price, the price it needs to hit when contract expires to still hold value. (Try to stay near in the money to enter and exit positions easily)
Trade "gaps" in price.

Invest in a secure platform and broker where you will not lose your funds. I'm new to trading, but I met Mr. Raini Titan here on UA-cam where he teaches people to trade forex and stocks. which he guides me with a super platform and amazing strategy. I thought it was a scam, but finally I cashed my first $ 57,000 profit last week, he is very reliable and honest, he always tells me the actual time of buying and selling with 100 profit from his one-on-one master training.....Stay bless
You can sell in-the-money call options if you're super bearish on a stock...although I would not recommend this. If the stock price does fall below the strike price by the expiration date, then you'll just keep the credit you sold the call for and walk away. Otherwise, you will have to sell shares at the strike price on expiration day.
Insightfully amazing video.
Great
This will be a progressive investment...... interesting
Amazing video
It is always better to set a goal so you know why you are investing your money.
I would love to invest and possibly you can show me how. Thanks in anticipation.
I still watched it. Even though I know options. Was quite entertaining. Good upload Andrei!

What I believe when it comes to investment is that indepth diversification is key. That is why I have my interests set on multiple key sectors based on performance and projected growth. They range from the Auto EV sector, renewable energy, Tech and Health
It’s possible to achieve outstanding growth in portfolio diversification as long as you do things differently from the vast majority and stay consistent!
Yes true indeed in vesting in good company stocks & ETFs is a great idea and a good tra ding technique or system put in place would put you through many days of success

I’ve been trying to figure out options and your video did help out big time so I appreciate you guys and your collaboration three years later
The good about Options trading is you can make good part-time money being a seller. The selling side has a high sucess rate.
The bad is you need someone else to lose money buying a call/put contract. It's a zero sum game. If the call/put buyer wins big, the seller loses big. However, majority of the time the buyer loses.
Shh, don't tell my buyers that. I still need someone to sell to!
You ever hear of picking up pennies in front of a steam roller? I'd rather buy a bunch of options and own the convexity than sell options, picking up small premiums, only to eventually see all that get erased when one trade goes against me. Negative convexity is no joke. You've got to be careful selling options.
I’m just stating but when you say sell calls vs buy calls do you mean put or call like what’s on you mean by selling calls va buying calls

Learn the Greeks and how they affect a options contract before getting into options. This video is very shallow, there is more to options than just simply buying/selling calls and puts.

Hi Andrei. For me the option seller, is there an interest charge i have to pay my broker for option premium i receive?
No, there is no margin interest when selling options. You only get charged interest if you have a stock position where you're using margin (borrowed money) to hold the position.
14:40 so from what i understand up until now selling calls is essentially making money off predictions? If you are wrong you have to sell those shares you put up for contract at market price but if you are right then you DONT sell but still make money?
Nice Content♥️

Do the options trading count under the PDT rule?

I may not be so knowledgeable Trading Crypto, But having a broker Trade for me is the wisest decision I've made in my Trading journey.

Find an investment strategy that is right for you, then make it a point to base your investments on logic rather than emotion.

Well explained knowing the technical aspect of trading holds the key to understanding the option trading a big thumbs up 👍
I've been on this trading stuff and watching videos but get confused about the whole process
Speaking of option trading, it's the best business in the world right now. I know a couple of friends who make a whole lot of money trading the financial market.
Obviously trading in stocks is very volatile and risky to trade that's the reason most investors trade with a professional broker.
Who’s your broker ?
I've seen a lot of positive reviews about Nathan trading services. He must be exceptional for people to talk this much about him
Does selling "obligate you to buy or sell"?
Am I wrong? Or maybe, can I sell a put/call before I actually buy one?" And then the rest of the video made it all clear ;)
Thank you guys, awsome explanation!
This is the most concise and easy to follow along with video on options trading that Ive found on youtube. I am finally starting to understand this stuff a lot more. I appreciate you for this!
Really informative video as a basics approach. Does this mean you’ll start trading options regularly?
Maybe selling covered calls for super safe stocks but otherwise, not much more than that - probably...maybe... Idk yet lol

The decision to invest is an acknowledgement that it comes with certain risks. Not all investments will do well and some may lose money. However, without risk, there would be no opportunity to potentially earn the higher returns that can help you grow your wealth.
