I was reluctant to even like this video after completion tbh but then again the guy did die so a can’t complain
Gen V that first season was gland
bro the boys seems to be obsessed with making every damn character a rapist, pedophile or pervert. shit weird ngl 😭
Now I’m not saying everybody is like this but I feel like if you give someone powers and they think they’re better than everyone then they think they can get whatever they want and deserve whatever they want and this life style breeds this behavior or I don’t know that’s just how I see it
Garth Ennis is an edgelord, no way around it.
id argue the show subverts that a tad bit, but not by much
@@digikeemertrue
The whole comic has been like that the whole time. Have you been living under a rock
My theory for what I think will be revealed is that Brink was basically training Golden Boy in the woods in a way that's similar to an abusive coach in sport. I think Golden Boy's breakdown was an allegory for CTE. There's a scene earlier in episode 1 where he hugs Brink and behind him there's all this football memoribilia and then Golden Boy makes a disappointed face.
Yeah no
How is everything the boys related so fucking good
We’re blessed
The creator really hates superheroes doesn’t he
You should read his punisher max series
@@KeyIssues Why
@@KeyIssuesI really wanna see a crossover of mcu or dcu with this or the boys just for reactions from actual heroes
Comic black noir and john godolkin are like the versions of edp445!!!!
Its even better they filmed this at uoft
missed the chance to make a G-Unit joke
John Gogolkin reminds me of real life monstrous counterparts like John Money and Alfred Kinsey.
Do yourselves a favour and don't Google them.
I find godolkkn the professor x and jeffery epistein mashup
G-Style is such a “white guy tries to write black characters” thing
I assumed they wouldn’t go the G-Men route, WAYYYYYYYYY too dark for the show
What will they do now that Chance has passed away?
His character is gonna be written off the show.
This will be how Gen V ends.
This isn’t the first spin off
@@Yeahright999what is the other
@@XXWeaponXIV it’s called the boys diabolical.
Pretty much john godolkin is Jeffery epistein if he formed the X men
6 episodes in, and the show took it in another path. Nothing to do with this.
God bless you and Jesus loves you very much. Put your faith in him and be saved ❤
No thanks
So can someone explains to me why the military forces k1lled everyone ?
I literally did
@@KeyIssues thx about I literally didn't understand 🙃
Okay I guess I'll watch Gen v😅
The show wasn’t that good. Maybe it’s less brutal… ish. But it’s still awkward. And just have unnecessary sexual moments. Idk the comic still stands well. The show didn’t make it better or do anything too interesting. Let alone the characters not all being great
Yeah it's basically to set up a Supe killing virus
I disagree the boys tv show is about as well written as the comics. Just longwr while doing exactly what it satierizes
Watching this reminded me how bad the original comics were. I am sure Eric kripke will do a much more respectable job with this arc than edge lord ennis did
Having an all African American team is racist? As a Celtics fan I felt that 😔
No, it’s that they are placed within the team specifically bc of their race that makes it racist
Stereotypes aren’t bigoted they’re just annoying/stupid so “urban” isn’t racism.racism is an ideology where people are judged by race when it’s an irrelevant factor.
They nailed tech knite in the show one of the more degenerate ones in the comic 😂
source material will always be better, tv are too scared to cross the line and politics.
I knew it
Second spin off
i really rather enjoyed this show
The Boys is so far so much better than the comics.
I really want the spin off to end the way it did in the comics it literally be the perfect way for an unnecessary spin-off
I find the spin off necessary, it’s telling interesting stories within that world. But if the quality drops a few seasons down the line then sure… burn it all down haha
@@KeyIssues that’s my main issue a spin-off shouldn’t have done it the main show should have world building then spin-off. Tbh that’s my biggest issue the boys show is not that good and neither are the comics, they both have there strengths and weakness but saying one is better than the other is a bit of a stretch. Tbh only thing watchable is billy butcher
The last episode was pronoun brainwashing
The My Hero Academia we deserved.
Iam not a massive fan I hate all these teen tv shows with a passion
I don’t think this show is “teen tv.”
This show isn’t teen tv you’ve just got an agenda
I mean a teen drama show, like euphoria and all that, there just so overplayed and stupid
Good lord, The Boys comic was terrible. I know that has been said a lot, but... Good lord, The Boys comic was terrible.
The boys comics: "eh just kill them all I cba"
