Case study: How routine monitoring increased understanding of compliance

Routine monitoring was an ambitious 12-month NRAR program that boosted the number of field staff monitoring and measuring compliance with the NSW water laws.
This program enabled NRAR to visit three times the number of properties as the previous year.
Field officers gathered data and assisted landholders with information about their rights and obligations under the water law.
