Man, I've really missed when these music videos were as lively and fun as this. I get that the more simple videos where you're just singing into the mic in a studio are easier and just as profitable to make, but there's a true passion and heart to seeing you jam out at the beach.
Yeah I love Jonathan but there's definitely been a dip in effort on the video side of things. I get it but at the same time I miss videos like Stand Out and Kiss The Girl.

@@sebastianb.3978 You are right about Wolf Within (missed that one) but Storm the Castle's video was not done by him (though the Starship Velociraptor stuff is all pretty legendary).
There was once a time where all his videos were really high effort, with him playing every instrument on multiple angles, with an additional "storyline" kinda thing occasionally. It had way more energy and I miss that.
That being said I really like this video even if it is simple. The song itself is pretty wonderful too.
I like listening to his videos while I'm doing something else so I don't really watch them. I do watch them once though but I'm just here because of his voice.
I don’t disagree, but you have to remember that these kinds of videos take *far* longer to create, which is time he could be using to make music. I prefer things as they are, it lets him keep a steady pace.

There's something about your energy that always perfectly encapsulates the emotion of a song. Particularly the jump at 0:35. There's such a build up to it, and both your music and vocals really lean into that. I could feel myself jumping with you. It's always a first time listening to even your covers because you put so much of yourself into it. And of course, you had some awesome collaboration happening with this one! Just, amazing work as always. Y'all killed this one!
