We honestly felt like we watched documentary and we loved every single second of it🥰. This is one of the most detailed guides we have ever watched and we honestly just want to thank @tiff112 for putting it together. We can just imagine all the hard work that it took to make this guide!

Training system is a little bit harder than any company,being just a trainee in yg is such a big deal,writing and composing a song is also part of their training.Yg artist is an all-rounder but treasure took it on other level.Also Yg train their artist only with their in-house producers,dancers,and vocal trainors ,that's why every artist have this yg dna but they have their own character to show as a group and individual

I always love your genuine your reaction to Treasure. As a YG stan since Bigbang (yes I am a noona/unnie already), my heart goes to Treasure. I have watched them since YGTB. I witnessed their growth in all aspects and I am always proud of them. I am glad you found them. Thank you so much. And I agree with you, Treasure deserves all the respect and love. Thats why it pains my heart, if there are haters. Treasure are talented, all-rounder and humble, they dont deserve the hate because of those jealous antis.
Also, just like what you pointed out, Treasure have distinct voices. Thats how Yang Hyunsuk gets trainees in YG. He always looks for those who have unique voice. If you notice, all YG groups, you can distinguish their voices from each other. Once they sing, we can recognize them even if we close our eyes. Like how Taeyang of Bigbang sings, you will know its Junhoe of Ikon, its Rose of Blackpink, Seungyoon of Winner. And also the rappers, you can tell that this is GD, this Bobby, this is Mino. Im not saying this because I am a YG stan, but honestly, the reason why I stan only YG artists because I love how they sound different from other groups. Like the 1st time I listen to kpop, I cringe because of how they sound exactly the same and there is no distinction from each other no matter how many they are in a group they all sound the same and I dont like that. It sound so manufactured to me, i feel like its not real and no emotions. Glad i found Bigbang and 2nE1 and since then, I only listen to YG artists.
Also, its YG who started getting their idols in producing process and the 1st one to do it was Bigbang. Before idols are not even considered artists as they only sing what the producers of the company gave them. Bigbang change it. YG give artistic freedom to their artist even their fashion. Right after the success of Bigbang, other company are starting to let their artist at least share ideas and produce their own songs. So its not new as to why Treasure produce their own songs. Just like what Hyunsuk said, he wanted to debut in YG because its the only company who will let him make his own music.
Apologize for the long comment. I just want to point out this part as an old-timer YG stan who have seen a lot since Bigbang. I am so proud of Treasure.

I swear, you need to see Doyoung perform! Every bit of him dances with such emotions! It was even more intense live. Saw him the closest during their concert here in Manila. I was so stunned at his presence.

Their debut was delayed for 2 yrs because of YG thing and pandemic. They got lot of hates and was ignored just because their are from YG.
Yes, They are very talented and so famous during YGTB, but was boycotted by knetz and some fans left fandom because of YG issue, even tho they did nothing to them they are being affected. But Treasure's talents never betray. They maybe from Big company, but they went through a lot, and now getting success and recognitions because of their pure talents, they were called matchless idols because they are All Rounders.

It’s impossible not to fall in love with them after watching the Guide and their live performances. We called it Treasure effect!
We are definitely feeling the Treasure effect!🥹
YG trains their trainees all-around. From dancing, singing, rapping, music lessons, playing instruments, learning different languages, to physical and mental fitness...YG give their trainees all those extensive lessons. Every trainee is evaluated monthly for their dancing, singing/rapping abilities, solo performance and group perf, self composed songs or self choreograph dances depending on their assignments. All of YG boy groups are trained to make/produce their own music hence they have their private studios. Getting into YG as a trainee is already difficult and not everyone can be a trainee...you need to be invited to be a trainee, or top the audition. When you're invited everything is provided by YG but there's no guaranteed debut cos you still need to pass their evaluations. That's why i can see why these idols start to train young bec the average debut age is 17-21, in korea debuting above 21 is considered to be too old and there is so much thing to do. But its super inspiring how after they debut, they can talk about their hardships and still smile and be grateful that they did not give up.
As far as I know YG trained them to everything related to music and also in acting and debate. They are required to create their own lyrics, songs and also produce. In their monthly evaluation they need to perform in a group, individual with their live vocals rap, they will also choreograph their own steps every month and they can show their own songs to the main producer and other producers.
Im a YG stan for 13 years when I was 9 and now Im 22 so I started stanning Bigbang and now the newest group Treasure. They bear the YG blood indeed. I saw them in Manila last july 29 and yes they performed very well everyone was hype.

actually the delay of their debut is also because three of their maknae lines were aged 13(14 in Korean age, Junghwan) and 14(15 in Korean age, Haruto and Jeongwoo) during that time so debuting them would've been more complicated since the company is already facing so many unpleasant circumstances.....

And you all are right when you said they are so genuine because they are. You'd feel their genuine love for each other when you watch YGTB and TMAP, where they showed their real personalities.
30:09 exactly my reaction everytime I hear Junkyu sing. 🤧 He's a bit insecure of the tone of his voice but, honestly, it's sooo unique. This stage was very iconic even for Treasure bcoz every time they hear the songs, they always remember JUNKYU. He owned it and touched many ppl's hearts. ♡

Guys if you are curious on YG Training system you must watch their survival shows try YG Treasure Box cause it's mild unlike before which is more brutal still you will see how strict & how they discipline them they show that they don't babysit them but it shows how their trainees were more strong & mostly ready to debut that's also one reason why some agencies grab their trainees after YG get the final debut

Most people wanted to train and debut at YG coz' of the way they handle their artist. They give them freedom to create their music. (hyusuk said this on a fan call event too)
The freedom that the artist explore their craft.
Like Yedam is not active now in activities coz' he is stuying music. and the company let th do that.
44:38 being able to write and produce is basically a must when you want to debut in yg because if you notice they are one of the few companies who actually prioritize their artist's music making & artistry

they didnt wait because they wanted to it was because of all of yg scandals, if they had debuted them while all that was happening they would just ''flop'', a lot of people ignored them for a long time and didnt want to know them just because they are from yg even tho the scandals had nothing to do with them D: they all went through so much and it has never been easy for them, to make it worse they debuted during covid and it took almost 2 years for them to get the chance to meet the fans
I fall in love with YG artist and I learnt so much about YG after seeing their survival shows.

Those self composed songs of junkyu with asahi is their opening music for 3minute Treasure content. U fan find it in their channel. This guide isnt thorough in giving details. Self comoposed songs which are released in their albums are :

I love these boys so much. The friendship they have amongst themselves is something to be jealous of. They are very supportive of each other.
My bias is Haruto. I love his voice so much - it so addicting - and he is super talented and his confidence, aura and charisma especially during live performance is really no joke -it is over the roof - considering he is very young. He knows how to hype the crowd/fans.
You guys are right, YG training is no joke. The eliminated trainees from YG Treasure Box literally debuted as the main vocal, main rapper, and leader of their own respective groups now. Tbh, when i first time saw jaehyuk and watch YG Treasure Box (im not Teume), jaehyuk was really lacking on his vocal skill. He was behind all the members on that program. But when he performed Growl, i can see that he's born to be on stage. He's very good to control his expression to make the song and stage suits for him, and i think that not all idol can do that tho. So he deserves to be on Treasure.

As you know, YEDAM is in hiatus now together with MASHIHO, as YG statement yedam focuses on learning and studying music. So we, Treasure makers are patienly for them to return and promote as TREASURE with 12 members. Guess we are expecting YEDAM the producer when he returns ☺
