- If you like to wear a scarf under your hat and look for some elegant headscarf styles, this video is for you. You will see how you can wear a Sloane Ranger headscarf style with a hat or flat cap. Sloane Ranger Head scarf style is a vintage head scarf tying from the 1970s and 1980. For this scarf tutorial I use a silk square scarf Hermes “Sur un Tapis Volant” and “Charreada” , 35”x 35”(89cm x 89cm)

Lovely video, I love the quote, too, and the music. I can’t afford designer scarves, but I have just as much fun with my Amazon ones (genuine mulberry silk only, though). I used to find any scarf I wanted there, but since the increased popularity of my favorite accessory this year, the stock is much depleted.

Kimberly, I've never been into designer labels and I remember agonizing over the decision to buy my first Hermes scarf. After some cajoling from my husband, I was persuaded to throw caution to the wind and I'm glad that I did. An Hermes scarf is a long term investment in yourself and I've never regretted it. I feel extra special whenever I wear it and I know with care it will last me a lifetime. My scarves have outlived everything else in my closet! Hiya Elena Again apologies for not being in touch for a while ,things just seem to get busy and I don't get onto youtube as much as I would like. Any way here I am again and what a lovely Elegant,Chic and Feminine style the "Sloan Ranger" one is. The hat and scarf styles are wonderful. I love the scarves especially the brown coloured one you use first and at the end. I loved the fact that you actually wore your headscarf outside as well,a lovely touch. May be you could do a little more outside filming occasionally,weather permitting???? I was wondering though Elena does the scarf slip at all as it is only tied with a single knot? Do you find that you have to keep adjusting the scarf or does the hat keep it in place ok. I don't use this style a lot myself as I find the Kelly Style is good at staying in place once tied. Hi Headscarf! Happy to see you again! Things are getting busy here too, even with the second lockdown. It sounds strange, but apparently we are getting use to it. I love this video too. For some reason I haven't worn this scarf very often. Probably it was waiting for this hat to be worn. :) The single knot behaves better with he hat for sure. Also, keeping my posture helps a lot. :) I've tried this knot on crepe de chine silk scarf, and that was great. I forgot about it for at least one hour, before readjusting it. Thank you! I usually separate them by seasons and store them in big boxes. I keep the scarves that I wear on special hangers, that are used for pants. I will do a video on it soon, just need to get everything look nice :) How do you store your scarves? Elena
