- This video is for parents and teachers who want to learn some new ways to help their students learn multiples of 9! A lot of students know the 9s trick with counting fingers, but did you know there are other ways to memorize your 9s multiplication facts?! I will show you 3 different ways that 9s multiplication facts are so cool and have neat patterns which will help you remember them! I work with students all the time on multiplication practice, and every student has their favorite way to remember them. Which one is yours?

amazing video i love it makes 9s multiplication so easier
I have my own way to add harder numbers (example 993 + 746). What i do is for the 993 i make it 990 and i keep the 3. and for the 746 i make it 740 and kept the 6. So after, I add 740 + 990 which equals 1,730. (if you dont know how to add this, do 700 + 900 or whatever number, and keep whatever 2 digit number you have. When i added 700 + 900 i got 1,600 and what you need to do with the 1,600 is (1,600 + 40 + 90 = 1,730 and add the ones place (6 + 3) And what you need to do for the 1,730 is add it with the 9 which equals 1,739! So like this comment if this works! :)

learned this from my ming is a warehouse: multiplying by 11 (2 digit numbers only) e.g.: 45 and then 4+5=9 and then you put the awnser to the middle: 495 and thats the awnser!! e.g: 79: 7+9=18 put 18 in the middle so its 7189 which is not the right awnser take only the 8 in the middle and the 1 u have to take 7+1=8 so its 889 TADA!!!

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Are you asking if there is a trick like this for 7 times any number? If so, I'm sorry, but I don't know of anything similar that works for 7.

How bout 4's I forgot it (I'm going to 3rd grade)
There's not a "trick" for 4s like the one I show here for 9s. I would suggest multiplying by 2, then doubling your answer. For example, 8 x 4 is the same as the answer for 8 x 2 doubled. 8 x 2 = 16; and 16 + 16 = 32. 8 x 4 = 32. Hope that helps!

You mean is there a "trick" for all of the multiples of 3? There's not one that works like this with any other number. This particular trick only works with 9s facts times 1 - 10
