Both trucks have the same wheels & tyres, and our driving level is similar. The X-Maxx has been thoroughly tuned (wide axle kit / 50wt oil in shocks etc) but the XRT is completely stock (except for the servo). It shows that the X-maxx needs a lot of work to keep up with a stock XRT in a race!
I've been doing a LOT of research into which motor and esc combo from HW would be best fo my X Maxx. Do you guys think this max6 and 5690 is better than the max5 and 1100kv option? Is the max6 1250kv combo a pretty big improvement over the stock electronics? Thanks for the video guys!!!
We have the Max5 G2 / 1100 in our blue XRT and it's a beast, although it's quite heavy. The higher centre of gravity of the X-Maxx means it can't use as much power, so we prefer the Max6 / 1250 combo. It's lighter, got way more power than stock and it's super smooth. 👍🏼
Awesome runs, that Xmaxx is awesome for bashing, but my XRT is a beast on the track👍🏽👍🏽
When it comes to the Xmaxx if you can't beat them you beat them into submission lol.
