Always get blown away by how much the production value jumps not just from month to month, but video to video. Insane stuff OC.
Man, your editing and overall production quality is astounding. Great stuff.
Thanks for this review. I have been looking specifically at the seat and this is the only review of any type I have found on it.
I know this review is for the 6s-160, but after watching this video and the one you did for the 6s-80, you convinced me to pull the trigger on a 6s-120 (figured it would be a happy medium). Thanks for putting this video out there, you're doing a great job!
Great review extremely thorough as always! I'm very curious about 6Sigma cockpits now.
Got myself a 6s-120 three weeks ago and i will said that i do agree with your negative points, lucky my bucket seat was not sratched in transport but the back padding is not enough for long sessions
Another thing about the seat is that on the right side there nothing to lock the seat in place so there some movement
Packaging was excellent but instruction are just a plan and you have to figuere everything by yourself
Customer service have to said that is horrible
My rig was missing the mousse pad and the performance plate add-on as they where both suppose to be included with my 6s-120 (i ask them before buying and have screenshot)
Just received the shifter mount and even if there website have this writen : The 6S-120 includes a performance pedal integration kit that accommodates ALL high-end pedal installation
They told me that it was juste the 6s-160 ... and finnaly after 6 emails agree to send me the performance plate and the mousse pad ...
You know what they don't answer anymore and still didn't shipped them !
Quality is good but have to said that customer service is bad don't expect to paid for what you see on there web site picture and reality are not the same.
Hope that help to make your choice
I absolutely love my 6 Sigma 6S-80 cockpit.
I've done a few mods like adding nylon washers between the pedal plate to frame at the pivot points.
I also added some of those same nylon washers under the bolts used to secure the pedal plate to angle adjusters.
That mod removes the possibility of scratching the profile during future pedal deck adjustments.
I also added another support angle to the underside front (only) of each seat mounting profile to spread the load evenly.
It is a great product... with even better customer service.
That carpet flex ! Pattern on 80’s point
Ive been waiting for like a month to get my dd1! My bucket seat my vq pro pedal im so excited!!! I didnt cheap out anywere 🔥
Great choice for a rig, and support the USA. Would have definitely gone for this over an Rseat one at same price. My seat doesn’t flex but I use a real sparco wrc. My shifter mount flexes though. Pretty sure it came from Rseat missing threads and taps for one intended mounting point. Hope to see some more Iracing content soon 🤙
The manufacturing isn't North American though. It looks like they use the same manufacturer and designs as GT Omega does. GT Omega uses a Chinese manufacturer, and 6Sigma also say they use a Chinese manufacturer for their stuff.
Lol, "support the USA"
>company is located in Canada and uses Chinese-made aluminum profiles.
Hey man love your videos will you do a vid on the 6-s slim?
when you answered to my comment saying ''sooner than you think'' i litteraly wasn't expectig it that soon!!!
Are you able to mount a shifter plus a handbrake? Not sure if there was enough space for both.
Planning to buy a butt kicker and using the same cockpit. Where do you recommend placing it and what accessories should I need to fully utilize the butt kicker?
I've made a massive mistake and bought a moza r9 wheel and crp pedals thinking i could use them on my new more "sturdy" desk. but the pedals are going to be a pain in the butt to try and mount to my floor, i also use a office desk chair and im worried the brake is so stiff i will hit the brake and push my chair backwards. thinking about abandoning the new desk and just ordering one of these. but i know ill miss my desk because i do do other things on my pc. any suggestions on how i could make the moza crp pedals work on the floor, before i sink another 2k into my "updating" project?
also i have a GOXLR audio mixer and a stream deck do they make any sort of mounts for that stuff?
Are you planning on doing another Black Friday video this year?
What monitor size/resolution x 3 are you using in this video? Thanks.
Yo OC racing, when are you gonna upload the Moza SRP pedal review?
Nice review. Off topic, but how would you say the SimForge pedals compare to the VNM pedals? I'm in the market for some new pedals. Yes, I did see your review, that's why I'm asking. :)
They're both good, I would go with the VNM pedals if your budget allows. Higher build quality and attention to detail. I've personally been using them since I originally made my review.
Are direct drive wheels and their reccomended stands louder or more quiet than say a g29 on a next level racing stand?
Besides Will from Boosted Media, Big Mike from SimRacing604 and Race Beyond Matter you'd became my favourite new simracing content creators of the past year. I like your style, you're funny, brash and spoiled. I bet you're the youngest at home. You know what I'd liked most of you? The '100k in 2022?', and when you said something like: 'this is my channel and if you don't agree on my opinion, start your own!' Good for you! You didn't reached the 100k, but 50+k is also very nice! And I love you don't excuse your self on every topic that may be controversial. Sorry for my poor english, greetings from Europe!
Appreciate the comment! I may or may not be the youngest 👀😂
Unfortunately the 100k didn’t happen this year but you best believe I’ll try my hardest in 2023 🤝
Thanks for the kind words :)
Do you think it could be compatible with my Motion V3 platform/seat thing?
Is there a way to get it delivered to Australia?
as one of your subscribers i deserve this, thanks
Does anyone know if you could put a regular car seat on the cockpit? Thanks!
What 3 screens are you using on this rig?
Smashed that like GT omega prime SIM cockpit is on sale 4 people in Europe 🌍 quite cheap
Any good cockpits around 200$ or under that wouldn't break from 8nm csl fanatec
Hey OC, love the videos but are you ever gonna do a Review on the TX Racing wheels for Xbox?
If i'm not mistaken, the TX has since been discontinued and replaced by the T128. I made a full review on the T128 a few weeks ago!
He actually did one on the tx/t300 already, just search for tx/t300 review. Unless you mean the tmx…
@@Micah_clark I watched that one earlier, i meant the Tx Racing wheel leather edition
@@replayzbruh yes, the tx and t300 are the same wheel, I have a leather edition tx and the only difference is the degrees of rotation and actual wheel rim
I'm looking for a beginer wheel and shifter I'm looking at the pxn v10 and the logitech g920 wich one do you recommend.
The difference between this rig and a trak racer tr160 looks like the logo pretty much identical rigs very very subtle difference if any
The end caps 😭😆 I just got mine and it’s every day lol
Yeah, though to be fair, endcaps have been a problem in most aluminum profile rigs I’ve owned.
Anybody know how big of triples the 6s-triple stand can hold? They wont email me back
I purchased my bucket seat from Corbeau and it also was not padded at all... I am thinking that must be industry standard. Mine was in a large plastic bag inside the box though.
Yeah, a real bucket seat for a race car is usually a literal sheet of aluminum formed to the shape. There's minimal padding. I've ridden in some bespoke race cars that had a second seat and both were just straight up bare aluminum buckets.
ANY BODY know a budget aluminum rig that supports a r9 and sim lab seat ?
Which game is it? drives me crazy. Does not look like iracing. Is it AM2 or ACC?
I completed the checkout process then to find they don’t ship to Australia. 😭. Your video helped make the plunge to buy but that’s unfortunate this happened at the end.
It’s definitely a nice rig, but let’s be honest, all alu profile rigs are pretty much the same (with the same size profiles) besides the pedal plate and wheel mounting option and the quality of those pieces.
Also you don’t really answer the question in the title, is it “THE BEST” value for money rig? In 6sigma’s line up, probably… but just because they offer a more expensive version and a cheaper version, doesn’t mean the ‘in between’ version is automatically the best ‘value for money’ option though… When compared to all alu profile rigs out there, is it “THE BEST” value for money? Probably not. There are rigs out there that use the same size profiles and are way cheaper with similar or better quality pedal plates and wheel mounting options. Obviously availability and shipping are a factor, but those can change dramatically depending on a lot of external factors the companies often have no influence on.
Anyway, the production value of your video is once again off the charts! Maybe 6Sigma should hire you to make product videos for them :D
I looked at the site. The 6S-160 is nice and all, but tell me about the 6S Slim. Thats in my price range, and it will work with my CSL-DD.
@@OCRacing I appreciate it, but I wasnt hoping you'd look into the rig. Im impressed that 6Sigma has a product at the sub $400 level.
it look like your seat and pedals set at truck setup and you race car on your game and your wheel is at you knees with low control in steering
8:02 Man got cake
Trak racer is still the king in best value aluminum cockpits IMO
The name reminds me of "Six Sizzling Sausages"
Playseat Sensation Pro!!
Nice
Did they intentionally put the 666 in there?
What's the difference between this and the 6s 80
Base is double the size 160 profile, uprights are bigger, adjustable aluminum pedal tray.
@@joshuak4372 so would it make a difference for a moza r9 except the pedal tray
@@tigerfighter77 the 6s80 will handle the moza r9 no problem and up to 15nm wheel bases.
So I own the 60" 6Sigma Monitor stand and I am greatly disappointed in it. There is no way it would be able to reliably hold the 60" unless they are including it holding them after bending.
I didnt leave my TV's on this but if you can afford 3 60" monitors then you can afford a good TV stand and not a cheap one that struggles with 37" monitors...
it annoys me how many people talk of this one when it's not available in most of the world, honestly the only sim related product worth buying that can't be gotten in every country
OMG FIANLLYYYYYYYY A CHEAP RIG THAT I CAN ACTUALLY FRICKING BUY. oh god thnx for the blessings 🥰
Please look into getting a pop filter and noise gate for your mic, especially when saying lots of S’s or P’s. Also look into RTX voice or Nvidia broadcast to remove background noise and stuff. Had to turn the volume way down because the audio is too “raw”, this is sim racing not ASMR my guy.
900 isn’t affordable, that’s what I call expensive maybe if it was 500 then that would be affordable.
they make cheaper models i have the cheapest (6s-slim) and it works fine! got it for around 400$ and that’s with bucket seat
Sim lab p1x is the best!
I found a sim rig that seems very good for little money (500€), it's the oplite Gtr S3. if you could check it out it would be awesome!
value and $999 in the same sentence doesn't work
the yaw2 next year is $1700. if you're going to spent $999, you might as well spent an extra $700 and get a full motion sim.. not only that.. yaw2 actually looks like it's going to revolutionize sim motion.
Elske deg mann
$767.00 🍁
after your 10,000th use of "with that being said" you must now find another way to link on to a new sentence.
cant trust "reviewers "
Plz don’t start your your video with that sound as it sounds like the danish emergency alarm
The part at 8:02 made my week 😂
I don’t want to talk about it…
I literally laughed out loud! one of the best reviewers in the business!
