Really like the way your discussion presents the whole idea of moving over to an ebike. We are not all competitive but share the same desire to be on two wheels and to look forward to the next ride.

@@BoernyOnAir have you seen the Ceramic White up close? Is this a full matte color or a a bit glossy? Its the only color that is difficult to understand on their website. That Caribbean Blue though 😍
I‘ve got it already. 😍 The white Color is glossy. Only the black parts are matte. I like it very much.

If you can not get hold of the Supercharger 2 look at secondhand Super charger Ist generation. We got one each in Nov 2017 and the bikes are great. Battery life is excellent and the battery discharge over the last two winters has been very low. We got the Gates belt drive because in our part of East Lancs England ( Pendle Hill country ) we have hills and plenty of them. The Gates belt drive allows no loss of speed on the hills as well as low maintenance. One last point get Sena Helmets that have blue toothed and allow a half mile range to communicate with fellow cyclists as well as linking up with your phone.

Great video (which are a little too rare, according to my taste).
I have 2 question about these bikes:
* front light and optional front rack: isn't the close range lighting affected by the front rack ? (it seems quite high and forward, compared to position of front light).
* cafe or folding lock: why is supercharger equiped with folding lock (with no option of cafe lock), and charge 3 with cafe lock ? (supercharger 2 and charger 3 seem to share same rack model, and in your video, supercharger rack seems to be equiped with fixation that should enable a cafe lock).
Marc B we haven’t noticed a problem with the rack interfering with the light beam. There is quite a bit of adjustability.
Good question about the lock options. Not sure why honestly! 🤔

It‘s possible. You can choose the 625 wh intube battery in connection with an 500wh dual battery. My Charger 3 has only the 625 version and we go in Eco/Tour modus up to 130km, while driving in flat land.
A great review, for an awesome bike. I have the 2018/19 version , full spec and really like the upgrades which had i known they were in the works, i would have waited for the 2020 model , they obviously validated this bike based on a lot of negative feedback in particularly the flimsy battery covers and the front drive ring combined with the new gen motor , now gives it an easier ride when the power is out ! as for another gripe of mine which R&M addressed , in that the rear pannier rack paint is no way as tough as what you would find on a Tubus rack, my Ortlieb panniers rubbed badly on the paint, which i have now covered with Tuff tape , as for the new bike, personally i do not like the colours , much prefer the Blue , i am aiming to upgrade at the end of this year to the 2020 model , unless their is a 2021 in the works ? personally i would like to see it with a set of 625 watt batteries to give it greater range ,re: the new lock position , it takes up to much valued frame space where i have utilised the down tube mounting points to fit a salsa cage and pod to hold my cook set and gas canisters , also the position of the front light restricts the use of a handle bar roll bag. Note for anybody contemplating getting one , the tyre changes are a bit of a bitch when it comes getting them on and off , i have fitted Tannus Armour Tire Inserts into the Schwalbe Super Moto X G-Guard road tyres which really really bomb proofs them from punctures. note also with the new bike you can get the premium bike locking function which works with the Kiox display and activated when the on-board computer is disconnected, ideally supplementing your eBike's mechanical lock, and lastly, you can also get a tracker fitted into the motor also.
Remember, you can’t change gears if you have a Rohloff gearbox if your battery runs out. I know. I have a Load 75 with a Rohloff.
Hi. Nice video. My question: what's the difference between Charger and Charger 3 ?
The Charger 3 is the newest Version of the Charger. The battery is intube and the new Bosch CX4 is in board now. The Bosch Update brings him on 85nm now, in Sport or Turbo modus. The old GH Version is included now. You can choose the GT version with wide tires in 27,5.
Is the cable management at the front and around the handlebar really that chaotic? Is that just an early run?
You know we probably can done a bit better tucking everything away. It’s quite clean and tucked away in person, though still accessible for service etc.
