Pru was a badass AND the best sister. She had the most responsibilities too
show never recovered from her death. biggest mistake a television series has ever made.
I often wonder how the show would have been had Prue lived. Paige definitely added somethin different but Prue was one of a kind.
Well the show was good with her and it would of only get better and better, loved Paige thou.
Alyssa should have left the show instead with rose being added and given Phoebes powers

I honestly would have loved to see Shannon , Holly and Roses chemistry and dynamic together as sisters ....
I think it would have been better than what we got with Alyssa to be honest 🤔
@@joshfig4428 we may have a chance if they decide to do a reboot together; the three of them do tours together so who knows; would love something before it becomes too late for Shannen
for always and forever, it was "dont EVER fuck with Prue!" she's still my fave to this day.

As brilliant a Producer/Creator Arron Spelling was...the most stupid HR mistake he ever made was getting rid of Shannon Doherty and at the least, not convincing her to make cameos in death. That also pertains to whomever took over after Arron passed.
This was an amazing, iconic show thru out, but Shannon Doherty maintained her prominence as the most fantastic character and the most fantastic for the role.
It was always clear to me that the writers/those in charge, went out of their way to write roles for Alyssa that would antagonize Shannon, for several seasons. As I recall, Shannon dated the actor who played Balthezar, so right there, I knew there was disrespect going on.
There was absolutely no reason that Alyssa couldn't be put in her place for the sake of the show and the audience. It's done with any employee/colleague that harms a company, business, job, no matter how powerful they are. All the women at anytime should and could have been "put in their place". It wouldn't have taken much and Alyssa's character could have still made the same progression of power and importance given time.
She was hired as "the weakest witch" and couldn't handle the position. So she FKNG SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN THE JOB.
ALYSSA MILANO WILL ALWAYS GO DOWN AS THE ACTOR WHO MANIPULATED AND DESTROYED ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS OF IT'S TIME, FOR THAT AGE GROUP.
As the show lost audience, ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS DO ANYTHING TO BRING BACK PRUE, EVEN IF IT MEANT THE CHARACTER OF PHOEBE PASSING.
KHARMA'S A BITCH. ALYSSA HASN'T HAD ANY POSITIVE PR SINCE THE SHOW BUT SHANNON DOHERTY WILL LIVE FOREVER.

I LOVE PRUE why they had to kill this character, she was like a big sister for me 😢😢😢
I love how she did most of her stunts.. Now I see what Shannen talks about when its come to "lack of passion and work ethic" from some. You notice her "sister" deff had stunt doubles for very minor cases... probably was a difficult to work with and refused to do stunts herself. I actually heard in season 8, Milano
signed a contract for no stunts all season

No, levitation as a secondary power wouldn't make sense because telekinesis already grants her a degree of levitation
Right, that's why they gave it to Phoebe. She needed an active power.
Nah, it's the other way around. Phoebe levitating shows that she had telekinetic power. Only difference is that phoebes needed direct contact.
@@eyesofthebeast I guess so, like Paige's teleporting was just another type of Prue's telekinesis, which she also developed into Astral projection.
@@michaelleary9233 And how pipers ability was actually not about stopping time, but stopping molecules; which is telekinesis on a very precise level which makes sense with pipers neurotic personality.

I always wonder what her character would have become had she not been killed by Shax. I also wonder if the show would have lasted 8 seasons with Doherty.
Paige would’ve loved her in 2 seconds, I hated the characters didn’t meet.
I'll never understand why they made prue learn how to fight like that. Martial arts was a Phoebe's thing, and than suddenly prue started kicking ass, and better than Phoebe!?
Yes I agree. To me they made Prue too badasss, too perfect. She could do everything.
pure was the telekinetic sister. it makes sense she would be a martial artist-- and she also took the craft the most seriously. Prue was a perfectionist in life-- and it passed down into her love for the craft.
Prue was the absolute BEST. Shannen gone, the show lost its spicy.
this is one of those shows that will go down in history as making the biggest mistake when it comes to characters and story writing
