  • Today we hold conversations with creatives and curators in the province, who are doing the work of both preserving and sharing stories of emancipation and the struggle to maintain freedom. Listen in on the conversation as we think ahead to the celebration of the first formal and national recognition of Emancipation Day.
If you haven't already, go ahead and register for The Main event that the Ontario Black History Society will be hosting for Emancipation Day on August 1 @ 6pm where we will celebrate the historical occasion.
