Suprising how back in the days people shared samples yet managed to make more creative hardstyle than nowadays! And it did not require to be packed to the roof with chaotic patterns and 150+bpm to be smashing and atmospheric :)
I will agree, it does get repetitive, but I feel like that's all new stuff...I mostly just enjoy the "how hard can I make this kick" aspect...not to mention good screeches. Earlier stuff will always be superior though, especially when we're talking melodically.
