I saw E case cars in a display today at my local Walmart store. No Sth. Only mainline cars and two treasure hunts. Two Mercedes Benz 560 SEC AMG both are not the Sth version.

For the new mainlines this year I’m pretty sure there is supposed to be a Porsche 911 Dakar and a green Lamborghini gallardo
It's likely that Huracan will come with different wheels, I don't usually see those on supers... probably my favorite super for '24!
MORE videos like these please! Loved the content. Used to have so many HW Ferarri cars from 80's and 90's as a kid. Not sure where they are now though.
The one thing that gives me a small glimmer of hope that the Ferrari thing might have been more than just an early April Fool's Day joke (besides the fact that the Instagram poster never put up an "April Fool's" retraction) is that I strongly suspect that the Ferrari rights are up for bids again this year.
Even if I'm wrong and the rights aren't up for bids again, Mattel has always had the sublicensing option, which I suspect would have been too expensive for mainlines but it might be possible for premium.

i collect the jada micro transformers but i have hundreds of hotwheel batmobiles. on tfw theres actually a guy repainting hotwheels to be accurate transformers including some 3d printed parts

You think it's not worth their time? Maybe an RLC would be nice but maybe you are right with the regular mainline not to much detail on some of those. Does mini gt have the Ferrari license or any of the other diecast brands? 🤔 Would be cold from a collector's perspective though to see a hot wheels version of them (I do have a very old F40 matchbox casting from 1989 😅), thanks for watching mate 👍
@@TheWheelCollector all good, i have a dozen or so ferrari cars from hot wheels as i have collected from 1997 with the ferrari leicence. no scalping back then so i only have one of eack copy.. however the way hot wheels cast ferrari they sort of tooned them out with big rear ends and not to perfect scale unless it was the corgi testarossa variant. Bborago have the licence andthey do a perfect job. If marjorette had the licence also a perfect job but ifmattell gets thelicense ferrari would be scalped and that does not appeal to the ferrari motor group and if i was them i wouldnt want to bassociated with low end criminal minded collectors

It was in The Entertainer. I got 2 fiats, 2 Goldfinger DB5, 2 Porsche Key chains and a Plymouth Barracuda. But I made a beginners mistake on forgot about the treasure hunts because I thought it was case E (gold Fiat) when I should have been looking for the purple El Camino. 😂

Its their own trademark name for the paint they use i think
It is very close to Metallic so I guess they could have called it that, but here's the breakdown.
'It’s a semi transparent paint over a shiny zinc base. It is extremely important for the base to be smooth and shiny. This is more time consuming and expensive to do. And gives a very unique finish'

Hot wheels mainlines get worse as the cases progress in 2024. To many recolours & fantasy crap. Matchbox mainlines are way better & more exclusive as they don't release as many mainlines as hot wheels.
The Ferrari is a fake, fake news unfortunately.
Yeah usually a little buzz going around near April first did get me a little excited though 😂
