I’ve been listening to the Fray for years, but now that my mom died last fall, this song hits different. Strangely enough, I was so focused on caring for her and making her comfortable while she was dying that I barely had time to register that I was losing my mother. I totally neglected my own perspective. This song reminds me that there’s a place for my pain, too.
I adore this song because it kind of inspired one of the GREATEST songs I've ever written. I love these guys, and this is probably one of the PRETTIEST voices I've heard from the '00's.
This wonderful song took on new meaning recently when my boyfriend lost his mother. They had a turbulent relationship, and we're still just teenagers. I'm sending him this video tonight
This is way too inspiring. I know I'm gonna need this song when I grow up...sadly. Though I hope I'm wrong. But I'm scared I'll forget about it. :( I love the Fray!!! You guys are brilliant!!! ;D (Closest word in the human language to describing the Fray.)
After a long day at work and find myself hard to go to sleep, I would just lay on my apartment floor with one light stand in the corner of the room and just stare at the ceiling.
I have never listened to this song only once. Gotta repeat a couple times.

Isaac's voice gives me goosebumps!

@emskiie to me its about how this guy is sad because his love died young, and how he's sad that he lost her, and is struggling to cope.

@Yaymeproducer that's how I think of the song, too. Such a beautiful one, a part of many
