Yunli's E6 also has priority over her A2, so doing a Cull with E6 will not result in her losing her A2 pity. In this specific instance, the enemy's death ability does not count for E6.
For E6 Yunli, her A2 is still unique to her eidolon as it allows her to Cull on ally turns or on turns where enemies cannot use their abilities or use Talents - for instance when recovering from freeze or on death from DoT. Likewise, her E6 is unique to her A2 as it allows her to Cull without having to Slash first.
I have been playing testing my E1S1 Yunli and was facing the same issue of not looking at the action bar on the top left. So the main tip for Yunli is to see the action bar before popping the Yunli Ultimate
That's funny I just caved for Yunli's LC minutes before this video uploaded. Played / tested her so much yesterday I found her to be the most fun character so far. I was just going to tap the water on LC banner and I got the destruction LC at 15 pity ..... unfortunately it was Clara's. That bait really sucks. Though I guess I could try Yunli + Clara now without sustain maybe. Usually do not roll weapons at all in these games (got 3 in Genshin as day 1 player, no breaks) so this is a rare one. But since I won 50/50, got that super early 75/25 loss, and it's the most fun character, I figured if I get any LC at all now is the time. Still got enough for Feixiao + Lingsha and they do look pretty cool, but then I could go broke on jades so I'm thinking about skipping them since I skipped break playstyle entirely and Lingsha is for break, and Feixiao wants Lingsha even if she isn't. Unless I don't like either 2.6 character then I'll save in that patch instead.
I also have her and i don't have S1, if u have huohuo i don't think that S1 is needed (and if u don't have huohuo just use lynx and then u also don't need her LC), if u play correctly u should have 100% ult uptime every time the boss atk so the extra taunt value for her sig doesn't make any difference If u still wanna go for her sig go for it, i just wanted to point out that cuz i saw a lot of people saying that she needs her LC what i disagree

Honestly s1 is being quite overrated Aoe attacks are very very common in hsr You on an average go from 1/3 of ST hits hitting you to 2/3rd of them hitting you with s1,which does not make nearly as much of a difference in practice as people are making it out to be
