Beautifully balanced sound, great videoing, intricate arrangements, superb original compositions, dynamic performances and overall brilliant musicianship. Certainly an inspiring concert!
The piano player is giving me Chris Cornell vibes with his look. And I'm loving that there seems to be a strong crop of younger jazz talent coming to the fore in all the genres of jazz.
Yo Mr Emnet, Heard you on a regular FM jazz radio station while driving one evening. Y'all sound bEAUTIFUL here! Stay blessed pls. Maybe send one back, k? - -jeff, NY
that's the best of the best of TODAY's musicians. if you don't enjoy the masterful interplay of this kind of music - you probably don't like this music :)) plenty of hiphop, lofi, pop, avantgarde, electronic artists everywhere, some even on this channel, don't be lazy and go check for yourself :)
Yikes. Those who know, remember, and understand the roots are the present poets and innovators. Respectfully, listen to some more "old" school, or better try some, ... the try transcribing some of this music, and then opine. Come on please!
Philip Norris is incredible!!!!
He's amazing!
Each of these musicians and all trios are unique. They have a special gift of bringing joy to their listeners.
Was fortunate enough to be there in person! The Bimhuis and these guys are great.

Wonderful trio. Impecable rhythm, dynamics and above all transmits blues and tradition. Congratulations!
Incredible musicians! Emmet has (at least a part of) his brains in his fingers like an octopus 😅🎹🎶
A superb jazz trio, able to highlight different artists, vocalists or instruments and play themselves a refreshing jazz...
Beautifully balanced sound, great videoing...It's a pleasure to watch
