It's extremely rare to see a song that gets a remake where the song completely improves, THIS is a perfect example of a remake of a song, improved in every way
Overall, This song is mostly a complete upgrade to the original. However, the drowning segment feels like it's lost some effect with it being a bit more intense and less lo-fi. Just my opinion though. Still some absolutely exquisite work here, Case. Edit because I want to be honest: Something else about that drowning segment, while the new vocals are (ironically) a breath of fresh air, i feel like the old vocals pulled off that part a bit better, particularly at 1:13's held notes. However, this update more than makes up for it with that kickass bassline after that segment.
this new version is fantastic, love most of it over the original. my only gripe is the drowning segment. I think the new voice is fantastic, but I think what would have made it better was giving bf and ben more pitchbends during that part specifically. ben’s vocals in the drowning segment in the og had a lot of emotion behind them, but in this new version they sound a bit more lifeless and robotic. i think adding pitch bends during that part specifically would make it sound more natural and increase the emotion of that part like the og. overall tho this is a huge improvement, wonderful work!

I have to be honest, this feels like a sidegrade more than an upgrade. Don't get me wrong, this is awesome! But the older version has that incredible lo-fi feel while this feels hi-fi if you know what I mean. Basically both songs are incredible!

This is a great remix but I have one complaint and that's Ben's vocals in the drowning section. In the original it sounded like he had water in his lungs when he was singing and it fit him really well. It actually sounded like he was drowning. Is it me, or did I trick myself into remembering something that never was? Because I remember during the drowning section, after the first repetition there’s a heart monitor that beeps to the beat until flatlining at the laugh.
So this is one of those mods where you just don't hear anything about it for months after it initially released, and then suddenly it silently drops something crazy out of nowhere.
My thoughts First (Monster/Demon Ben): 9/10 Not a fan of it at first (i missed the old voice), but I listened to it again with this in mind, and it somehow improved. Drowning: 10000000/10 LOVE IT. THE ACTUAL BEN VOICE MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER. Second (Monster/Demon Ben): 7/10 I feel like Ben should've gotten more vocals in. Overall, epic remaster! My only issue is that all of the parts feel way too short.
1:05 is so much better in he V2, it actually feels like something's changed and Ben sounds like a kid which is much more fitting than him sounding demonic despite just being a kid lol

This is a real bop! As much as I like the old vocals in the drowning part, this one feels more faithful to the source material in a way. I haven't really read the ben drowned creepypasta but people seem to forget Ben isn't really a monster, not intentionally at least. He's a kid who had met "a terrible fate" and is stuck in a perpetual torment. For those who actually read the creepypasta feel free to correct me if I interpret it wrong.
